Needless to say, the commissioner was furious . Not only did he reject the idea he tried to keep me from talking to any of the higher ups about it.

That didn’t stop Harrold from taking action on his own though. Apparently when the mayor woke up, she found a note and a fruit basket on her desk explaining, Mr. Gosbi’s terms and complaintd about how unprofessional the commissioner was in handling the situation. It also went on to ask for ME to be his assistant from here on out as I behaved better than the commissioner.

I don’t know what surprises me more, the fact that he trusts me enough to be his “assistant” or the fact He could get out this whole time and he never even bothered. It seems like the mayor took him up on his offer. This morning the commissioner seemed even more upset literally pouting at his desk.

I guess I’m about to be more involved in this case than I thought. I just hope Gosbi’s “reincarnation” wasn’t an excuse to escape jail. At this point I’m planning on meeting “Holmes” in the afternoon to pick him up and talk further.
