《Free》Chapter 11: Sudden Enrollment! Part III

I looked around, everyone were standing still, they looked confused, most of them. Meditation? What does that have to do with magic?
"For someone to understand and use magic, they must first go through the basics" he said.
"Let us now begin by meditating, slowly I will go through step by step our goal" he finished.
This sounds..
..Promising, though why did we have to change the teacher to the founder of this place.
"I would like everyone to sit in a pose resembling a frog, hands on the knees and your bottom touching the ground" he said.
As soon as he said that everyone quickly did as he said.
He waited a couple of minutes, until everyone had done what he wanted.
"Now then, everyone shall close their eyes, and think of something safe, somewhere or someone who you are safe with" he said.
I closed my eyes.
Who do I trust?
What place do I feel trust?
Aha! The village.
I built an image of the village, however it was very vague.
All I could think of was my house and the main entrance, everything else was vague and dull.
It doesn't look..
..Safe.
I could feel my head starting to hurt, how does the village look like?
I have lived there all my life, how can I not..
Build a good picture of it.
I could hear the teacher walking through the room.
I could hear him talking not too far from me.
"Why have you not awakened the portal to the spirit world? Looks like you don't have magic" he said.
I tried to keep calm and to my self, but I couldn't help it.
I opened my eyes and looked at him.
The student he was talking to was sweating and didn't open his eyes yet.

The teacher, his grin, it was dirty.
He was menacing, scary to look at.
I closed my eyes quickly and tried again.
Come on!
I can build a picture!
Slowly, the vagueness disappeared and I could see the place clearly.
The teacher was getting closer to me.
I could feel my head becoming hotter and hotter.
Sweat was running down my face.
I could feel his menacing aura.
It was as if I was getting burned just by him closing in on me.
Luckily, the image was complete after a couple of minutes.
I could see the village clearly, as if I was there right now.
But..
Nothing is happening, what is supposed to be happening?
"Hmm, I hope everyone have arrived to another place, somewhere only the mind can offer" he said.
Somewhere only the mind can offer?
I tried harder and harder, nothing was working.
The spirit world? Portal? How do I awaken this?
Then I felt it.
His menacing aura, was standing in front of me.
"You too huh?" he said and walked away.
Slowly the village became vague again.
The only thing I could think about is what has happened the last day.
The sword, crow, Ninja.
The bandits, the slum area.
It all appeared in my head like a flash.
Suddenly.
Something, a small light appeared.
It grew larger and larger, the light was blue and gray.
It was an oval shaped light, almost like some sort of mini tornado.
It grew larger, and suddenly.
It banged with a white flash.
I opened my eyes, to..
..light blue sky, dull and dead nature around me.
I was, floating.
I looked around.
I was, in the middle of nowhere.
There was only a mountain, with some kind of hole as an entrance.
I slowly fell down and started walking around.

The tree's were dead and gray.
The ground didn't have grass, bushes or any nature at all.
I looked over at the mountain.
Some kind of dark colored liquid was making its way from the entrance.
I walked slowly to it.
I could feel, some kind of aura.
It was, more menacing than the teacher's aura.
There was barely any light showing what's inside.
The liquid grew bigger, almost like a puddle.
I walked on it, it wasn't that pleasant.
I looked into the entrance.
What I could see, was a big, shadowy figure.
It was hanged and chained in the shape of a cross.
there was spikes, all over its body, going in from one side and out from another with the same liquid covered on them.
Without much thinking I found out it was blood.
I quickly jumped up from the puddle.
"You.." I heard.
"You must be... My spirit holder.." the voice continued.
It came from inside the entrance.
"I have.. Finally found someone" the creature said.
Spirit holder?

Unspoken is a book filled with poems and songs I've made throughout my life. Each chapter will be either a song or poem. They are similar to what many of you have experienced in life... featuring love, heartbreak, loneliness, etc. These are all the emotions I was never able to let out so I chose to write them out on paper.
