"Oh god i am soo excited, my final spar with father" Andrej thought while taking a stance
"Ready?"
"Of course!"
Kiril appeared before his and striked, but Andrej managed to block it with his own sword and knock Kiril away, then Andrej quickly ran towarss Kiril and swinged, Kiril tried to block it, but it was a illusion, Andrej appeared behind him and knocked him down, but Kiril quickly got up and managed to hit Andrej with the handle of the sword in the chest, so Andrej fell on the floor, then Kiril went for the strike but Andrej managed to dodge and tried to kick him in the head, which Kiril blocked with his hand, and Andrej fell back with his leg aching.
"Even if you are still not strong enough physically, your techniques are quickly improving"
"Does that mean i can start with learning magic?"
"Yeah, but there are still two things you must do before that"
"Like what?"
"Did you forget, Katarina leaves for the magic school entrance exam tomorrow"
"Ah, yes"
"But first, let's have lunch"
Kiril let him inside the house, where freshly prepared gulash was placed on the table, a reward for all of Andrej's hard work and training. After a good spar Andrej was really hungry, so he ate three whole bowls, and then went to sleep.
"He is getting stronger very fast" said his mother.
"Yeah, he is 5 years old and has mastered half of the western wind techniques"
"When thinking about his future, i can't help but feel a little scared"
"Do not worry, he will be strong"
"I guess that's true"
Several hours have passed and the village quietly turned to night, Kiril woke Andrej up for them to go to Katarina's house
"Remember, tomorrow you show all that we taught you Katarina"

"Yes father"
"Maybe it's better for you to go to the north school instead of the south" said her mother
"Why is that?"
"I don't know, maybe because i went there"
"That's just a reason not to go there" mumbled Katarina silently.
Then there was a few minutes of silence which was broken by Andrej quietly knocking on the window, then Katarina raced outside and hugged him so hard that the air left his lungs.
"Enough, enough" he screamed until she let go.
"Hey Oleg, how are you"
"I'm still standing"
"You could say that"
"I'm sorry, but i came to show the things i learned to Katarina"
"Are you ready father?"
Kiril went to his back with high speed, he bent over and hit him with the hilt of the sword, Andrej swinged his sword to hit his head, but Kiril dodged the slash and pinned Andrej to the ground with his foot, but that was an illusion, as the real Andrej was already in the air and pinned Kiril down on the ground instead. At that moment Andrej felt special as everyone applauded and shouted.
"Congratulations, you can finally wield a real blade now" Kiril said to him and retuned the sword to him.
"I'm impressed Andrej! That was incredible!"
"Thanks!"
"Hey, whichever school i get into, make sure you get into the same one, so we can go together"
"Of course, we are best friends after all"
"I will write to you from time to time"
"Yeah, same"
"Well then, see ya in two years i guess" Katarina said tearing up.
"Yeah, see you" said Andrej, then he went into his house and laid in his bed, Kiril quietly sat next to him and whispered.
"Hey, Andrej you are amazing. I have nothing left to teach you, at this rate you could master swordsmanship by yourself"
"Thank you"
"Tomorrow, you will begin your magic training"
"Thank you father" he quietly whispered and fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Beyond The Game (Abandoned)
Kaine sighed as his foe advanced once more, never letting up, barely giving him time to breathe. He pressed forward as well, excited and ready, welcoming the bloodshed that was to come. His short blade, meeting the bestial warrior's bone-made longsword. Their weapons clattering sound into each of their ears when they clashed. Kaine pushed, as did his foe, beginning the contest of strength. A dance which Kaine controlled the steps of. As their eyes met, both of them weary, but Kaine's expression was resolved...maddened almost. Whilst his foe's was fear-struck, the creature was terrified down to its core. As were its comrades which surrounded them, watching, waiting for an opening to have at Kaine themselves. Seeing many...but they faltered, as the dead had seen the same openings before. Their battered, broken and still freshly bleeding bodies laying sprawled about their surroundings. It is just one... One of them thought in shaken disbelief. Just...Just one man but he kills so many...smiling even! Glancing from the dead, and back at Kaine as he slew another. No...this is no man... Was its panicked conclusion. This one's a monster! As Kaine turned to face it, weapon ready and grinning widely throughout his approach.

8 96It Sucks Being a Side Character
Beat the bad guy, save the day, get the girl. These are the three steps of success every good Hero strives for. But for Lee, those three things are an impossible bucket list. For a side character, there's no beating the bad guy, there's no saving the day, and there's definitely no getting the girl!As a side character in a typical Shonen story, all that awaits Lee is loss, cliches, filler arcs, and a whole lot of cheering the protagonist along from the sidelines. Can Lee change his destiny in a group full of walking tropes? Or will he be stuck watching from the sidelines? Only one thing is for sure, it sucks being a side character!
