It's my first day on the job, and I’m already ready to quit. I joined the force to make the world better but I never thought something like this would happen. That’s life I guess, you think your going to catch a jay walker, maybe hand out a ticket or two, stop a robber if your real lucky, then you’re told you’re being put on a murder case. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an officer, it’s my job to catch killers. I don’t know why it just seemed… impossible. I don’t even know how-

Let me start from the beginning.

A man by the name of Pete Douglas was found dead in a parking lot, by Marco's peer, not a normal death eather. Most people are fine with just a gun, or a knife. This guy was ripped in half! I mean it! We have everything from the chest down, but his head, neck, parts of his arms and a little bit of his chest, gone. The weirdest part though, his blood, it was green, yes, green! According to the commissioner, this is the twelfth victim to have an odd blood coloration. I don’t know who's doing this, but god help us if we don’t find them.

I don’t know if I’m ready for this. I could barely handle Jim getting a papercut last week. I guess I should try though, after all, it's part of the job. I just wish we had a lead.
