《The Na'vi Je'daii (Star Wars FF)》Chapter 4

Kavuk punched the training droid across the room before rushing over to another one. All around the room were droids that he had either damaged to the point that their functions shut down or were still charging at him with weapons in their hands.
'Just go with the flow. Strike. Dodge. Throw. Kick. Let the Force guide me.'
Kavuk entered a meditative trance while battling the droids. By the time he awoke from it, he had broken every droid in the room.
'Crap. Master is going to kill me when she finds out I destroyed most of the training droids again.'
Kavuk was about to run off before anyone could catch him but he saw a familiar red Togruta waiting for him at the entrance.
"Master. What a coincidence."
Shaak Ti hummed before looking behind Kavuk's back and seeing the state he left the room. She shook her head before turning around and walking away.
"Follow me," the Jedi Master called out when she was already nearing the end of the hall
Kavuk hurried to catch up to Shaak Ti before keeping pace with her as he walked by her side. He peered down at his master to see that she seemed to be her usual impassive self.
"Stop looking at me like that. I am fine, my student. Grievous broke my body, not my spirit."
The Na'vi nodded and no longer continued to stare at her. Even if he didn't believe his master's words, it was better to not push her buttons.
"Enough about me. What about you, Master Anurai? How do you feel about your promotion?"
Kavuk groaned at his new title.
"To be honest, I hate it, Master. I feel like I was promoted out of pity and necessity than the Order valuing my skills."

Kavuk was granted his promotion to Jedi Master alongside Aayla after the Battle of Hypori and their loss to General Grievous. It wasn't after all of his other achievements but the one time he lost and had to run with his tail between his legs.
Shaak Ti nodded. She appreciated that Kavuk was never the type to hold back his thoughts. It always made it easy to understand and teach him.
"While I can't deny that you were promoted out of necessity, it was definitely not out of pity. You have proven yourself many times before and I have argued for your promotion since the First Battle of Geonosis. It has been your stubbornness that made the Council hold you back.
The Republic needs someone that can take on the new Separatist Commander, General Grevious. And there is no one better suited for that task than you. Do not just glance at the surface of the lake. Life lies far deeper."
"Thank you for your teachings, Master. Why am I following you though?"
Shaak Ti chuckled to herself. She had been waiting for Kavuk to ask about this.
"Oh. I almost forgot. You are getting a Padawan. Think of it as an additional condition for your promotion."
Kavuk stopped in his tracks. He wanted to refute and deny the Padawan but he knew that he couldn't. The Council rarely got involved with giving Masters Padawans. This only happened in the rarest of circumstances.
Kavuk followed Shaak Ti to one of the personal training rooms. She stood next to the door before motioning for the Na'vi to walk inside.
Kavuk took a deep breath before opening the door and walking inside. Sitting on the floor in a meditative position was a young girl that looked no older than 14. She had light-brown skin and sleek black hair.
The Padawan opened her eyes and revealed that they were blue-green. She looked at Kavuk with a slightly puzzled expression before flashing him a smile.
"Hello, Master Anurai. My name Trilla Suduri. I will be your Padawan from now on."
