Running into Glen, I figured he was the one who was calling me. “yes” I said in a questionable tone.

“Well, someone wants you” glen exclaimed in a worried and frightened tone.

All I did was smiled and told him “ Don’t worry if they threatened you, they are all bark and no bite.” This calmed him down quite a bit. Sighing I went into the more desolate part of the woods. The father I got the more untamed it became, until I stopped at the cloaked figure.

Frowning I asked in a snide tone “what do you want, ‘Shofar’”. All he did was chuckle while his partner said in a sickening sweet tone “ now, now no need to say that to old friends.”

I chuckled a humorless chuckle “ oh right, friends kill other friends and stab the others in the back.” With a sarcastic tone in my voice. “calm down” Steve the shofar said.

“ oh calm down, why should I ever do that” I exclaimed with hatred and malice in my voice as I watched them warily.

“we are just here for a warning, Jade” Sapphire exclaimed with amusement in her voice.

“they are coming, they are coming for us…….. and you.” Steve said in a pained tone.

My eyes widened in surprise, why, why now. Not only that , but the pain and sadness in their eyes are true. Before they left I heard I’m sorry, but I don’t know from who as I left, not before they gave me a box, a cassette player and headphones from them.

I smiled even if it was false, so no one would worry or know what was wrong. After all I am use to a masked smile.
