Ranboo's POV:
We arrived at the shop awhile after walking, and I opened the small wooden door open for Tubbo.
"Thank you." He said and sweetly smiled up at me as he walked inside.
I walked in behind him and could see him already running to the display of donuts.
"Wow, you must be really hungry." I laughed, looking through the glass case with him.
Tubbo nodded without saying a word. He just continued to stare at the donuts in mesmerization.
"Pick out a couple and then we'll get some coffee." I began to pull out my wallet.
The small boy simply nodded again and began searching around for what he wanted. Meanwhile, I looked on the coffee menu to look for the drink I wanted.
After what seemed like hours of Tubbo being indecisive, he finally picked out 3 large donuts and a small mocha frappe.
We made our way to the front of the line we stood in and I pulled some money out of my wallet to pay.
Suddenly, Tubbo put his hand over my wallet and grabbed his out of 'his' hoodie pocket.
"You're not paying again." He demanded, shaking his head and getting out some money. "You always pay. Now it's my turn."
I laughed and quickly handed my cash to the employee before Tubbo could do the same.
"You absolute f(bleep)king d(bleep)khead." He looked up at me in disappointment.
I could hardly stop laughing. The look of sadness on his face would've made me feel bad if it weren't for the fact that the situation was hilarious with context.
I could see the cashier was giggling a bit, too.
I grabbed our stuff and headed towards the door. Tubbo ran close behind me.
"What the h(bleep)l, man?!" He hollered.

"What?" I chuckled, turning my head to look af him as I walked.
"Stop paying for everything!" He put his hands on his hips angrily.
"Be grateful." I jokingly rolled my eyes.
"Ugh.." He grumbled, letting his arms fall back down to his sides.
We continued walking in silence for a moment.
Tubbo eventually reached for my arm, making me stop walking and turn to look at him.
He was staring straight down at the sidewalk.
"Thank you.." He mumbled.
"Don't mention it." I smiled down at him. He looked up.
"No, I mean it. I appreciate you more than you know." Tubbo stood up on his tiptoes and kissed me on the cheek.
My eyes opened wide in shock. He'd kissed me many times, but it still always got me. I knew right then that I was noticeably blushing, frozen solid.
"I- uhm- of course, Tubbo.." I stuttered and tilted my head farther down.
Tubbo grabbed me by the hand and we continued to walk home.

Tubbo's POV:
Ranboo and I had been sat on his bed for an hour and a half watching South Park.
I turned my head to face Ranboo, who was still watching the TV.
"Are you tired yet, big man?" I asked with a rasp in my voice.
"Yeah." He replied quietly. "It's getting pretty late, too. We should probably try to get some sleep."
"Why? You got plans tomorrow?" I asked, smirking.
"Maybe." He smirked back.
We both stayed silent for a moment, staring at each other without even feeling awkward.
"Oh, uh.." Ranboo started. "I won't be here when you wake up tomorrow."
"What?" I frowned. "Why not?"
"My dad's taking me somewhere.."
"Where?" I asked, confused.

"You'll understand soon. Just trust me." He said.
It wasn't that I didn't trust him. I was just curious. I wanted to know where my future boyfriend would be going, early in the morning before I'd even be up.
"Ok.." I muttered, breaking our long lasting eye contact.
Ranboo reached his arm over to my shoulder.
"Hey." He almost whispered. "Don't worry about it. I promise I won't be seeing anyone other than my dad before I come home. Plus, there's a good reason why I'm going out. I know you'll like it." He smiled a warm smile that I could just barely see from the light of the TV.
"Alright, I trust you." I smiled back.
He brought his head up and kissed my forehead, ruffling my hair afterward.
I giggled and scooted close to him, tucking my head below his chin. He wrapped his arms around me.
I fell asleep to the voices of 2 young boys yelling, 'Oh, my God! They've killed Kenney!' 'You b(bleep)tards!'
