《The Mafia Stalker (Crazy Mafia series Book 3)》Chapter 38

"That is not possible, Miss Black." I heard the exasperated tone and tried to hide my smile.
It was hard, it was getting impossible but I tried to bite back the laugh that was threatening to race out of my mouth.
Little Fae... Little Fae... God must have made you carefully in his spare time.
"It's White Black." She responded giggling loudly when the doctor started rubbing the cold gel on her stomach.
I had to postpone the trip to Hong Kong to a month later just so I don't miss the first scan of my baby.
When Fae said she was pregnant, all I could think was, 'Woah! That was on the spot!'. I was happy, excited and Goddamn exuberant with the news.
The thought of having my own baby and that too with my little Fae, especially with her mannerisms brought back kinetic energy in me.
"I'm sorry?" The lady doctor frowned in question when Fae corrected her.
"Her surname is White Black." I informed the doctor before little Fae tire herself from narrating the story behind the specialty of her name.
Now that there is a baby inside her, she should be more careful and work absolutely less. I think I should not let her talk more as well.
Should I get a psychic machine to read her mind so she doesn't tire herself?
I think I should place cushions all over the mansion so she could only walk on something soft.
"You know, Dr. Sanz, this is absolutely unfair to our babies. You know I'm right, right?" Fae continued the topic of conversation that startled the doctor few minutes ago.
I think it must be the first time for her to get a patient like Fae who asked something so -.
Never mind!
"Ms. White Black, I think you are over-thinking yourself. The infant will grow enough so you don't have to worry." Dr. Sanz replied almost annoyed but with me seriously looking down at her, she concealed her emotions; at least tried her best to.
"But men have much wider stomach and hips. Babies will have free space inside men to grow, roll, sleep and play. We women have rather small stomachs and baby should have to think twice before they decide to grow further." What a thinking!
How does she come up with such innovative thinking?
I don't think anyone else in the whole world would have thought like this other than my Fae.

Although she sounds serious and kind of reasonable, she also makes me what to roll down on the floor and laugh with the thought provoking ideas.
Only if she is a real God, Earth would've had many interesting things!
"Miss Whit-" Dr. Sanz huffed deeply as her face grew darker every minute.
"I want my baby to grow freely." Fae mumbled to herself making the doctor to turn her attention to the monitor where the image is being displayed.
Dr. Sanz clearly has no smart retort to make.
"There you see, that is your baby. You are only seven weeks pregnant so we cannot tell the gender yet. The child is strong and has good heart beat." Hearing the doctor say those words, I'm almost sitting on the clouds.
There is no great news in the world that can compete with the news of being a parent. It feels so... satisfying.
One cannot hold his breath steadily when you are too overly joyous.
"Make three pictures." I ordered the doctor and she nodded silently.
Now, even Padre cannot separate little Fae from me. After all, he cannot disown his own grandchild, yes?
Once I cleaned the gel from Fae's stomach, I helped her from the bed and walked her carefully to the visiting chairs. Dr. Sanz sat in her consulting place and started preparing the chart of do's and don'ts along with the health chart.
"You should not be careless from now onwards, little Fae. You should not work at all and not walk much." I told her while I patted her shoulder slowly as kept a keen eye on her.
Little Fae just shrugged, "A lioness even hunts when pregnant." She retorted with a proud smile.
Now, what do I say to that?
She makes me speechless with unexpected statements. Although I find her cute when she does that, sometimes, I find it difficult to make a good response too.
And there, people think I'm an eloquent Don!
"Do you have kids, Dr. Sanz?" She asked conversationally making the doctor to raise her head and look at Fae with a curious raise of a brow.
"Not yet. I just got married recently. We are trying to have one."
"Ah, are you trying to find who can father a baby for you?" Fae asked very casually. I coughed out awkwardly when the doctor gave Fae a look of complete disbelief.
"I'm trying to have a baby with my own husband." Dr. Sanz replied seemingly offended by what Fae suggested.

Fae, on the other side, nodded her head in agreement nonchalantly as if she did not just offend the lady doctor.
"That's good. I hope you can have a baby with at least this husband." Fae commented confidently.
This husband?
Did the doctor say she was already married once before?
"How do you know that my current husband is not my first husband?" Dr. Sanz exclaimed giving her complete attention to Fae.
Really?
How did she know?
I wonder who little Fae doesn't know. She seems to be acquainted with saint to Satan, everyone. She freaking has connections with a crown prince too.
I thought I might get bored of Fae once I know about her completely. How ignorant of me! This girl can surprise me every minute with something new every time.
"Hello freaks app" Fae shrugged. I and Dr. Sanz looked dumbfounded at her trying to decipher what she is talking about.
The what app?
"What is that?" I asked Fae before the doctor could.
Fae turned to me with her ever flourishing smile that always makes my heart ride a horse of love for her. "It's a daily horoscope app we made."
"And how did you know about me from that app? Isn't that a horoscope app?" That's my doubt too!
"The app suggested that I will meet an unlucky wife with several married experiences and who is a lucky single. I see you are post middle age so I just thought you must be the one that the app suggested." Uh!
That's - !
Well...!
Umm...!
"That's fascinating. What does lucky single mean?" Dr. Sanz who now fell for my Fae's charms, leaned forwards on the table with interest.
"It means you can have a baby if you are single. I tell you, you should also have a baby first and then get married. You should divorce your husband first." Fae suggested boldly.
How come Fae has an app and I didn't know about it?
How come she said those pinching words so boldly and casually?
"Uh, little Fae, it's none of our business. Now that you are pregnant, you should not stress about these things and rest well." I said before Dr. Sanz could say anything offending to Fae.
After meeting Fae, I can clearly see that I became a modest talker. I think a lot before talking and I'm always cautious of what is coming from my mouth.
What I want to know is what made me this way.
"I'm a Pieces, can you tell me my horoscope for tomorrow?" Fae nodded enthusiastically and pulled out her phone to open the app.
The app opened with a cartoon of man and a woman who are disheveled and running on the screen like mad people.
The home page showed astrological quotes with a search tab on the top and Zodiac signs down the quotes. She clicked on Pieces and there she entered tomorrow's date on the calendar.
"Kiss a stranger to be blessed with your deepest desire to come true." She read out the reading.
"I'm a Pieces too, little Fae." I coughed out ignoring the very thoughtful look on Dr. Sanz face.
Is she really taking the reading seriously?
Isn't horoscope and astrology a whole sack of crap?
Who takes this crap seriously, heck, who in twenty first century would believe them?
"Then you should kiss a stranger too, Alcohol. You don't worry I will look for a stranger for you. Leave it to me. Dr. Sanz, you should kiss a stranger too and win a jackpot of your deepest desire." Dr. Sanz listened keenly to Fae and nodded her head before giving me Fae's reports and file.
I and Fae walked out with a huge smile on my face. Finally, I'm going to be a father! Yes!
"What is the software that generates the horoscope readings, by the way? They sound plausible." I asked even though I don't really believe them.
I'm just so curious about where she gets those readings from. When she said her horoscope for today earlier and when the doctor confirmed it's not her first marriage, I just thought it was believable even though it is not believable.
With Fae, I'm coming to believe many things that I usually don't!
"Software? There is no software. I write the predictions every day. I randomly write them and they happen to become true."
That did it!
She writes the predictions and readings?
What exactly is my little Fae?
She freaking writes the predictions herself? Randomly?
What not can she not do?
Wait... now, will the doctor go around kissing a stranger just because the app said so?
Oh Devil!
