Town Hall (cont.)
In a hundred or so seconds, the side discusions started to chill as many people started to stare at the Grand Town Elder and the Town Chief. The 1st Senior Town Elders started to stare at Taz then glanced at the Grand Town Elder, and started to slur in that direction, "So, Grandi, uhh If it pleases you, I'll lead the discussion. * cough * * clears voice * I know this is going to be a long discussion, so let's just start off assuming everything requested and suggested will be accepted. Where are we going to get all these people from? I feel the reasons to opose out weighs otherwise. We are already lacking food and resources, how do they expect us to spent all of our resources for your farts?"
The room was quiet for a moment, then Taz spoke up, "Everyone can choose not to help. I think this isn't nonsense, and I also feel this will be very dangerous. The more people who are on board, the more profit we will get. I would like to say that we should move everyone on the island, but I know many families will not want to move, especially Clip and some old demons. Let's move everyone who is strong, and leave all the weak bodied people."
Many of the warrior elders in the room agreed with that line of thought, leaving behind all the burdens was the best solution. However a few of the more skilled artisians felt that this wasn't the answer they should use, and the 4th Town Elder was one who spoke up, "I disagree, many of the best skilled artisians are older and have weaker bodies."
The 1st Town Elder shouted in response, "Nah! We just have to give them a body guard or assistant and problem solved!"
Some of the elders felt this wasn't exactly the right answer, but didn't know how to respond. Then 2nd Senior Town Elder spoke up, "In 3 million seconds, let's hold a festival, we are going to need to gather everyone at some point anyways. We can recruit everyone who doesn't already have a job or master. Let's give desciples to all the artisans, and also give junior recruits in pairs or triplets to artisans based on their importance. The important artisans can help baby sit the junior recruits too."
The 1st Senior Town Elder didn't agree and said with a frown, "And you want to take all our people and resources leaving us with not enough people?" A few people started to nod their heads, agreeing with what the 1st Senior Town Elder said.

Followed with a rebute from 2nd Senior Town Elder, "Since when did this old lady need your permission to hire people and buy resources with my money? This old lady has so much money, I'll just move my entire Haflu camp and make a new camp. I'll cover all the costs and claim all the profit!"
"Go ahead and spend all your bitch money!"
"Keep farting, everyone enjoys listening to it."
Taz really hated the bickering between the two the most and said with an annoyed face, "Stop bickering you two, else don't blame me when I get involved. 2nd Senior will be in charge of all finances for the new camp. All resources will be bought at 20% increased market cost with today's costs set in stone, no flucuations in any price. If it's ridiculous trade, I'll interviene again. Any disagreement?"
"20% is so high, how about 19%"
"20% is so low, what about all the people we'll lose! The prices are going to rise higher than 30%!"
At this point the Grand Town Elder spoke and said in a relaxed voice, "Then how about in the future, this new camp needs to send 5% of all profit, and include the 5% of the value of all the people that are born as tribute back to Blu? And uhh how about the first 100 million seconds, this will be doubled, and for every month there is a balance there is an interest rate of 1% applied yearly? This sounds a little harsh how about this tribute will last for 1 billion seconds, and then be reduced to 1% after that. However all tribute this camp receives we will get 2% of that ontop of the calculated profit. 20% will be removed... no, we will sell all the resources at 80% cost..."
These conditions were very hurtful to both parties. It essentially forced third parties who would stay in Blu to invest, and at the same time gave them some of the profits. Both Senior Town Elders were both elated and dissatisfied with what was said. 80% cost meant that the second Senior was going to make a profit no matter what, however these required tributes would suck the camp of excess resources in the future, it wouldn't be alot, but over time it would add up.
Taz was very satisfied with what Grand Town Elder said, nodding his head he spoke, "I like this plan, this spreads the cost while sharing some of the profits. Atleast if this adventure is a fail, everyone will be hurting and there will be no winners. If this succeeds, then everyone will hurt for a while, but soon everyone wins... We have had lack of land as a major issue for a long time... We also need more land for farming. Living in the Infinite mines can cause issues because the rocks block the reception of the crystals... We need those energies to strengthen our bodies..."

At this point Taz thought about if He had his son live in the infinite mines instead of placing that seal on his body, and how that would have effected him instead. But the thought quickly dispersed when he thought about the other dangers of the mines.
Taz continued, "We will hold that festival to recruit people like suggested, however we will also invite everyone on Blu, to include the shrine maidens. Even the two wild beast kings are invited if they want to show up! I want everyone to be involved!"
What Taz just suggested was comepletely unexpected, theft could happen if there were no body guards left behind, but then assassination could happen. His next sentence cleared the dought, "This means everyone needs to bring all their worldly posessions, let's just abandon Blu and take everyone and migrate!"
This time the 1st Senior Town Elder spoke laughing, "Chief jokes are truely funny! There are too many people who don't want to go, so that isn't going to happen, but having everyone to bring their stuff will help in selling everything, we should just turn this festival to a market festival! Allow this clever elder to organize this market festival! It'll help to let people know that all prices in the market event will be one price and no variance! I'll have all people know how much their bodies and skills are worth, and how much their valuable are worth!"
7th Junior Town Elder then mentioned a thought, "What if everyone doesn't want to sell their stuff, and groups up?"
3rd Junior Town Elder replied thoughtfully, "What if we force any person that isn't going that they have to sell their stuff?"
1st Junior Town Elder mentions, "Then because you aren't going, I want to buy your favoriate pet. You gota sell it now!"
2nd Junior Town Elder says, "What if we say then that they should get 200% market value for any thing that's not for sale, and force them to sell at that price?"
1st Junior Town Elder says cleverly, "Then I want to buy all your rare items that are cheap but can be expensive in higher quantities!"
7th Junior Town Elder mentions, "We can just place a multiplier on it depending on quantity that seller posesses. If you don't buy out all the stock then you should pay an extra 50% in cost when forcfully buying products that they don't want to sell! For slaves, pets, and special plants, let's stick with 500%. If someone has products they don't want to sell no matter what, they pay the value of that item's 100% market price as tribute to the expedition, and that amount is given into a fund that's split for later use. We can use that money as more investment for better tribute from the camp in the future."
The Grand Town Elder smiles at the idea, "That's not a bad idea, the amounts need to be changed... hmmm..." After a brief pause the Grand Town Elder continued, "Special rare items are 50%, Slaves 50%, war slaves 10%, all other items 10-20%. This is how much you have to pay in market value for these items to not be for sale if they want to stay on Blu, there is no increase in value because you don't want to sell. You either pay this tribute or you are going. Clip is the only family that gets the exemption. However, I have a feeling that the Clip family is going to want to go too, and make their own camp. 4th Junior, you go send a message to Clip family of everything that was said in this meeting, after all, you are related to them. I'd like to know their stance."
The 1st Town Elder looked a little gloomy at first, then started to smile. He was in charge of the event after all, he could micromanage the percentages a little and give exceptions after all.
Taz was getting tired with the atmosphere, stood up and said, "Lady 2nd Senior is in charge of the expedition, Sir 1st Senior is in charge of the market. 1st Elder, you are in charge of organizing all the juniors into artisians and soldiers. Grandi will be in charge of organizing the other elders into other groups or helping the current ones. Oh yes, I'll also unseal those 3 brats at this event too, let's see if there is any community services we can also do, well any questions?"
No one said anything. Taz left the room.

Searcher
I was just like everyone else. At least, I thought so. Everyone grew up in a mansion with servants, trained to be a debutante, had a traveling archeologist for a father, and gave it all up to do whatever the hell they wanted. Right? Well that’s what I did. I was happy. As happy as a single twenty four year old girl can be living in an apartment selling shit online to pay the bills. Not actual shit, that's gross. No, I bought stuff from garage sales, thrift stores, and junk shops, and resold it in my online store. I was pretty good at finding stuff to peddle to my customers. I made rent every month and didn’t have to strip. I’m a bit too chunky to swing around a pole anyway. Life was great! Until two sexy men broke into my apartment and woke me up from the most erotic dream my sexually depraved mind could come up with. One was between my legs, the other was... Oh well, it was a dream and I didn’t even get to finish it. Those bastards! Now I’m supposed to believe my dead father wasn’t an archeologist, but some kind of paranormal agent working for a secret organization called The Guard. My ability to find items for my customers is just a perk inherited from him. And I’m supposed to use my inherited powers to save the world. All while these hunks of man flesh guard me from other paranormals out to get whatever the hell they think I have. A certain body part is dripping with excitement, literally. But my mind is saying “Hell No!”

OutRage: Total Realism.
What happens when a game company strives for total immersion and realism from a VRMMO?Players require food, sleep, personal hygeine, air to breathe and everything else required for life. The up side is that its still a game, Players respawn, can use magic, can basically do anything they want with obvious exceptions like: not going to prison for assassinating a ruling monarch, not that you cant do it only that its very hard to do.In comes our protagonist a university student majoring in the sciences, namely chemistry. His name is Henry Jacobs, 19 years old and a complete loner.A new VRMMO game was annouced and it bragged and boasted about how it would be the first in a new era of VR gaming as it would give the game a total of 100% realism, meaning when you get hit it hurts, when you walk into a dungeon full of zombies it will stink as you'd expect like rottting corpses. This game is titled Outrage: Total Realism. Which was a joke made by the publishers knowing how most people would be either excited or enraged.
