《A Tale of Two - Beeduo》A Tale of Two

Ranboo's POV:
I woke up to the feeling of someone's hand shaking my shoulder.
I peeked open my eyes to see my dad standing above me.
"Get dressed, bud." He smiled. "It's your day."
I sat up, smiling. I had suddenly remembered my plan. It made my heart feel warm.
He's right. It is my day.. I thought to myself, grinning from ear to ear.
I got out of bed and tiptoed to my closet, doing my very best to stay quiet. I didn't want to wake up the small boy sleeping peacefully in my bed.
I picked out a T-shirt and some sweatpants, along with a gray hoodie.
I went into the bathroom and quickly put on the clothes. When I was done, I creeked open the wooden door and slinked out of the restroom.
Before I left my bedroom, I turned to look at Tubbo.
I stared at him for longer than I intended to. I could've looked at his soft face for hours while listening to his small snores. I loved every little thing about him.
I then heard my dad calling my name from downstairs, which snapped me out of my daze.
I opened my bedroom door and sprinted down the dark-wood stairs, hearing them creek with every step I took.
I could see the door that led outside was open and a tall man standing on the porch outside of it.
I made my way towards him and we both walked to his small, white car.
Once we were both buckled into the seatbelts, my dad drove off.
"Hey, dad." I said. "Thanks for taking me. This really means a lot." I said simpering.
"Don't worry about it, kid." He replied. "I'm more than happy to do this for you."
After awhile of driving through hardly any traffic, due to the fact that it was 7 in the morning, we arrived at a small flower shop.
My dad and I got out of the vehicle and went into the store.
We were surrounded by colorful plants, big and small. Over in the corner stood an old lady behind a small, wooden counter.
"Well, hello there." She spoke. "How are you men doing this fine morning?" The lady asked in a welcoming tone.
"We're doing great, miss." My dad said, smiling back.
"Is there something I could help you look for?" She walked out from behind the counter, her gray hair blowing because of the fan that she stood near.
"Do you happen to have any yellow daiseys?" I asked, looking around the room.
"Well, sure we do." She answered. "They should be somewhere back here." She started walking behind all the shelves of flowers.
We followed her to the back of the shop and searched with her.
"Ah, right here." The lady picked up a bouquet of bright yellow daiseys and handed them to me.
They were perfect. I took them in my hands and all 3 of us walked back to the wooden counter.
"Say," The lady started, walking behind the register. "You given these flowers to someone you like?"

"Oh- uh, yeah." I stuttered. "It's this boy that I've liked for awhile."
"Well, I wish you the best of luck, young man." She smiled. "Don't even worry about paying."
"Huh? A-Are you sure?" I asked, my eyes widening.
"Go get that boy, son." She threw her fist in the air.
"Thank you!" I chuckled.
The lady simply walked to the back of the room. I could see there was a small refrigerator with coffees inside of it.
As she was reaching in the fridge to grab a coffee, I quickly ran to the counter and layed a 50 dollar bill in the middle of it.
"Let's go, dad." I whispered, running out the door.
My dad had only just walked out of the glass door by the time I was waiting at the car.
He made his way toward me and smiled.
"I'm proud of you, son." He patted my shoulder. "You did a good thing back there."
"She probably deserved it more than I did, anyways. Thanks, though, dad." I scratched the back of my neck.
We both got into the car and drove back to the house.
When we got inside, I stood in the living room and called Tommy's number.
"Dude, what the f(bleep)k are you doing up this early?" He grumbled, clearly just being awaken.
"I need I favor." I said. "I know it's on short notice, but trust me, I won't ask for anything ever again."
"Do you want me to come over?" He asked, sighing.
"Please?"
"Alright." He answered. "I'm on my way."
He hung up the phone and I couldn't stop smiling.
After about 10 minutes of waiting, I heard a knock on the door.
I opened it up to see a tired man with pajamas on and messy blonde hair.
"Hey, Tommy!" I whisper-shouted. "Thank you so much for coming. It means a lot."
Tommy nodded, drooping his head over.
"So, uh, in about 20 minutes, I need you to go upstairs and wake up Tubbo." I lightly clapped my hands together.
"What? Why?" He asked, confused.
"Because I'm doing something that I've wanted to do forever." I replied simply. "I need him to be at the park shortly after you wake him up. I'll be there when you 2 show up."
"Ohh, I see what's going on." Tommy laughed.
"Yeah.." I nervously chucked.
Tommy smirked
"We're gonna head out, now." I said, pointing to the door. "I'll see you in a bit."

Tubbo's POV:
I woke up to the words of, 'Come on, Tubbo. You need to get up.'
"Why?" I asked with my eyes closed.
"Because." I heard the voice of Tommy and opened my eyes.
"Tommy? What are you doing here?" I asked, confused. "And where's Ranboo?"
"He's not here. Come on, you need to get ready." Tommy pulled me out of bed.
"Ready for what?" I asked, unable to stop myself from being dragged out of bed.

"You'll see." He replied simply.
Tommy went into Ranboo's old closet and picked out a long-sleeved Green shirt with some light colored ripped jeans.
"Here," He handed me the clothes. "Go put this on."
I nodded slowly and unstably walked to the restroom.
Once I got changed, I stepped out of the bathroom to see Tommy waiting close by the door.
"So, Tubbo, I was thinking- how about we take a walk to the park?"
"This early?" I asked.
"Yeah." He replied with a smile. "You're my best mate, and it won't be long before Ranboo comes back."
I shrugged in agreement.
"Ok, let's go."
We'd been walking for a few minutes and were almost at the park before Tommy stopped me.
"Uh, before we get there, there's a bit of a surprise for you." Tommy reached into his pocket and pulled out a blindfold.
"Wait, what?" I jumped back.
"Just trust me." He put the blindfold over my head. "You'll really like this."
I was confused as to what was happening, but I just went along with it anyway.
"Walk with me. I'll guide you." Tommy put both of his hands on my shoulder and started walking forward.
"Ok.." I agreed nervously.
Soon enough, we reached the point where Tommy had stopped walking.
"Are we there?" I asked, unable to tell my surroundings.
"Yes." He replied. "Just stand right there for a moment."
Tommy's POV: (Just for a short moment)
I quietly scurried over to where Ranboo's dad was and stood next to him.
"I think we should get out of here." The man turned to me.
"What? Why?" I asked, not wanting to miss the huge moment.
"This is their special moment." He answered. "We should let them have that for themselves."
I looked down in thought. Maybe he was right.
"That is true.."
"There's a snow cone machine down the road." He said. "How about we go get some?"
"YES, PLEASE!" I yelled instantly.
The man laughed and waved me toward his small car.
Ranboo's POV:
My dad had texted me to let me know that he and Tommy had left.
I put phone away after reading the message and took a deep breath.
This is your moment, Ranboo. You've got this! I told myself, trying to calm down.
I walked toward the small, blindfolded boy and observed him for a moment.
He was wearing a large green shirt tucked into a baggy pair of light colored ripped jeans. He looked adorable. But then again, he always looked cute in my eyes.
I gulped and reached up with one arm to take off his blindfold. The other arm was behind my back, holding the yellow daiseys I had gotten earlier that morning.
Once the blindfold had been taken off of Tubbo, he blinked a few times before looking up at me.
I was wearing a black button-up shirt with a collar, along with some dark colored jeans. I also wasn't wearing my mask.
"Wha- Ranboo?" He was clearly confused. "What's going on?"
"Uhm.." I started. "I told Tommy to bring you here."
"Why?" He asked.
"So, Tubbo.." I tried not to stutter. "You know I love you a lot, and that I would do anything for you, right?"
Tubbo slowly nodded, not seeming to understand what was happening.
"I- uhh, I've wanted to make things official for a while now.. So.."
Tubbo just continued to stare up at me.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" I asked, immediately looking down afterward.
I peeked back up a moment later to see Tubbo's eyes opened wider than I'd ever seen them before.
"IS THAT EVEN A F(bleep)KING QUESTION?!" He yelled, beginning to cry. "YES!"
He jumped up and secured his arms around my neck.
I pulled him even closer to me and let him cry into my shoulder for awhile.
"You have no f(bleep)king idea how long I've waited for this.." He said, muffled into my shoulder.
I rubbed his back lightly without saying a word.
Suddenly, rain started pouring down on us.
"Wow." I said, unimpressed. "Of course, it has to rain today of all days."
Tubbo giggled quietly.
"No, no, i-it's perfect." He pulled away from the hug. "I like the rain." The small boy looked into the sky.
I stared at his mesmerizing face for a minute or so. He finally noticed that I was looking at him.
"What?" He chuckled.
"Nothing." I giggled back. "Just you."
We stood there in the same spot for awhile, just gazing into each other's eyes. It normally would've felt awkward, but it felt right.
I slowly closed my eyes, and Tubbo did the same.
We both leaned in to each other, our lips centimeters apart.
"I love you." I whispered before leaning fully into the kiss.
It lasted awhile, just like I wanted it to. Eventually, though, I pulled away.
Both of our eyes opened, almost at the exact same time.
"I love you, too." He smiled, starting to tear up.
We stayed silent for a moment, but I finally spoke up.
"Come on, let's get out of this rain before either of us get sick."
"Only if you let me on your shoulders." Tubbo grinned.
I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"Fineeee." I crouched down to let the boy on my shoulders.
He jumped up onto me and I made sure he was secure before standing up again.
"Thank you, Ranboo."
"For what?"
"For being you."
I laughed, and continued walking home, in the rain with the boy of my dreams just above me.
No, Tubbo. Thank you..
