The venomous cloud that Cattleya released covered the town, those in it died due to the venom, except for one man.

Cattleya: That armor was enchanted with great resistance to venom, but still it affected you to the point that the only thing you can do is stand.

Elluet could not move or speak, blood can be seen dripping from his helmet.

Cattleya: All of you are the same, you think that because you were given a second life by the gods, you will be invincible, Heroes, that this world is for you to make real your fantasies.

She closes her eyes and raise her arm pointing at Elluet.

Cattleya: But no.

Then she commands a vine to decapitate Elluet.

Leaving the corpse behind Cattleya resume her search for her daughter, she reaches the church that is covered in vines and flowers.

Cattleya: So she set a refuge for those humans.

Orchid: Mother!

Orchid appear from the top of the building.

Cattleya: Who are you?

Orchid(S): So you realize… I am Samanta my soul was brought into this body by the contract with a Witch.

Cattleya: An out-world, reincarnated by a Witch… Who would do that? Wait don’t answer I can imagine who was. So what she asked you to do?

Orchid(S): To free her sister Marcelle.

Cattleya: Marcelle? The Denea Queen.

Orchid(S): Denea Queen.

Cattleya: The queen of those like us. We that aren’t humans neither monster, those are the deneas.

Orchid: Mom do you have any information about how to free her?

Cattleya: The tone of you voice changed so as your eyes, you must be my child. *Orchid nods* Unfortunately I don’t know anything about her seal, just the stories my mother told me about her.

When the venomous cloud disperses Orchid released the church from her vines to let the others out.

The villagers are worry about what will happen to their town, Cattleya told them that she will return the forest and the village to their normal state, she also asks that those that will continue to travel with her daughter met her at the town entrance tomorrow morning.

At Victoria’s home, Ryckna and the others were discussing about how to proceed from now on.

Victoria: Those that will continue to travel with Orchid, why do she say it like that.

Ryckna: I don’t know, but I will go, there is still too much to learn about alraunes.

Bors: I have a bad feeling about it, even if Orchid is a good girl her mother just killed a hundred of adventurers.

Victoria: It was self-defense, she just wanted to recover her missing daughter.

Gustav: Don’t try to justify a monster actions.

Orchid: We aren’t monsters…

Orchid appeared behind Gustav.

Gustav: Then what are you?

Orchid: We are Deneas.

Ryckna: Deneas, it the first time I heard about it.

Orchid: That is why we are here, we still want to travel with you, so I will explain everything I can.

Samanta explained the fact that she is an out-world, but her soul is sharing the body with the original Orchid, and that she needs to find a way to release Marcelle who can be known as the Denea Queen, and told them the same history that Cattleya tell her.

“The Legend of the Denea Queen”

“In an ancient time the deneas where oppressed by both nulls and beast, they were hunt and their parts used as materials like those used from monsters.”

“The deneas decide to live together in settlements to protect themselves from humans, until one day the humans gather a raid force to attack the settlements, so they fall one after another.”

“When the last one was under siege the wish of those that seek salvation was granted, the moon turned red and crimson lines appear in the sky with them the queen rise.”

“The queen used her power to repel the invaders and created a kingdom for deneas to live, the kingdom grew and expand allowing the deneas to live peaceful.”

“But the humans gathered twelve warriors, they held the power of the elements themselves and were known as ‘Kaisers’, even with their power the queen didn’t fall.”

“It was when a warrior, who was gifted the power of the twelve, that the queen loses the battle but the warrior who was a kind heart decide to not kill the queen as it understood the reason of their fight.”

“In the end the twelve betrayed the warrior and used their powers to seal the queen in a different dimension.”

Ryckna understood the reason behind Cattleya words, if Samanta releases Marcelle from her prison a war between humans and deneas could occur once more, but there was something more to that.

Ryckna: This Marcelle and the twelve Kaisers, its somehow similar to a legend told by a traveler artist called Jody, but in that legend is called the Dark Queen.

John: And there is the fact that the witch that bring you here refers to Marcelle as a sister, meaning that she is a witch and if the legend is true then…

Bors: …humans can defeat witches.

Everyone remained silent by a moment due to this new information, until now it was almost a rule that humans could never defeat a witch, but this legend tells a different story.

Orchid(S): This is how it is, I don’t know what will happen when I release Marcelle, maybe a war starts maybe no, maybe we become enemies maybe no, but I have to do it more for Orchid and Cattleya sake than for myself.

Victoria: Why?

Orchid(S): *with a sad face*I already died once and I don’t care if I stayed like that, but the witch that bring me will make this body disappear if I don’t do it, *while taking her spear and a determined look in her eyes* and I cannot allow this girl to die because of me.

Orchid then returns to her mother side leaving the other alone to think what they will do whit this information.

The next morning.

Ryckna and Victoria decide to continue to travel with Orchid, Bors and Mirna will take John back to Straida for him to rest and recover from his injuries, Kori and Gustav will wait at the town for their new instructor to come for them.

Gustav: You don’t have to stay with me.

Kori: We are similar Gustav, we both can’t grow in strength with someone like Ryckna, she only pursues knowledge, but we need power to fulfill our duties.

Gustav: What is your duty?

Kori: To help a friend of mine in his quest to free this world of monsters.

Gustav: I don’t know who you talk about but I am sure we can be friends.

Meanwhile Ryckna, Victoria and Orchid are heading towards the Loroi Empire to search for Jody.

Victoria: How are we supposed to enter Loroi if they don’t allow scholars?

Ryckna: There is a blind spot in the Naga Forest?

Victoria: Are we going to that place?

Ryckna: *smiling* Yes.
