John rushed immediately after the seal was broken, but when he had come two thirds from the people in the prison were dead, he didn’t know how Earth had managed to kill so many so fast but he was glad that at least there were some people left alive, cause he knew that if earth, no, Earthquake wanted to do it, he could kill them all in less than a second.

John[Earthquake I know you are angry, but please calm down and hear me out]

Earthquake expression didn’t change at all, if anything he was smiling even more.

Earthquake [I am calm, you know I am, you also know how I feel so you cant really tell me to forgive them as well]

John knew that earth was right, he also knew that there was almost zero chance of convincing him but he had to try none the less, he couldn’t let him go through with what he wanted to do.

John [Yes, I know, but I have a deal for you, will you please hear me out]

Earthquake was completely indifferent but decided to entertain John for a while.

Earthquake [Ok go on, I am listening ]

John smiled, he never thought that Earth would say that at all.

John [Its simple, as long as the gods kill only half the humans I would take you to the god realm, what you say would you give up with exterminating them and just come back ]

Earth knew John, so he knew that John who hadn’t taken any God back until now truly wanted them to go back, but that also meant something else, he really didn’t plan to let him go through with his plan.

He moved two fingers and two mountains appeared out of the earth and crushed john in between them, but he knew that wasn’t enough so he made half of the huge dessert including the land they were standing on as the middle bent and crush the mountains like a closing bear trap , then he made his fingers form a fist and the closed bear trap earth, and the mountains in it started to make crushing noises and become smaller and smaller, but to make sure he slammed with his foot at the grownd and stones and dust started to flout forming a millions needles and send them into the mountains and bear trap that were now condensing to the form of a big bolder, he hoped he could harm the Guardian with the condensing, but threw the spears to make sure, he stretched his fingers and pressed them into a fist even harder this time and the bolder who couldn’t condense anymore made strong cracking noise and turned into dust.

Even after all that John wasn’t even scratched, whats more he didn’t even have dust on him which was even more incredible considering that he was absolutely surrounded by earth until a moment ago after all.

John looked around for a second and spoke.

John[I knew you were thoughtful but I didn’t expect you to send the person who freed you away before starting to attack, if he was here the earth beartrap with the size of two cities would have crushed him as well, I didn’t expect you to save a human ]

Earthquake smile started turning into a frown

Earth[he is not from this world so I have no intention of hurting him, he isnt responsible after all]

John [you know that the people who sealed you are long dead right, so there is no one left alive responsible]

Earth smile disappeared completely, a dark expression took its place.

Earthquake[no they haven’t, their children, their grandsons and daughters are here, my anger wont disappear till their blood does, they bear the sins of their grandfathers so they will bear my anger as well, and whats more you know that there is still some completely responsible alive right, you]

Earthquakes eyes slashed with anger[if anything the one most responsible is alive, isn’t that right John. You helped them, they could have never sealed us alone, you are the only god who could come to earth and mask his presence at the same time to make him unnoticeable for us, do you have something so say in your defense]

John[They found the Silv..]before he could finishes from the earth beneath him a metal tiger head with the inside looking like blender appeared and shallowed him.

Earthquake wanted to make sure that this time there will be damage so he made the tiger head go down, to the center of earth and throw itself into magma and be complete melted but before he could fully smile he heard a voice from behind him.

John[You do know that something like that could never hurt me right]

Earthquake knew that it wouldn’t kill him, but he really thought that it could hurt him a little, we are talking about this planets center, no human could pull it but that place could kill even average strong gods and hurt even those stronger, except for the gods with the highest heat resistance like inferno, even after that to not leave anything behind, the guardian really was the strongest, but he couldn’t back off.

Earthquake[yes I knew, but If you think that I would buy that silver ticket bullshit you don’t know me well enough ]

John [no, I know you and I know you know me, that’s why I made the deal for you to come back that’s my way of saying sorry as well]

Earthquake [please, maybe its that way for the rest who I doubt want to exterminate the humans like me, but for me that deal is so you can make me leave the lower realm, do you really think I don’t know what you think at times like this, I know the rules, if I decide to exterminate all of them there might be a problem right]

John nodded

Earthquake[so you don’t want to kill me and that made you give that deal, but I have to say I am surprised, I never thought that I would see the guardian be hesitant about killing somebody, have you gone soft while we were sealed, cause it might be long time for humans but for us who are immortal its barely what a minute is to them]

John for the first time got a bit angry, he didn’t care about the attacks so far but saying that he wouldn’t even hesitate to kill a friend didn’t sit right with him.

John[you are right, I made you that deal cause I didn’t want to have to kill you if you break the rules, cause exterminating not only the humans but any living creature completely does exactly that]

Earthquake had stalled for time he didn’t give a fuck about what John had said, he knew he would be breaking the rules even before he was unsealed, but all that did was only make him think of ways to deal with the guardian, and now that his attack has finished charging he was ready.

Earthquake[Earth Press]

As Earthquake said that the whole dessert they were standing in trembled, all the dust, stones, sand and other forms of earth started floating, the whole sky in the desert now looked like it was made of earth.

John frowned[please, don’t do that]

Earthquake was trilled, this was the first time the guardian had said words like those, maybe this time he could actually deal damage, he pointed his finger to john and all the debris in the sky at impossible to observe speed flew towards him, he was being attacked none-stop from all sides with different forms of earth at unavoidable speed even for the gods.

Earthquakes previous attacks were unsuccessful but he hoped that this one would at least deal a little damage and show him a weak point in the Guardian defense which he could use to finish him, Gods had very little named attacks , they could be counted on one hand but those were their most destructive and powerful ones as well, even if the receiver was a god a level higher they would still receive damage, and his ‘Ëarth press” was extremely powerful even among named attacks, with just one attack the enemy was under unstoppable and undodgeable barrage from all sides, even if the different forms of earth didn’t look strong they were, with his current power that attack alone could kill most high-level Gods, even if he couldn’t, he knew John couldn’t brush of this named attack like he did with the other ones until this point.

John who received the constant barrage yawned, this attack was one of the strongest attacks he ever had received, but that also meant that it wasn’t the strongest as well, he waited for ten minutes and the barrage finished, again not even dust was left on him.

John [did you finish or do you still want me to continue being your testing dummy cause I am ok with that, but can you give up on killing all the humans in exchange, isn’t the half enough the humans on this continent number 8 billion you can kill 4 as long as you don’t completely exterminate a single tribe of them that should be enough]

Earthquake was truly angry at this point.

Earthquake[You fucking piece of shit, with all that power you do nothing except be a dog of some fucking rules from time nobody remembers, if you just had intervened then so many thigs could have been different and we wouldn’t have been sealed as well, instead you betrayed us, your only friends, do you think we didn’t know you were lonely, you act tough but everyone avoids you like a deadly decease cause they are afraid of pissing you off, if it wasn’t for us you would have continued to look at a fucking screens for the rest of eternity so you can do your job, but how do you repay us, you help the humans cause they found a fucking artefact who supposedly has the power to bent your will when we all now that is bullshit and seal us, you cant call that friendship no matter what SO FUCK YOU AND YOUR RULES, PROTECTION OF MOTHER EARTH]

The whole dessert below Earthquake covered him, making him look like the biggest mountain in the world in a shape of human body, then it all compressed and was now again a human size even if a bit tall, on the place he was standing crakes started to appear the earth broke just from the weight and power, but he wasn’t moving and even all his God pressure disappeared and combined in this armor.

Protection of mother earth is extremely simple attack, it used The Earths God, god power to make him completely turn his body into earth and strengthen it to the limits of his power, whats more he was stronger now since before he was sealed, during the time he was sealed he couldn’t use his power outside his body cause the seal prevented him but it actually helped him condense the power in his real body, the spirit, that’s why all his attacks now were stronger, but even before he was High-level god, now that he was stronger he was probably around Highest-level gods, the strongest ones, or his power might even be bigger.

Even before, this attack made gods he fought not want to take direct hit, but now even he didn’t know how strong it will be, he just knew that with his power he could destroy half of the continent, the reason he wasn’t doing it was because this power was temporally and he for sure wouldn’t be able to deal with the guardian after that, but if he deals with the guardian now he knew nobody would deal with himself after that.

John thought about what Earthquake said and knew he was right, it was obvious that the other gods avoided him, that was the main reason he treasured those four so much to not even thinking about killing Earth after all that, when it was obvious that Earth was traying to kill him. Even before he came here he knew that Earth would probably act like that, he hoped that Earth wouldn’t but well his hopes were now gone, so he had only one way of dealing with that, he wouldnt take him up by force, and he would still let him have the deal, but before that he needed to do something.

Completely crush every thought of Earth that he might be able to deal with John and show him the difference in power, so he could make him forget his plan for revenge, he knew that Earth was stronger now for some reason but that didn’t matter. For the first time he would show a bit of what the guardian could do, he could kill him without anyone even knowing how, but crushing someones will was more difficult than killing them it might be a bit difficult even for himself, cause he knew, Earth was extremely stubborn, for him it was either his way or the wrong way but now John needed to show him that his way was the wrong way, and to be honest even if Earthquake was right his comment still made him angry.

First he decided to take Earthquake attack head on.

John[ok I think you have charged enough energy, come on]

As Earthquake had finished distributing his power he started running forward with his shoulder at the front, almost all his power was there with a little left to not let his Protection of earth to fall off, all the ground below him trembled and broke from his steps but still supported him and even helped him to gain momentum, he almost reached the Guardian and extremely sharp stone spike came of the armor all the energy was at its tip , “CRAAK” could be heard, he hit the guardian and smiled that noise meant he had actually hit him this time, but not long after his smile disappeared, something was wrong, he knew he had hit him but at the same time he couldn’t feel like collision happened at all, the energy was still at the end of the spike the attack had made the sand in the desert to rise for a bit and as it fell back down Earthquake saw that he really had hit the guardian and the spike was still right in front of his chest but it didn’t seem to penetrate him, he saw the guardian looking at him straight in the eyes and a bit of anger could be seen on his face, a very specific feeling run down Earths whole body, Fear, the feeling he had seen on every opponent the guardian faced before their death was now running on his back, he couldn’t take it, so he started punching, he redirected the power from the spike into his fists and started hitting the guardian, even if the punches might not seem like much each of them could destroy a mountain range.

{There must be a place where he could get hurt} Earthquake thought, after all every existence must have one, he attacked the face the stomach the back the legs the groan he was desperate, after the first two attacks of his fists he could feel his armor starting to break so he was starting to fall into despair, the armor was starting to break just from hitting, not from being hit, he was now stronger than even the highest level god but even that didn’t matter, he didn’t have anything else he could try to hurt him so a though came into his mind and he hated himself for having it but he didn’t have a choice, the thought was simple ”RUN” he pretended to continue to attack and started to think for a way to run.

What he didn’t know was however that John knew what was in his head and was now time to make him feel true despair, but he wouldnt try anything that could kill him, the reason he didn’t act since the moment he decided he would attack as well was because he had to appraise Earthquakes power as to not kill him by mistake and he had finished that just now.

John{5 procent is enough, huh he really is a lot stronger now}.

John looked at Earthquake and transformed a small part of himself into his real spirit or real body so to say, five procent from the pressure from his God body was leaking out, but he was limiting it to the dessert they were in , cause if humans walked into it, they would die, that’s why he avoided the prison as well and focused on the one who was still punching him looking for a way to escape, too bad he planned to show him there is no such thing as “escape” when dealing with the Guardian .

Earthquake suddenly felt something strange, a pressure was coming from John, his eyes who usually looked like those of ordinary human now looked the slightest bit godly but whats more he felt like he was being crushed just from that pressure alone, he still had around half his power in the armor but now that armor was being crushed just by that pressure as well, celestial beings didn’t breath but now he felt like he was gasping for air, but there might still be a chance, as he tried to run away something which made him fall in complete despair happened, the earth, his attribute didn’t let him run, he tried to control it but he couldn’t, then he felt it, the earth who didn’t have a brain or any emotions as it was an object, was afraid, if it had a mouth now it would be screaming for mercy, as he looked around he was even more shocked, he wasn’t in despair cause he had long since past the maximum point of despair and now it was just impressive, he finally fully understood why all the gods even those stronger than them gave him the name “executioner ”, gods were strong but no god could make an inanimate object feel fear, but now the poisoned mist that surrounded them which they hadn’t paied any attention to was slowly backing away with John at the center, the strong winds which were blowing not too long ago couldn’t be heard or felt at all, and he knew that they probably felt the same thing the earth did ”Fear”, everything in the surrounding didn’t want to anger that creature, the wind was being afraid of annoying him and so did the mist so it backed off and even the earth helped him catch the reason for its displeasure, even if that reason was its master.

He had angered that creature which made events like that happen just from unleashing his power, he didn’t know if that was all the power of John cause the difference was too immeasurable for him to tell but he had given up running ,at this point he knew, he couldn’t escape, he fully understood something now which he had overlooked thanks to Johns usual human appearens and hidden god power.

{truly, when he wants you dead, you are dead} Earthquake thought to himself, now he finally understood how humans felt when they faced a god, the feeling of giving your all and not being able to do anything except shiver in fear to even save your life was truly, disgusting, at this moment his life was completely out of his hands and he couldn’t do anything about it, he could be played in every way and he still had to do everything to please the other side, the being in front of him was simply higher existence and he was the lower one, and the lower ones only choice was to try their best not to cause its own end by doing anything that might make the higher one angry.

John who wasn’t sure if that was enough, cause after all Earthquake was stubborn as a rock decided to do one more thing, he lifted his finger and sudden ball made of complete darkness the size of a football appeared on the tip .

As earth saw the black mass which made the poisonous smoke who looked like it was slowly backing away now look like it was sprinting with all his might his mind went blank, he didn’t know what that black ball was and as John didn’t call it any name it meant it didn’t have one, which meant that it wasn’t one of his strongest attack completely shallow any light surrounding it but still didn’t shatter the space it was in, it was clear to him that the moment that blacked thing touched him he would die, there was no doubt about that in his mind, he was completely sure about it.

Earthquake[so that is my end huh, fuck exactly after I was unsealed, that time wasn’t too long for us gods but as It was spend in complete darkness it felt like a fucking eternity]

Earthquake started to silently cry and put his hand around his eyes to cover it, he couldn’t keep it in, he knew he was going to die and could do nothing about it either way so who gave a fuck about how he looked in his last moments, he didn’t and he was certain that his killer didn’t as well.

John saw this and knew that his plan had succeded but he still nailed the last nail in the coffin of this matter.

John [I will ask you again, do you take the deal]

As earthquake heard that and saw a way for him to live he answered without a moment hesitation.

Earthquake [YES]

John made the black orb disappear and changed the form of his true body, once again sealing away the pressure, the deal was made, he knew that Earthquake wouldn’t go back until half of the humans were dead so it was time for him to go back.

John[I will go but don’t feel bad you were truly strong this fight]

Earthquake smirked with tears still dropping from his eyes .

Earthquake[Yea right, now go away]

John disappeared, but he wasnt laying, john had never, even once used his pressure before so Earthquake didn’t know but the strongest God after himself could only deal with 4 procent and Earth needed 5 so at least during this fight he was the third strongest god directly below himself and that meant a lot, John wasn’t the guardian cause he was stronger than the strongest god, he had to enforce the rules which meant that he should be able to deal with all those who disobeyed him and that didn’t mean they would come one by one at him, being the guardian wasn’t being the strongest as most thought as in being able to defeat everyone one against one, being the guardian required strength to defeat all the gods combined if they decided to attack him all at the same time, he wasn’t meant to fight only one god, the Guardian was meant to fight an army of them so 5 procent power is really impressive if you take that into consideration.

As John disappeared Earthquake sobbed for a few more seconds, something he had never done until now thanks to his near death encounter and after he finished he called over Pluto from the white room in which he had sent him to protect him, and told him to follow, they were getting out of this fucking desert.

When he came back Pluto was shocked, the poisonous clouds which no human could even pass through were nowhere to be seen, neither were there strong winds, it was like this wasn’t the desert in which he had lived until now everything he saw seemed broken or destroyed, it was like everything was turned upside down, he followed Earthquake and glanced once towards the prison, towards the place he had stabbed Clare with sadness in his eyes but continued to move forward. He saw that Earthquake wasn’t in the best of moods but decided to ask one thing none the less.

Pluto[so when are we exterminating the humans]

Earthquake[well things have gotten complicated so I don’t know]

After hearing this Pluto asked with a bit of hope

Pluto[Are we not exterminating them anymore]

Earthquake answered as an obsessed, crazed smile showed on his face.

Earthquake[no they are definitely all going to die I will make sure of it, their sin cant be forgiven, but it might take a bit more time]

Pluto was disappointed, he really hoped for a different answer after he saw the being appearing out of nothingness save the prison, but he guessed that didn’t matter much after all, but he couldn’t let those thoughts show.
