Eric struggled with his bondages, screaming to anyone who would hear until he could stream no longer.
Encapsulated in the silence and endless white Eric drew closer and closer to loosing his sanity. Suddenly there was a sound a part of the white split to reveal a door, the professor walked in with that insufferable grin on his face with both arms behind him.
Taking slow but confident steps he arrived close to Eric watching him with interest.
The professor: “X-1, how are we doing?”
Eric: “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!” Eric tugged at his restraints as he snarled at the professor who was but an arm’s length away.
The professor: “Doing well I see. You see I’m here for the same reason I was before, we have some blood samples but things would go even smoother if you cooperate”
Eric: “I’ll never help you.” Eric spat at his feet.
The professor looked down at his feet, before looking back at Eric that unnerving smile still present on his face.
The professor: “Never, such a strong word. I have something to show you I think you will be inclined to change your mind after.”
Saying so the professor, brought his arms from his back revealing the seek black tablet in his arms. Eric trained his eye on the screen, wanting to what exactly the professor thought was enough to change his mind.
On the screen the image of Elise alongside Rose in a white room similar to his own was shown, both of them were unconscious and had yet to awaken. Eric’s heart tightened seeing the image on the screen, he was well aware of the man before himself and knew that the girls were in danger. Eric opened his mouth but was unable to utter a word.

The professor: seeing the look on Eric’s face his grin got even wider, “are you wondering where the agents are, why didn’t they protect them?”
With that he provided the answers as the scene on the screen changed to show a split screen. On the right side was Valarie, she was chained to a wall with a trail of blood from the corner of her lip alongside some bruises on her face. On the left was Agent Michaels, who was locked in a different place with his hand chained to the wall as well.
He was in a relatively good condition with a few bruises here and there, both agents were knocked out.
The professor: “you see X-1, no one can stop me. We are both adults here so there is no need to go through the old routine, so… what say you?”
Eric grit his teeth, clenching his feet he stared the professor in his eye and if looks could kill the professor would be six feet under. A minute after Eric relaxed his fist.
Eric: “fine, just… don’t hurt them, please.”
The professor: “I’m a man of my word.”
As his words ended four people in white came in to undo his restraints.
In Valarie’s cell, she awoke slowly squinting taking in her surroundings. She was stunned for a moment before she remembered past events, fighting the masked Demi-human. Remembering everything she tried moving but was stopped brining her attention to her arms which were chained above her to a wall.
Taking a quick look at her self all her tools and weapons were gone as she had expected, she turned to face the camera at the corner which was watching her every move.
Her mind went into overdrive as she thought of what had happened and where she was, the demi-human had taken her out then judging from the lack of men coming over to interrogate her after she awoke, probably found the rest.

They were then placed in separate cells, but the cells are probably close to one another if anything Elise and the child are probably farther away. The professor would use them to guarantee the smooth co-operation of Eric.
In the short span of a few minutes, Valarie had come up with a plan of action. Using her index finger to force against her thumbnail she managed to remove a small, barely visible pin which she hid there incase of emergencies.

I have so much planned for this that it should be fun and entertaining for readers who enjoy the LitRPG genre as much as I do. Please join me as I recount the tale of a man who becomes a legend — both in-game and out of it. I plan to attempt a weekly update schedule. Upload Sunday evening(for me). Warning! This story will involve some amount of cussing to help add some realism and some insinuated sex that will fade to black the moment the fun begins. I am hoping to mostly keep this Rated PG-13 with maybe a few Chapters going rated-R due to language.

Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

8 193Monstrous Path
This story is both dark and lighthearted, it will have a lot of deaths and gore scenes but not just for the sake of being edgy or something like that. Every being comes from someone’s life — a womb, an egg, the world, a God, and from itself. Then what about me? I came from a container, so what does that make me? Am I still a being? “I do not know — I want to understand — why?” This was my driving force to live when I opened my eyes, I had no need for food, I only needed to satiate my curiosity. But as I learned early on, life was not as simple as it seemed. Note: The Characters in this world would always have a reason for living, and the world moves not just because of the MC. This would also have a lot of tearjerking scenes (or so I would hope) Culture, Race, Government, and Language can and will be different and though some Races like Elves and Dwarves are present, please do not think that they are the same as every other.
