《Lucky Kiss Number 13》Chapter 2

✿◕‿◕✿ Tessa's P.O.V
After a boring hour my teacher finally finished his lecture. I was on the verge of dying until I was saved by the lunch bell. How can a man make a five minute explanation about our upcoming trip to the forest, into a speech on how we can find different types of soils? His mono toned voice didn't help me either.
As I made my way into the cafeteria, I spotted my sister waving at me from the other side of the room. For people in different cliques, I actually got along with some of the cheerleaders pretty well. Well sort of, some of them are just plain stupid.
"Hey guys."
A wide smile appeared onto my face as I saw a big piece of red velvet cake sitting in front of my sister. As I sat in the seat right next to Chasity, I couldn't help it to eyeball it some more. I'm pretty sure drool was going to come out of my mouth sooner or later.
"If you want it, you can have it Tessa. You're acting like mom doesn't feed us properly." A giggle came out of her mouth as she pushed the plate towards me. I gave her a big hug before I started to devour all of the cake in three whole bites. Everyone at the table started to eye me as I put the plastic fork down.
"What?" I casually said, not realizing what the big deal was.
"How could you eat like that and not get fat at all?" One of the cheerleaders chirped in. I gave her a quick shrug before making my way into my bag, pulling out a container full of fries and a burger. I heard even more gasps from around the table. It's like they never seen food before.
"Let me rephrase that, how can you eat like a man and not gain a single pound?"
"I do not eat like a man! This is an average portion for lunch." I defended myself. My eyes wandered around the table, seeing plates of salads everywhere. Well they were cheerleaders, don't they have a strict diet or something?
I quickly checked my phone for any new messages. Not surprisingly, I had a message from Keaton. Since the little incident that had happen last Friday, I've been receiving a bunch of texts from him all weekend.
Of course I'm not stupid enough to reply to him, even though I really just wanted to tell him to shut up. Maybe if I keep ignoring him, he will give up on the whole Lucky Charm thing. I quickly skimmed over the texts that he had just sent, maybe proclaiming his defeat?
Keaton: Tessie, did I make you nervous when we kissed? You just can't handle me. What? Too hot for you? Is that why you refuse to answer?

"Hey Tessa, can I talk to you for a second?"
I took my eyes of off my phone and took a glance upwards to see that Jake Farrons sitting in the seat across from me. When did he get here?
"Um, yea sure?"
Jake was your typical jock, he was the quarterback at this school. I avoided making conversation with him as much as possible because of his crazy and possessive girlfriend. Plus, we aren't exactly on friendly terms.
"You shouldn't be hanging around with guys from Pineview. You're sort of considered a cheerleader since you fill in sometimes, and kissing guys from there would mean betraying the Bulldogs."
"What?" I accidentally blurted out, almost choking on my own spit. He gave me a blank stare as if I was stupid.
"Everyone around here knows you kissed Collins."
His comment kind of creeped me out. How did everyone know? I felt kind of stalked now. It's not like I wanted to kiss Keaton, I was technically forced to kiss him. Besides I'm pretty sure I won't be kissing Keaton any time soon.
"Um, Okay?"
"As long as were on the same page. See you at the party on Friday." He sent me one of his killer winks, before making his way out.

I quickly grabbed all of my books from my lockers and started to toss them into my bag, not even bothering to check which text book was which. I was exactly thirty seconds away from the bell to ring for fourth period class. I cannot afford another detention. I have a tendency to be late for a lot of things, don't I?
"Look who we have here. The little bitch who tried to steal my boyfriend."
"Huh?" I slammed my locker door shut, revealing a very angry red headed girl.
Rochelle Evans, the queen bee of the school. She thinks just because her father owns a tanning salon, and her mother happens to be the stinking principle of the school, that she can waltz around and play princess.
She was and still is a bitch, a capital pain in the butt. No, we weren't one of those cliché friends who became enemies; we were never friends to begin with. We had more of an, 'I hate you, and I don't even want to get to know' type of relationship.
"Don't play dumb, you're the whore who was all over my man at lunch. I saw you with my very own eyes."
"We were just talking and there was no flirting what so ever."
"Your just as pathetic as your mom when-" I slapped her right across the face, cutting her off before she had a chance to finish her sentence.
No one talks about my mother like that. They never understood the other side to the story. They never knew the pain that words could cause to a person. They never took into consideration to my mother's feelings; they never understood the truth behind the lies.

'Just walk away. Try and be the bigger person' That little voice at the back of my mind said, something that my mom had been teaching me for years. Before I even got a chance to step away, Rochelle dug her fake nails deep into my arm.
Well that's sure going to leave a mark.
"FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!"
Those words repeatedly chanted over and over again, from the crowd that we seemed to have drawn. Instead of going to class like I should, I would be late because of a fight.
What seemed like your average girly cat fight had turned into a boxing arena. What went from pulling hair became actual punches with our fists. Rochelle even bit my arm a couple of times.
If she was a guy, this would have been done a lot faster. One, most guys don't hit girls. Two, if she was a male I would have kicked her in the ball sack and call it a day.
My heart was racing; I could feel the adrenaline flowing through my body. I was prepared to give her the ultimate punch.

"Tessa Queens, you know that we have a very strict hands off policy here at Rexdale High. What you did to Miss Evans is not acceptable! I have already called your mother, and she is on her way here. You will have a severe punishment, you are expelled from this school!"
My jaw dropped slightly from its original position, this is all just a dream right? There is no way you can be expelled for just one little fight.
"Close your mouth Miss Queens or you will catch flies. Now I don't want you to think I'm picking favourites, but you did break my daughter's nose! Do you know how expensive it will cost to get it fixed? Also you have a record of being late to class; you are being a very bad influence to the rest of the students. If you weren't so tardy, I would have reconsidered the consequences."
Bad influence? Has she seen what her daughter wears to school? Plus I'm pretty sure my grades are better than her bimbo daughter. This was repulsive. Of course like mother like daughter, the apple sure doesn't fall far from the tree. Is this even legal?
"But Ma'am, this absurd! How can I be expelled because of one little fight? Rochelle was equally at fault!"
I am sure I am going to have a panic attack, this was unfair! Reality just settled in, I'm going to be fucking expelled. Will a university even accept a delinquent?
"Lower your voice young lady!"
"B-But, but-"
"No buts! You should have thought of that before you hit Rochelle!"
I was completely speechless; I didn't even know what to do! I didn't even know how to react, tears started to form in my eyes. My eyes were locked on the fresh purple bruises on my arm, I was going to cry, right here right now.
☆ '•.¸.•' º ☆
My mind know how to react to this situation, I didn't know how my mom would react! I think she was still in the state of shock. My whole entire body started to tense, anxiety started to stir up inside my stomach. I watched my mom who kept on pacing back and forth around my room. I couldn't help but to think about all of the possible consequences.
Will I be grounded forever? Will she kick me out of the house? Will she disown me?
"Tessaline Queens, explain to me exactly what happen today." I knew I was in real deep shit for sure, she said my full name. She never calls me Tessaline unless it was really bad; well I guess getting expelled is pretty bad.
I took a loud gulp. Was it getting hotter in here, or is it just me?
So it took me a good half an hour for me to explain the whole scenario to her, eventually and surprisingly we actually met eye to eye. My mom took it a lot better than I had expected, well sort of.
"Honey, you shouldn't care what other people say. What ever happened in the past is the past. I have moved on and so should you. You're still grounded, but thank you. Remember that violence is never the answer." She planted a kiss right on my forehead.
"So do I have school tomorrow or something?" I awkwardly said as I scratch my head.
"Of course, even troublemakers have school honey. I'll enroll you to Pineview tomorrow morning; it'll be a great fresh start for you."
"Oh, okay."
I didn't exactly have any best friends at school; I just hung out with who ever wanted to talk to me. So I guess I wouldn't be losing much. Plus I don't have to see Rochelle or her attitude anymore.
Shit.
Doesn't Keaton go to Pineview?
Note: I just wanted to say big thankyou! 2000+ reads within the first week! This is just crazy:) I would like to thank you all of my supporters.
Now onto some stuff about this chapter. For some reason, I wasn't really feeling this chapter for some reason. I know it seems kind of rushed, I may even rewrite it if I get the chance. I just really wanted to get something out.
