POV – Father (1)

I am the ruler of the country called Japan, Hikari Sato. And today, my daughter named Hikari Yuki was born. She was beautiful and was shining with happiness. We believed that she will grant the people of this country happiness and relieved.

We were exited but I was also irritated. If she became beautiful, Many men will want to marry her. I won’t let that happen of course. I want Yuki to marry her loved one. Even if it is a girl. I will protect her from disgusting men who only wants her because of her looks and position in society!

She just turned 2 years old a month ago and she’s been acting pretty weird… She has been going to the library everyday to read books… No 2 year old should be able to do that. I was suspicious, but I just thought that she was a genius and I’ll just confront her about this in a few years.

My daughter turned just 5 this year. And today she asked me a weird question. She asked me where the magic grimoires and books are stored at. I explained to her that only children that are 6 years old can use magic as children under 6 doesn’t have the necessary mana capacity that is needed to use magic.

However, it seemed like she forgot about this as a few hours later my wife called me and told me something surprising. Yuki used magic, and not just ordinary magic. But a powerful one at that. We were concerned about it at first. So, we decided to hire a mage that can teach her magic.

She has the potential to become a mage so we wanted her to use that potential to become a powerful mage. After a few days, the mage finally arrives. Her name was Mika. She was an excellent mage. She could use level 4 water magic. There are only 3 people who could use level 4 magic in any attributes that is currently alive today. And so I was surprised that my wife was able to get her to become Yuki’s teacher.

Apparently, she was also curious about Yuki, so she decided to take on this job as her teacher.

A week has passed since Mika became Yuki’s teacher. She had called me and my wife to a room to talk about something about Yuki. She said that Yuki was able to use all 7 elements. We were shocked. Even our founder couldn’t use all elements. So how was our daughter able to use all of them?

We were scared and worried. What if this information becomes known to the public? There’s a very big chance that she will be in danger if that happens. So, we talked about it some more and came up with a solution.

Yuki needs to learn advanced attack magic and swordsmanship. Yuki will learn magic up till the age of 10 and will also start learning swordsmanship in the age of 8. We wanted her to be able to defend herself. We believed that she will be in higher risk of being in danger if she’s in this castle. So we decided that she would need to become an adventurer or at least be away from the aristocratic world.

A few months then passed and I was informed by my wife and Mika that Yuki made something weird. She made something called “cake”. Of course, I asked her what it was and she let me taste them too. I was surprised, it was very delicious! I asked her if she would be able to make this for her 6th birthday and she said yes.

I am getting more curious though… How was she able to come up with this and the other thing that my wife mentioned, a dessert called “chocolate”.

A few months has passed and it is now Yuki’s 6th birthday. We were finally going to find out what her status is. But first we had to celebrate her birthday by throwing a party. We had invited all nobles. And as I expected, many pests came flocking near her. But Yuki did an amazing job turning them all down.

After the party Yuki held a performance. She danced and sang while using magic. It was crazy. She pulled off things previously known to be impossible. Like using magic from air and not coming from her palms and using multiple spells at once. Not just that, she all did this chantless…

After calming down the guests, everything was finally over. Now we are about to find out about her status. I called her in and told her to use the magic item that is used to see other’s statuses. And what we saw was shocking.

She was stronger than me, my wife and Mika-san combined. I immediately ordered the priest to keep this information classified. After calming down, me, my wife, Mika and Yuki all went to a room and asked her question.

Here we found out something shocking. Yuki was a reincarnated. And what she described was very similar to the world that was described by the founder of this country. Could it be? That Yuki and our founder was from the same world?

Yuki then started crying, so we decided to comfort her. We will never abandon our daughter. We swore to protect you from the very day you were born. No matter what you are. You are our daughter and that fact will never be changed.

After this we asked a few more questions until the meeting ended. However, there was one though left in my mind. Why was she given this much power by the goddess.

This question will never be answered.
