New Years Eve

2pm

"You think these are enough?" Jackie said holding up the three bottles of alcohol.

"Should be. Is it just us?" I asked her.

"A couple of friends of mine and Destiny and Jazlyn and some other friends of Jada's." She said and I nodded.

"Get five. Two hennessy's, one d'usse, one sangria, one moscato." I said and she nodded.

I was out with Jada's mom getting stuff for tonight while Jada stayed behind and Jerome was out with some friends of his before tonight.

Q, Bria, Mia, and Mina stayed in Florida for the New Years until Jada and I got back then we can say our goodbyes before leaving for Nevada.

"So, how do you feel? You and Jada are leaving in just two days." She said seeming happy but a little sad at the same time.

"Jada and I will FaceTime you as much as possible. And we'll send you pictures of your grandkids." I said smirked to myself. She smiled at me.

"You're an amazing son in law." She said complimenting me.

"Don't sweat it momma J." I said chuckling at how emotional she was.

"Hey, I have a question." I asked her as we walked through the snack isle.

"Shoot." She said looking around at the snacks.

I paused for a moment contemplating if I really wanted to ask this question or just surprise her and everyone else after I surprise Jada.

"Actually nevermind I just answered my own question." I said and she looked over at me a raised an eyebrow.

"Boy what was the question?" She asked and chuckled.

"I just forgot." I said lying.

"Mhmmm." She said smirking and continuing looking at the snacks.

"You making conkies tonight?" I asked her and cheesed like a little kid.

"No." She said laughing. "Jada is." She continued.

"Oooooooooo yeah tonight has to hurry up." I said getting excited. I was so happy I had me an island girl. The good eats man.

"Goodbye Marcel." She said laughing.

"Pick up that damn bag of pretzels and come on. Acting a damn fool." She said laughing again and I did as told.

We continued to get stuff for tonight until we finally bought everything and left out the store.

We all just about finished setting up the house for tonight. Jada was setting down the conkies on the dining table.

I didn't know whether to feel disgusted or cool about that sentence. There were SO MANY questions. Especially the question of how the hell we didn't hear them.

I nodded at him and chuckled and went to go wash my hands.

Shortly after, people started to come. Mostly Jackie's friends started to show up though.

Jackie and Jerome were busy socializing with them and Jada pulled me into the bathroom.

She started to unbuckle my pants.

After everyone cheered and celebrated we just laughed and partied a little more. Everyone was already drunk of their asses.

Everyone finally left and Jerome and Jackie were nowhere to be found and the house was kind of a mess but we were all too drunk to clean right now.
