"Well then, who's next?" Hermione yelled, challenging anyone who was willing to for a fight. She was in a mood. And she wanted to let her anger out on something. Usually it would be a tree but Hermione was out for blood. Pan took her by the shoulders, "If your out for blood I can give you it, love." Hermione smirked, "Let's play a game." The girl let out an annoyed sigh, "A game Pan? Really, I'm not 5!" She barked, not realising the Lost Boy had taken her dagger. "We're playing a game." The girl waited. "What game?" Pan looked at the lost boys, "Hide and Seek. With a Twist."
Hermione was intrigued, "Twist?" Pan nodded. "It's not just you out for blood Hermione, my lost boys are too." The brunette turned towards the boys. "I hope you boys are good hiders, cause I'm in a foul mood." Pan sat her down. "Okay here are the rules."
------------
Hermione and the boys split into two groups. "Don't get killed, if your still alive by sunrise you win." Hermione smirked, she took her dagger back from the lost boy in green. "Let's play!" Pan shouted before both groups ran in different directions.
Hermione ran by Felix's side, "You gotta game plan?" She asked as the two neared Mermaid Lagoon. "Be careful, don't die!" Hermione stopped, drawing her bow and shooting one of the older lost boys with an arrow coated in dreamshade. "Great Felix, You have me bloody inspired." The two began running again, they decided to stick together.
Felix and Hermione were sat in the Echo Caves of the island, laying low there whilst the both of them rested. "You killed enough people to succeed your blood lust yet 'Mione?" Hermione smirked as she drew the her bow for the fifth time that night, shooting a boy she hadn't been introduced too. "Almost, how about you?" She turned to the boy, his hood was down revealing his pale skin. "I never had a blood lust, I haven't killed anyone." Hermione smiled, "Aw, how sweet. Felix is innocent." The boy playfully pushed her. "No, I'm just not a psycho!" Hermione pushed his back, "Am I the craziest friend, you've ever had?" Felix nodded as he played with the girls dagger.

Light filled the echo caves, causing Hermione and Felix to stand abruptly. "Sunrise!" Hermione jumped up excitedly, "We made it!" Felix shook his head at the overly excited girl. "Did you not think you'd make it?" She shook her head, laughing. "Honestly no."
The two walked out of the caves were they had spent half of their night. Hermione raised an eyebrow as she left the caves. "Sorry mate, missed your chance. Suns risen." That didn't stop the lost boy, the arrow was released from his bow anyway. Hermione stood still, "Cheaters never win." She muttered as the arrow flew towards her. Felix was screaming for her to move out of the way but she didn't. She stood by her words. And her words were correct. Luckily enough, the arrow was caught just in time before it struck her chest. "Suns risen Milo." Pan muttered as he snapped the arrow. He slowly made his way towards the boy. "Better look next time Laddie." Hermione watched, an evil smile making its way onto her face as Pan took the heart out of Milo's chest. "Take his life like he was to do to yours." Hermione strutted towards them. She turned to Felix who was stood in the distance, arms folded. "You won't have a next time Milo. Sorry mate." Hermione crushed the boys heart within an instant, dropping the ashes onto the floor. The girl had become heartless. And Pan loved it.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
