《Ephemera | poetry》| A Walk to Olympus |

A walk to Olympus ; in a starry dream,

Strokes of azure un-touched un-seen,

A clash of a mortal with immortal souls;

A reality to shatter away some thrones,

To the mascot of thunder, heaven and worlds,

He who swirls his magic in streaks ; grey and gold,

Would Zeus give me a piece of light;

To carve eternity on our grave stones,

A word with Artemis if I could have,

The deity of hunt and all wild lands,

Would she lead me astray to the wilderness unknown;

Help me seek the seclusion my heart had known,

And where would he be the God of horses and seas,

The mythical Poseidon ; one who rules the great reefs,

Does he have the audacity to drown in the waves;

When the world is parched in heavenly rains,

Am I visible to her ; the deity of nighted times,

The darkling Nyx who reins the midnight skies,

Will she be there when I embrace the gloom of my soul;

Cradling me to death when my eyes would be sore,

And hail to the king who has ever long died,

The lonely Hades ; who never knew what was life,

Would he welcome me home after a journey forlorn;

When I walk into hell with my demons forevermore,

Where was Panacea when I needed her the most,

The mascot of healing who let my shallow wounds grow,

Where was her remedy when venom coursed my veins;

Where was her touch when my rosy cheeks were stained,

So when I walk to Olympus in my mindless dream,

To converse with these rulers ; these chimerical beings,

I would curse them the truth they should by now know;

The mortal held storms ; they could never endure.
