《Ephemera | poetry》|Graves|

With an aura smoked pearly white,

And fingers wisps of star-crossed trails;

The moon burned oddly bright tonight,

To keep those lurking shadows at bay

The leaves crackled with delight,

As thewind finally swept them away,

The roses withered in despair;

They were left alone on these graves

The soil whispered secrets across,

Of the peace-less souls resting within,

Buried under the weight of lust;

That kept them even up in graves

The souls that swept on the ground,

Leaving stamps of their ashen fate,

Cursed to wander days on earth;

No rest in their homely graves

The longing eyes of a lonesome child,

Fixed along those iron gates;

Desperately waiting for the love,

Helplessly lost to by fate to graves

The whimper of a lover's heart,

Stitched in threads of loss and pain;

Yearning for the clocks to run,

For eternity love had found in graves

A common home for people unknown,

With the same agony of living in haste;

secrets buried deep in the hearts,

That still beat in the silence of graves

To sleep that comes to me at night,

and peace that I yearn to chase

have I forgotten the galring end,

When I one day would sleep in graves.
