Sol 30

The dragons are tough creatures. A couple of them have tried to track me down or stayed on my tail, but the assassin training came in, helping me to lose them in the chase. Once again, I have run into small herds or lone dinos and eliminated them, further progressing me on my quest.

' How long till I reach Alistar.'
{42 days}
'Guess I just keep running. I will get there eventually.'
'Actually, can you pull up the map for me as well?'
{sure}
'Getting across the Congo will not be easy; that is probably why it is going to take me so long to get there. There has got to be a faster way.'

'Yes'
'Can you mark the general location on my map, please
{Yes}
{You are part of a small mountain range to the north. Nun of the mountains should exceed 3000 feet tall. It will take about a day to get to the location of the dragons.]
'Sounds good.'
I started to run in the prescribed location, moving faster than I ever have. The boost in my stats must be coming into play now. Natures blessing a good skill. It will be hard for me to get stats as I get stronger.
'If my stats are right now that of a pro athlete, I assume at an Olympic level I wonder what it will be like when I hit 30 in strength. How much will I be able to deadlift? A lot probably.'
I kept up my pace for a long while, and soon, I could discern the mountains and their snow-covered peaks.
'it's been such a long time since I have seen snow. It is good to see it again. I am excited to be able to jump into it again.'
As I climbed the mountains, the temp started to drop. Eventually, I got to a valley that leads into the mountain range.
'I assume it is spring or summer here because if it was winter or fall, the amount of snow here should be monumental.'
As I kept running. I ran by beautiful lakes and springs the were perfect navy blue and were stunning.
I kept moving, soon reaching the base of the mountain marked on the map.
It was the biggest mountain I had seen, yet it was probably around 3000 feet tall.
Hot, nearly as tall as some of the mountains I had seen in my past life.
A light fog covered the snow-covered peak giving the mountain a dark, scary look.
I started up the mountain. About halfway, I ran into snow. It started thin and was easy to move through. By the time I got three quarters up, it was so thick and hard to move through that every time I tried to put my shoe on the ground, it broke through the snow pushing three feet it the ground. Letting the snow on top fall into my shoe.

I was freezing, and my feet were dying. Sadly I couldn't purchase a pair of real boots from the system since I wasn't there yet.
I reached a snow-covered plateau on the side of the mountain, With a cave going deeper into the mountain.
'I guess this is where the dragon young are, and the parents are out hunting. Come to think of it; it must be hard hunting right now. I saw barely any game on my way over.'
I put myself on the plateau side so that it would be hard to see my, but I could still see what is happening on top of the plateau.
I buried myself in snow, only letting my head poking out of the top. Hoping that The dragons that come don't notice my existence.
I sat and waited.
'hey system, how long have I been here.'
{7 hours 43 minitues}
'Jesus'
'How long will those dragons be out hunting or whatever they're doing.'
I froze. I could feel the find fly going crazy, almost as if a massive dragon's powerful wings were stirring the wind even more.
Two massive Figures descended from the sky, alighting on the plateau.
I didn't dare move a muscle; one dragon, the bigger one, let loose a terrible roar that shook the marrow in my bones.
The bigger one snapped at the smaller one and started to walk into the cave.
'Hey, System, can you show me their stats.'
{Snow Wraith
Weight:900 pounds
Wingspan: 48 feet
Length: 30 feet
Abilities: Thermal vision, Adapted to blizzards, Blending in with the snow, Gripping claws and tail spikes on ice, Burrowing through the ice
Threat: SSS}
'ok, from the sound of the quest, the bigger one will attack the smaller one, presumably the male. That will be my time to move and aid the female in killing the male. The only question is how and how long till they start to fight.'
{You have approximately 17 hours till they start to fight}
I thought it over for probably 2 hours. Never moving from my spot.
'The best I can come up with is the same plan I had with the velociraptor. Except for this time, I would have to more careful, even though I will have help. This beast is far more dangerous than any others I have come across.
'equip boned armor, Katana, kyoketsu-shoge, and the Large ax.'
I started to move, making my way to the top of the cave entrance.
The cave had a small lip hanging over top of it, and I set myself up on top of that.
I sat there waiting, hyping myself up, getting mentally prepared to kill and be killed.
Throughout all of my time in this world, I realized something, Fighting is the trade of life experiences, but if you step into the ring and aren't prepared to die, you will lose. Something has to be on the line, or you won't put your all into it. (A/N: Baki)
'Well, let's wait. The game will begin soon.'
[2 hours later]
Suddenly the mountain shook, rousing me from my zoned out state.
I prepared all my gear, hoping they would exit the cave.
Looking down, I saw a grey shape fly out from the cave. A heavy fog starts to descend on the mountain.
The shape starts to stand; It is the female dragon! Booming footsteps start to sound coming out of the cave, and I see a grey head starting to come out of the cave.
'This fog is to my advantage I can use it to sneak attack while the female takes the direct attacks.
"It's go time." I mutter under my breath.
Unlike last time I don't make any mistakes. I jump into the air heading to the last time flipping when I am at eye level with it; I shoot my kyoketsu-shoge Right at its eyes.

The words repeated themselves over and over again, forcing him to answer without the chance of taking it back. Armed with a borrowed sword and cheap armor that looked like wood, he said aloud without hesitation, “Yes!” The altar hummed, a green light flickered in the surroundings, and Tus ceased to exist.
