Hermione, still, stood hand in hand with Pan. Watching as he called for his shadow. In all honesty, the shadow terrified her. As did it terrify some of the boys, many of them running off in all directions, escaping the black wisp.
"Come on Hookette." Hermione rolled her eyes, "I told you not to call me that Peter." She sneered, "Touché." Hermione chuckled slightly, "Do you believe?" Hermione nodded, "Are you sure?" She rolled her eyes, "God dammit, will you go already? I'm getting pretty bored here in London!" Pan chuckled slightly, a dry laugh but it was still a laugh. Holding Hermione by the waist he flew towards the second star to the right. Sprinkling Pixie Dust over the lost boys as he went, motioning them to follow him.
--------------
Neverland was beautiful, although the island was dark and dingy, Hermione could see right through the image. She imagined beautiful sights, smiling as she did so. "Neverland's a dream reality love, it's not all fun and rainbows." Pan said as if he had read her thought. "Oh I know, I've heard stories."
The group of Lost Boys landed safely on the sandy beaches of Neverland. Some nervous; most excited for a new start. I bet you can guess which one Hermione was. "I'm going to search the island, take them to camp." Hermione watched as Pan left.
She walked alongside the tall boy from earlier, "Thanks for earlier by the way." She suddenly said, breaking the silence between the two. "For what?" He asked, the light from his torch showing his face. "Stopping me from falling into the fire." He shook his head, "It was nothing." Hermione shrugged, "What's your name anyways?" He turned away from her. "Alright then Scarface, be like that." She heard the lost boy chuckle, "Felix. It's Felix." She smiled. "Wasn't very hard now was it, Felix?" He shook his head, brushing past some leaves as he revealed a camp.

Hermione followed Felix, whispers erupting from the Lost Boys that had remained in camp. "A Girl?" "What was Pan thinking." "Girls are weak." Hermione glanced at Felix, waiting for him to approve what she was thinking. "A lost girl? Girls don't belong on Neverland!" Felix turned to Hermione, he smirked, nodding his head allowing her to do what she was intending.
Hermione pounced. She gripped the boy by the collar before throwing him to the ground. "Weak eh?" The boy nodded, smiling cockily. She grabbed the dagger from her belt, the glint of fear crossing the lost boys eyes for a split second. "How's this for weak?" she asked, repeating the same action she had previously done with Pan. "I belong here just as much as you do." The boy held her shoulders, "Girls don't belong here." he replied, his cockyness was starting to get on Hermione's nerves.
Hermione hadn't realised she had an audience. Pan had gotten back from his rounds and everyone's eyes where on her and the cocky lost boy. "Oh I do. I'll show you." The dagger had yet to be removed from his neck, blood was being drawn but not as much to inflict physical harm on the boy. "Well? We're all waiting Hermione." Hermione glanced at Pan. "Kill him."
The girl quickly stood up, the dagger remaining in her hand. "Kill him? Are you bonkers?!" Pan smirked wickedly. "Are you going to put up with his ways? You said you'd show him. So show him Lost Girl." The lost boys began to chant, "Kill him." Even the lost boy that was in the murderous situation was chanting.
"No." Hermione said, "I'm not killing anyone." The boys stopped chanting, Hermione stared daggers into the Lost Boy's back as he walked away from the girl. "Couldn't even kill me." Hermione could hear the fear in his voice. He was thankful he was still alive but he didn't want to show that he was. "But, like I said. You don't belong her. Cause you're weak!" Without thinking Hermione threw the dagger. The weapon hitting the boy straight in the chest, piercing his heart causing him instant death.

Hermione was mad, she carelessly walked over to the body of the boy. A few of the younger Lost Boys moved back as she did. Hermione bent down, taking her dagger from the boys body she wiped the oozing blood from the blade onto her white shirt. "I am not weak!"

In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
