When we pull up to the airport, I look around. It's small. I've never been on a plane or even in an airport before but I thought it would be bigger. More people. It's a small parking lot with only one other car beside ours. The airport building its self is also tiny, a one floor brick building that looks like it holds a room or possibly two. I've seen houses bigger than this. Behind the building is a giant steel hanger I assume holds the plane.

"It's a private flight." Jeff says seemingly to know what I was thinking.

No people. Well at least no extras. I slip out of the car and wait for Jeff. He pulls his bags from the trunk, setting them on the hood of the car. His head is turned down, eyes shut. He releases a deep sigh riddled with sadness. He face comes up, eyes flicking around me. Looking, but not really. Somethings bothering him.

The rattle of pills inside a bottle grabs my attention. "I don't want to do this to you Avery, but the doctors though it best." There's a slight pause, "It's sleeping pills. They.",he jesters to his self, "We didn't want you to." He stops tiring to find the right words. I save him the trouble.

"You don't want me to freak." I say plainly.

He nods. And I hold out my hand. Two little blue pills fall on the palm of my hand. Is amazing really how two small little pills could do such damage. I toss them back with out water. Watching light blue and a dark red flutter around Jeff. He's upset and angry.

The ribbons disappear as we step through the automatic glass doors leading to the airport. A gust of stale cool air swipes us in the face. There's not much here. A waiting area with dark blue chairs. A small cafe and a check in desk. That's it. Sorta of small right?

There's a lanky man behind the desk. He scrambles to his feet when his beady eyes land on Jeff. "Mr. Blackwell." The man inclines his head and I watch the frenzy of light green ribbons surround the old mans body. He's afraid. Terribly so.

I don't hear what's being said. My eyes are dropping. My body is getting heavier and heavier by the seconds. I start to lean off to the side. I don't want to hit the hard floor. "Jeff." My voice comes out as a whisper. I hear a "Damn." Then the little blue pills take me away.

I wake up slowly. Feeling cool leather under my hands. I wiggle my toes and fingers. Crack my neck. Nothing hurts. Jeff must of caught me in time.

"Ah. Bout time." Jeff's voice floats to my ears prompting me to open my eyes. "We're almost there."

I look around. We're in some type of SUV. It's done in black and silver. Has one of those touch screen in place of a normal radio. It's ridiculous if you ask me.

I look out the window and see trees. And more trees. And gravel. I'm in the middle of no where.

We come to a stop in front of a tall black iron gate, at least eight feet tall. I look left and right. It extends into a fence on either side going further than I can see. Another cage. Is it to keep people in or out?

Hearing beeps I turn to look at Jeff. He's typing on a keypad in beded into the little box, that stands car high . The gate slowly opens. A whisper of a sound as it glides across the entrance.

"I'll write down the code for you later." He says driving through the gate that closes just as quietly as it opened.

I give a small nod. He won't give me the code right away. I'll be watched closely for awhile. More than likely I'll never have it. Which is fine. I don't plan on going anywhere.

The tires crunches over the gravel as the car moves further away from the gate. Further into my new prison. At least it seems really open.

Every so often there's a turn off. I can't see any houses. Just a lot of trees. Twenty minutes later he makes a right. Following the gravel road that twists and turns. The narrow road turns into a small graveled lot. He parks, giving me a smile as he gets out of the car and I do the same.

The first thing I notice is the grass at the edge of the lot. It's so bright and green. It looks like something out of a fantasy. My eyes raise. I'm in a wide clearing with trees surrounding in. It's looks to be a perfect circle and in the middle is a huge three story log cabin. It has a massive front porch. Big bay crystal Windows, that takes up most of the front of the house. My eyes go up following the many Windows to what looks like to be another porch on the third floor. It's a beautiful place.

My feet move following Jeff to the side walk. "Lots of room."Jeff says cheerfully.

A tiny scream grabs my attention. "They're here. She's here."

A little girl is barreling down the porch steps.Brown pigtails flying about. Before Jeff can stop her, she slams into my legs. Her little arms locked tight around my knees. She lets go instantly. Takes several steps back.

Her sweet little voice comes out in a whisper, "Whats wrong with her daddy?" Big brown eyes never leaving my face.

Jeff sucks in a sharp breath, shoots me an apologetic look and squats down eye level with his little girl. "Nothing's wrong with her sweetie."

She shakes her little head slowly,"Daddy there is." She insists,"There's nothing their. She's hollow."

Jeff gives me a curious look. While I tilt my head to the side. Looking at his daughter. Wondering what she knows and how.

He turns his gaze away from me, back to her, "She's fine sweetie. Go find your mommy."

She nods, giving me one last questioning look and runs back the way she came.

"Sorry about Lilly. She's heard a lot about you and was just excited."

"It's okay."

I'm still looking after Lilly. She's little. Kids speak their minds. What does she know?

His hands rub across his face, "Come on. Let's get you settled in."

I step up onto the porch. Getting a full body shiver. Goose bumps breaks across my body as laughter reaches my ears. More people.

A deep growl comes from Jeff. He turns facing the trees to the left, stepping in front of me. He growled. Just like a dog.

Hearing the voices get closer. I lean a little to the side till I'm able to see. Three guys step out of the forest. Ones telling some kind of story. His hands moving around every which way. It must be funny. They sound like a bunch of hyenas.

"Oh Jeff you have to hear this story man." The guy with short brown hair chuckles out.

"Yeah. Dude." The one in the middle gives a nod.

"When you'd get back?" A gruff voice comes out from the left.

Tingles start racing down and across my skin. What the hell?

You know the feeling you get when your arm or legs fall asleep after setting certain ways. It tingles, shooting through your hole body. It's not painful neither is it comfortable. That's what I'm feeling, just my whole body is nothing but those spikes of tingles.

I step all the way out from behind Jeff, where he's no longer hiding me. All three takes notice. They promptly hush up and straighten out like soldiers.

"Just now."Jeff bites out. Then looks at me. I give him a shrug, turning my gaze back to the new comers.

Cocking my head. I examine them more closely. All three are built like Greek gods. Tall and muscular. The one with the gruff voice has dark black hair and thunder cloud grey eyes. There's something in his eyes I don't like.

The one in the middle is a little shorter than thunder eyes and not as built muscle wise. But still taller than me. His soft brown eyes have a shine to them like his sandy hair.

The last guy on the left is taller than thunder eyes, with dark brown hair and playful hazel eyes.

The tingles come back making me want to run my hands up and down my arms. While all three stare at me.

"Not the time boys." Jeff's voice booms out.

They give a small nod. Eyes still locked onto me.

The Sandy hair one takes a small step forward,"Is that..."

He's interrupted by a forth guy stepping into the yard. The guy immediately locks eyes with me. The tingling increases. I can see his muscles locking up with stress or maybe uncertainty. He's intimidating, slightly taller than the others with forceful bright jade green eyes and dark brown hair.

A frustrating sigh comes from Jeff as he throws his hands up, "Why are you all here?"

"Shelly said she needed help with something." Hazel eyes says smoothly. A smile curving his thin lips.

"Did she now."Jeff grunts out, "Stay put all of you."He points a finger at them, dropping it after all four gives a nod. Turing around towards the glass door he calls over his shoulder, " Come on Avery."

I linger a little longer. As the fourth guy moves up standing next to the one on the right. My eyes bounce back and fourth between the two. I think they might be brothers.

I rub my hands down my arms as the tingles seem to take over all other physical feelings.

Looking at all four guys. Watching them. Watching me. What makes them different from other people I wonder as my head once again tilts. Hazel eyes moves. Taking a step closer and opens his mouth. I turn around passing through the doorway before he could utter a word. I'm curious about what makes them different but not enough to stay and talk.
