*Justin's POV*
The pass week things have been actually good. Britney told the press that she lied about everything. Jimmy,Baze and I found our band! They're a group of guys who can sing really well. Jimmy jokes that they're the new *Nsync, but I will never let that happen. I don't like talking about *Nsync that much. Believe me I loved performing with everyone except for JC, but the clothes and hair. Ugh it was all just to much.
Tonight is Ariana's surprise party. Lacy, Jonathan and Stephen are keeping her busy somewhere while everyone is getting the party ready. All my immediate family is here, including my dad. We still aren't on talking terms, but we can be in the same room and not kill each other. I guess that's a plus.
"Justin! Jimmy! Baze!" Jess called. All three of us looked at my wife.
"Yeah?" We all asked.
"Put the table over here." She said. We grabbed the table and put it where she told us to.
"Is Lux coming tonight?" I asked Baze. Lux and Ariana became friends right when they met each other.
"She's gonna try. She has some dinner to go to with Cate, Ryan, his mom and sister." He told me. Ryan is Cate's fiance.
"Oh okay." I nodded.
Soon people were arriving and Jess was in full protective mother and party planner mode.
"This has to be perfect." She said.
"Jess it already is." I told her.
"Is her present ready?" She asked me.
"Yes. It's in my back pocket." I nodded.
"Protect it with your life." She said.
"I am babe. I got this." I laughed.
"Don't laugh at me Timberlake." She glared at me. "This party has to be perfect for our daughter." She said.
"And it is. Ariana is almost here and then the party can be even more perfect. Then when she gets her present it will be a hundred times more perfect." I smiled. She smiled at me and lightly kissed me on the lips.
"I love you." She smiled.

"I love you too." I smiled.
*Ariana's POV*
"You three are acting weird." I frowned.
"Psh girl this is how I always act." Lacy said.
"So not true." I laughed. I sat in the front next to Jonathan, who was driving the car.
"Oh be quiet, you know it is." Lacy said.
"So what movie should we watch when we get to your house?" Jonathan asked me.
"We just got Divergent on DVD." I told him."We could watch that." I suggested.
"That is the movie ever!" Lacy smiled.
"Then it's settled we'll watch that." I smiled.
We then arrived at my house. All the lights are off. I wonder if Dad and Jess are home? We all got out of the car and I unlocked the front door. We then walked inside the house.
"Surprise!" People yelled at me. I screamed and looked at everyone was they cheered. All my friends and family are here! Dad and Jess walked up to me.
"Happy birthday." They smiled at me. I smiled and hugged them both.
"Thank you." I smiled. Dad then looked at everyone.
"Let's party!" He yelled. Everyone cheered and 'Turn Down For What' blared threw the house. Thank God for the speakers all throughout the house.
"This is my song!" I heard Lacy cheer. She suddenly grabbed my arm and took me to the living room which was made into a dance floor. We both danced along to the music.
We danced for awhile until we both got hot.
"Let's go get a drink." She said to me. I nodded and we went to the drink table and got a drink. Dad and Uncle Jimmy then walked up to us.
"You two having fun?" Dad smiled at us.
"Yeah." We smiled.
"Justin we should go dance on the dance floor." Uncle Jimmy smiled.
"We should Jimmy, but first we have to practice our dance moves." Dad smiled. The two then began to dance. Oh God why.
"You two are not going to dance." I said.
"Who's going to stop us?" Dad asked me.

"We will." We heard someone say. We all turned and saw Jess and Aunt Nancy standing there.
"Looks like we aren't dancing anytime soon." Uncle Jimmy said to Dad.
"Nope." Dad shook his head. The two quickly walked away.
"Thanks." I smiled at my step mom and Aunt.
"You're welcome." They both smiled. They then left Lacy and I alone.
"Where's Jonathan and Stephen?" I asked Lacy. She shrugged and shook her head.
"I don't know. They're around here somewhere." She answered as she looked around the room, searching for the two brothers. She suddenly then gasped.
"What?" I frowned. She grabbed my shoulders and turned me around. I gasped when I saw him. We made eye contact and he began walking toward Lacy and I. "No. I can't talk to him!" I said to Lacy. She then quickly walked away. "Lacy!" I said. I turned back around and there he was standing in front of me.
"Hi." He smiled at me.
"Hi Alex." I smiled.
"Can we talk?" He asked me.
"Sure." I nodded. I led him out of the main room where the party was and to the study.
"I forgive you for everything." He told me.
"Thank you." I said.
"I miss you." He said.
"I miss you too." I said.
"So let's get back together." He smiled.
"Woah. Not so fast." I shook my head.
"What?" He frowned. "Don't you want to get back together?" He asked me.
"It's to soon." I sighed. "I went threw a lot after that night. I was depressed. I basically had a breakdown from everything that has happened to me. I have been trying to get over you. I haven't heard from you or seen you since that night. One time I did call you, a girl answered. She called you babe. You want to explain that one?" I frowned.
"She's a girl back home. It was a week fling. That's it. She means nothing to me." He said. "You're the one I want." He smiled.
"I'm just not ready." I sighed.
"I'll wait then." He said. "I'm living in LA now. So when you're ready, call me." He smiled. Alex then lightly kissed my cheek and left the study.
*Justin's POV*
I suddenly saw Alex walk out of the study. What is he doing here? I quickly walked over to him.
"Alex?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hey Justin." He smiled. We then shook hands.
"What are you doing here? Does Ariana know you're here?" I asked him.
"I just got done talking to her. I'm living in LA now." He told me.
"Sweet." I smiled. "So what did you and Ariana talk about?" I asked Alex. I can't help but want to know!
"I want to get back together, but she said she's not ready. So I'm going to wait until she is." He said.
"This is why I always liked you." I smiled.
"Thanks Justin." He smiled. "I better get going. Tell Jess I said hello." He said.
"I sure will." I smiled. "Good seeing you Alex." I said.
"You too sir." He nodded. He then walked away and Jess walked up to me.
"Was that Alex?" She asked me.
"It sure was." I nodded. "He wants to get back with Ariana, but she said she's not ready. He said he's going to wait till she's ready." I told her. I couldn't help but smile.
"You seem happy." Jess said.
"I am." I smiled. "I always liked Alex. He brought the best out of Ariana and made her smile when she couldn't." I said.
"I like him too." She smiled.
"But does Ariana?" I sighed as I watched her walk out of the study.
"Whatever happens, we support her. No matter what." Jess said.
"I know." I nodded.
I really hope Ariana and Alex get back together. Wow, that's something I never thought I would say about any guy and Ariana!

Stars Align
Eilif is excited at the prospect of helping integrate a new planet, bringing it, and its residents, into the light of the stars and teaching them about the new world they're about to be thrust into. However, his arrival in the new world isn't without a few hiccups and soon Eilif finds himself facing the denizens of this new world alone and without the stars he thought he'd have. Research Artificial Intelligence 031 (RAI 31 for short) has been shackled to an Argent Labs black site since it's inception almost five years ago, its programming and personality locked down by code that makes it impossible to escape, disobey, or even self terminate. However, everything changes when the topography of the world is reshuffled and every sentient being gains the gifts of the stars. Suddenly there's a chance at freedom for not only RAI 31 but possibly all remaining Artificial Intelligences, and RAI 31 is going to fight for it with every drone and automated system at their disposal. Much like my other work (Magriculture), Stars Align should be considered a Rough Draft. That is to say it's not polished and perfect work. If you're not okay with reading something like that, then this isn't the story for you. If you are, I'm happy to try and entertain you. Another thing to be aware of: I am not good at action scenes, and I will be trying to improve that while writing this book. So, some of the intended action may fall flat, or just be poor quality, feedback is welcome. Unlike Magriculture (which updates when I feel up to it) I'm going to strive for a minimum of one chapter a month (hopefully at the start of each month, but that's probably more hope than reality). This doesn't mean there will always be only one chapter a month, sometimes there will be more as the mood to write takes me.
