《Pink and Yellow - Trimberly》Chapter 26 (Final Chapter)

"Babe." Kimberly poked the Yellow Ranger's shoulder a total of 16 times trying to wake up her girlfriend. "C'mon, get up. We gotta go to school."
The Latina grumbled, "No we don't..." and pulled the blanket over her head.
"Yeah we do." The Pink Ranger used all her strength to rip the blanket off of the smaller girl only to have her groan and mumble a few inaudible words. "And I don't wanna be late."
"Fine then." Trini sighed and got up from the bed. "But school is for the weak."
Kimberly laughed while getting dressed. "Sorry, babe. But Zordon says we gotta live as if we have a normal life."
"Fuck Zordon..."
The girls spent the morning teasing each other and exchanging banter. Once they were finally ready, they headed off to school and to first period where they would be separated until lunch.
Trini, as always, never payed any mind to the teachers and still managed to pass every class. With being a pretty intelligent student plus having her mind on Kim 24/7 made it seem like school was irrelevant.
-
The day went by as any other. The five Power Rangers sat at together at lunch on a picnic table outside talking about anything and everything. They shared thoughts, ideas, and 'what ifs'. Anyone would've mistaken them for a normal group of teenagers.
Last period came along and the Pink and Yellow Rangers took their seats, waiting for class to begin. The only difference being that the two girls actually tried to pay attention in fear of having to complete an impossible project. Mrs. Norris noticed this and smiled to herself throughout the lesson. When class was over, all students packed up and exited the room. All except for Trini and Kimberly. They didn't even move a muscle when the bell rang.
The teacher smiled. "Why, hello girls."
"Hey, Nancy." Trini smirked and waved.
Kimberly chuckled and shook her head at her girlfriend. "Now why would you be rude to our favourite teacher?
The Latina mumbled, loud enough for Mrs. Norris to hear. "Favourite would be reaching quite a bit..."
Mrs. Norris grinned at Trini. "I know both of you like me but don't want to admit it." She paused for a moment. "How'd I do?"
"Ten our of ten for teacher..." The Yellow Ranger started.

"Twenty out of ten for matchmaker." The Pink Ranger finished smiling.
"So you're finally dating, yes?" She asked and we both nodded our heads. "It's about time, don't you think?"
Trini shrugged. "Could've been a bit later." Kimberly faked being insulted. "I'm joking, babe."
"Damn right you better be."
"Language, Miss Hart. I wouldn't want to put you back into detention." Mrs Norris sent her a playful glare.
Kimberly laughed and responded. "I wouldn't mind if you did."
-
"It says 'Put in oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes'." Billy read, while Kimberly put the round dish in the oven.
"That wasn't too hard, I guess." She spoke.
"Remind me why we did this again?" The Red Ranger questioned from the bar stool on the other side of the island.
Trini came back from putting up a few ingredients in the pantry. "Cause it's fun and we've never done something like this before."
"I agree."
"Of course you do, Kim." Zack chuckled and sat on a stool next to Jason.
"Oh, shut up."
While Billy, Kimberly, Jason, and Zack were busy in their own conversation, Trini snuck away and retrieved the bag of flower. There were only about two cups left so she didn't think it would be a big deal. The Latina took a handful of flour and slid behind the Blue Ranger.
"Billy." She spoke up getting his attention. He turned around to see what she needed. But before he could speak, Trini took the flour and spread it across his face. His jaw dropped as his face was covered in the powdery substance.
The other three at this point had stopped chatting and watched the interacted. Jason was holding in a laugh, Zack got up from his seat, and Kimberly had her hand cupped over her mouth. Zack then quickly snatched the bag away from the Yellow Ranger and flicked it in her face, coating it with flour. The others began to laugh as a huge food fight broke out a few seconds later.
Everyone took whatever food they could find and started to throw it at each other. At one point, Billy got the eggs out of the fridge and chucked them at Zack who succeeded in slapping Jason across the face with a slice of pizza. Kimberly snuck up behind Trini and wrapped her arm around the Latina's neck while pouring a bottle of water on her head. They laughed hysterically and tried to fight each other off. All except for Jason were soaked due to the mini water war. Everyone scattered and took cover somewhere in the kitchen and kept throwing food or flinging open water bottles.

During all of this, Kimberly, who was drenched in water grabbed Trini up and out of her hiding spot. She turned them around by her hips. They were in the very middle of the war, getting hit with water, eggs, rice, and more. But Kimberly didn't give a fuck. She cupped the sides of the Latina's face and pulled her in for a searing kiss that seemed to last an hour. Their lips moved together perfectly as screaming, laughing, and cursing took place in the background. Nothing mattered but them. When the kiss ended, they rested their foreheads on each other and grinned.
While staring into each other's eyes, they heard Zack say, "Man... I'm so fucking single." Which caused more laughter.
The food fight lasted until the oven dinged signalling the cake was finish. They called a truce and Jason went to get the dessert out of the oven. He placed it on a serving dish then the messy countertop.
"We just made a freaking cake." The Black Ranger chuckled. "And didn't set the house on fire."
"Ha, well we made a huge mess anyway." Jason noted.
Billy shrugged it off. "I don't really care. I was having so much fun."
"Me too." The two girls exclaimed simultaneously. This caused them to smile lovingly at the other.
"You guys are so cute together and all, but I think we should start eating this cake now." Zack advised.
Billy took a knife from one of the drawers and cut into the cake, giving each a slice.
"Holy shit, that's actually not bad." The Pink Ranger marvelled while taking a bite.
"I'm surprised too." Jason chuckled. "I thought it'd be horrible.
"Same. But we did a pretty good job." Trini agreed.
-
After they finished nearly half of the cake, they cleaned up the giant mess they made It took a little over two hours to clean because they kept joking around.
Once it was finally squeaky clean, they all sat on the couch to watch some TV. Trini and the arm rest with Kimberly snuggled up close to her, Billy in the center, and Zack and Jason on the shorter end. Billy suggested they watch Friends and everyone happily agreed.
Two episodes went by before Trini got lost in thought.
Trini now is sitting on the couch at Billy's house, cuddling with her girlfriend while watching Friends with her fellow Rangers. She traces her fingers along the side of her neck where the scar is that Rita Repulsa left behind two years ago. She gave Trini that scar, and it will never ever beat her down again. Trini thinks about how far along she's come. With her best friends always by her side, she'll always be okay.
Trini looks down at Kimberly and softly places a kiss on her head. The Pink Ranger smiles up at her and whispers, "I love you so much."
The Latina mirrors her smile. "I love you too." She kisses her. "It will always be us."
"It's always and will always be; Pink and Yellow."
The End
"It's been like six episodes can we watch something else?" Zack complained to Billy.
"Um, excuse me?" Kimberly shot. "How could you ever get tired of Friends?"
"I don't know. It's just been too long."
"We can watch something else if you like." Jason told him. "What do you have in mind?"
"I.T."
"Oh, geez." I groaned.
"Oh, c'mon, Trini we didn't watch it last time 'cause your girlfriend didn't wanna. Let's watch it." The Black Ranger argued.
I looked down at Kimberly who had her face in my neck. "Is that alright with you, babe?"
Kimberly mumbled an "I guess." so Trini looked at Zack and shrugged. He got excited and hopped off the couch to get the remote and turn on the horror movie.
We got about 15 minutes i'm when there was a knock at the door. It was pretty late so we were confused why someone would want to be out at this time. When I volunteered to get the door, Kim gave me a quick 'be careful' look. I nodded and said I could take care of myself if something happened I'm a damn Power Ranger. She laughed and I made my way to the door.
I opened the door and a cool breeze caused me to shiver slightly. When I finally got a look at the tall, muscular figure standing outside, I froze.
"Hey, Trin... How are you?"
