《The Assassin Before Time》C3 Into the New Land

'Hey, system, can you open the map.'
{opening map}
'mmm.. so it looks like I will be soon entering another clearing lets hope this time there are easier to deal with dinosaurs there.
So I will have to move out of Sudan into South Sudan, then on D.R. Congo, and last into Angola, which is right next to the Atlantic Sea. From there, I will have to use the boat I will get as a reward to cross the Atlantic and then head into the mountains and hopefully meet the people who live in the town.
Well, now that I have the route all planned out, I think it would be best to get a move on. When I look around this dark forest, it gives me the chills, and I know that I have o move on fast or there could be some creature lurking here that I don't know anything about. So I start to sprint, and with my second wish, I don't need to breathe, so I can keep sprinting without getting tired.
When running through the forest, I see all manner of creature. Luckily with my silent run from assassins creed, I can run quietly without getting noticed. ' if I were to get caught, I don't think I would make it through the forest alive. The creatures I saw in there were terrifying. I don't know what archaeologists were doing their whole life. Still, they missed so many prehuman creatures I am starting to think they were keeping all of the dinosaurs from the public, which worries me considerably because if they missed or didn't talk about these kinds of things, what else is there out there that I don't know about.
After an hour or two of running, I see the light in the distance, just barely peeking through the curtain of the forest. As I get closer, it started to get bigger. I know that I am about to make the clearing shown on the map feature of the system. As I am about 50 yards away, I start to slow down, making a slower approach to make sure there isn't something terrible waiting on the other side of the last few trees.

To my great surprise; there are about 100 to 150 small dinosaurs in the area.
'hey system, what are those creatures?'
{Tyrannosaur: Dilong
Weight:25 pounds
Threat: D
Description: The king of the dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex, measured 40 feet from head to tail and weighed 7 or 8 tons—but its fellow tyrannosaur Dilong, tipped the scales at 25 pounds, an object lesson in how plus-sized creatures tend to evolve from wee ancestors. }
'Man, these things are for the slaughter, and since they are so weak, I might as well start to get some exp.
I pull out my kyoketsu-shoge and Katana, preparing myself to surprise attack from the cover of trees. Then an idea hit me, I started to walk back into the forest searching for some small prey.
I didn't want to go too deep into the forest so I wouldn't encounter some of the larger creatures. About 200 yards in, I found a large pigeon-like bird sitting on one of the branches. I snuck up on the bird using silent movement, making sure to stay in the shadows. The bird slowly started to open its wings, like it was about to take off. I quickly shot my Kyoketsu-shoge at it, hitting it right in the neck, letting it fall onto the ground.
I walked up to the bird, looking at it.
'what kind of bird is this system.'
{Ibermesornis
Weight: 2 pounds
Threat: F
Description: The Cretaceous period birds weren't any bigger than their modern counterparts, The Pigeon. However, this specific bird was bigger than most.}
{Gained 0 Exp, for killing an Ibermesornis}(A/N: It's weak, common on)
'Uh, Weird'
I pick up the bird taking it back to the edge of the forest. Looking at the dead bird. I looked up, seeing the Dilongs were marching along doing nothing. I gave the bird a weight test the hurled it into the center of the pile of dilongs. It turned into an all-out war zone, each dilong snaping at each other, not letting any of the others get to it while also trying to get to it first.
I snuck up on the closes one and dispatched it with a slice from the katana. Quickly moving to the next, I did the same. I was able to dispatch about half their number in this time, but eventually, one managed to finish the bird off. Surprisingly, they didn't kill each other in the process, but once they finished off the bird, they all looked at me standing, surrounded in half their brethren's blood. They quickly surrounded me. We stood there staring at each other I could see the notification of the kills I had.

{57 tyrannosauri: dilongs killed, 57 exp rewarded}
we were both waiting for the other to make a move. We waited. One took a step out into the ring, and immediately, I lashed out with my kyoketsu-shoge, striking it right into the neck. It feels over dead. The others looked at it then at me and charged. The fastest one reached me in no time at all. With its big head and eyes, it looked comical, but no the less with an efficient chop, I took its head off. The next one reached, and it got a stab in the heart. I swung around and put a dagger in the eye of the next. They were starting to surround me, so I focused on the right side, cutting, slashing, and stabbing my way through. Their number was down by three quarters. With around 30 left, I was in bad shape. With only 60 HP left, I dashed the forset. Once I entered the forest, the dilongs didn't seem to want to follow, so I climbed a tree and stood there looking at them move back and forth in front of the trees.
{You killed 29 tyrannosauri: dilongs. you are rewarded with 29 exp}
'system is it possible to convert gold into system coins}
{It is possible, but every five gold is worth 1 system point and could possibly change.}
'Is it possible to get an emo hammock from the store?'
{yes, there will be a penalty; the next item you buy will be tripled, and then so would the next purchase you make before level 10. They would stack}
'ok'
{what color}
'black'
{here are you choices:
Regular Hammock: 1p
Double Hammock:2p
2 six-foot Hammock ropes:2p
2 fourteen foot hammock ropes:4p}
'Get me the regular and the fourteen.'
{that will be 25g. Are you sure}
'yes'
{you received:
Regular Hammock
2 fourteen foot hammock ropes}
I strung them up between two trees look out toward the clearing watching the Dilong. They were eating there fallen, which was grossing me out to no end, but I guess they have to eat right.
As the sun started to go down, I still watched, and it didn't look like they were going to move on. As the sunset, the 29 remaining Dilongs went to sleep. I want to take advantage of their stupidness, took down the hammock, and stored it in the system crept down from the tree. Towards where they slept and killed them all in their sleep, and I started to run again, toward the route I had set during the forest.

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar.The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more.The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn.But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore.The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore.They don't know what really happened. They were never there.They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone.But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements. The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
