Rinka and Minaro stare at the female for a few seconds.
Rinka: Who are you?
"I'm Doa, a member of the SCA, I was sent here by my boss. Supposedly there's people with black blood around here."
Rinka: What is a SCA?
Doa: It stands for Skill Center Agency, our job is to help people, so I need you two to answer a few questions.
Rinka and Minaro huddle together and whisper to each other.
Rinka: What do we do?
Minaro: I don't think we should say anything, we should just leave.
Rinka turns around and looks at Doa.
Doa is looking at her nails.
Rinka: Hey, Doa. Can we really trust what you're saying?
Doa looks away from her nails and looks at Rinka and Minaro.
She dashes and appears behind Rinka. She smacks Rinka's head and then Minaro's knocking both of them out. Maya falls off Rinka's body, everyone hits the floor.
Doa looks at a tree. A black cat climbs down from it.
Doa: Bukkaru, teleport us back to the center.
The cat closes its eyes. A purple ball envelops the area and a few seconds later the ball disappears.
Rinka, Minaro, Maya, Doa and the black cat known as Bukkaru were all gone.
...
Rinka wakes up.
"What? I'm so warm right now, where am I?" Rinka thinks.
Rinka rises up and looks around. He's on a hospital bed.
The room he's in is nicely lit and warm.
Rinka notices someone sitting on a chair on the right side of the room.
A girl with canary yellow hair, two darker strands of hair are in her hair and more hair takes the shape of sideways diamond at the near center of her hair. Her eyes are pink with some darker pink at the bottom and she's wearing a purple dress with a skirt and black leggings.
The girl is looking at her phone.
Rinka: You're the girl we saw at the lake, right?
The girl looks up at Rinka.
"Oh, you woke up… You recognize me?"
Rinka: Well same eye color, and now that I'm listening, you sound the same.
"Yeah, I'm the same girl."
Rinka: Doa?
"Yeah."
Rinka turns away from her and looks at his blanket.
Rinka: What happened at the lake? I was talking to you and then I ended up here.
Doa: I brought you to where I work. We're in a place known as a Skill Center.
Rinka: No, but what happened at the lake, how did you bring us here?
Doa: Oh I just knocked you two out and brought you here.
Rinka makes a surprised expression.
Rinka: Isn't that basically kidnapping us?
Doa: Yeah… but...If I didn't get you out of there, more and more enemies would have appeared and you would have most likely died.
Rinka: You could have told us that or something.
Doa: I was afraid you guys wouldn't believe me but it's not like I brought you somewhere bad, your wounds have been healed and all your energy is back right?
Rinka: Yeah. I guess it's not that bad.
Rinka says nothing for a few seconds.
Rinka: Where are my friends at? Are they in healing rooms too?
Doa: No, they healed faster than you so we gave them a normal room to stay in.
Rinka: We get a room to stay in?
Doa: Well, yeah. If you're gonna stay in the skill center you're going to have to have a room.
Rinka gets out of bed.
Rinka: Am I allowed to leave?
Doa: If you feel good, of course.
Rinka: Ok, I'll be leaving now.

Rinka opens the room door and then stops.
Rinka: Uh, what room are they in specifically?
Doa: Room C19 I think… if you want I can come with you to make sure you don't get lost.
Rinka: Please.
...
Doa and Rinka walk down a hallway.
Rinka looks at Doa.
Rinka: Hey, there was another guy that went with us to the lake, did you tell him we left?
Doa: There was another person with you? I didn't tell them anything. Sorry.
Rinka: Oh, okay.
Doa and Rinka stop in front of a room door.
Doa: This is room C19.
Rinka: Okay, thanks for the help.
Doa: No problem, I have to leave now, I've got things to do. I'll see you later.
Rinka: Bye.
Doa: Bye.
Rinka stares as she walks away then he turns back to the door.
He knocks.
A few seconds later, the door opens. Maya peaks her head out.
Maya notices Rinka and smiles.
Maya: Oh hey! Um... you never told me your name?
Rinka: Rinka. My name is Rinka.
Maya lets Rinka in. They stand in the living room.
Rinka: Where is Minaro?
Maya sighs.
Maya: I was about to mention him… He's locked himself in one of the bedrooms and doesn't wanna talk to me.
Rinka: Yeah, he doesn't really talk to people he doesn't know. You're gonna have to be with us for much longer if you want him to get used to you.
Maya: Well, I guess I'll be doing that.
Maya walks away, Rinka walks towards the kitchen beside the living room he was in.
2 hours go by.
...
Maya is asleep on a couch.
Rinka and Minaro are sitting at a wooden table eating ramen noodles.
Rinka looks at Minaro.
Rinka: This whole situation is weird now that I think about it.
Minaro: You just realized it was weird?
Rinka: Meeting this random girl, pretty much being kidnapped, we died and then came back to life somehow, what the fuck is going on?
Minaro: I wish I knew what was happening too.
Rinka: Also this place only has ramen noodles, nothing else, It's good but I dont think I can eat it everyday.
Rinka stares down at the table.
Rinka: Hey… What happened when you woke up and Doa told you what happened? How did you feel?
Minaro: I was just confused and kinda pissed. Our lake trip was gonna really fun but it was ruined by this!
Rinka: You only care about the lake bro? I was surprised and… Wait... Let's just leave and go back to the lake or house.
Minaro: We have no way of going back, I asked and we're super far from home. like 2000 miles away.
Rinka: Holy shit, what the hell?
Minaro: Yeah.
Rinka: Um, what if we buy a taxi or something to take us back?
Minaro: Do you have money to pay for a taxi, because I don't.
Rinka: No, but maybe if we tell them we were kidnapped, they'd take us for free.
Minaro: I don't even think we can convince or pay a taxi to drive 2000 miles.
Rinka: Um... Oh! Tell Cap Driver to come pick us up!
Minaro: Oh... yeah, we can do that.
Suddenly someone knocks on the door.
Rinka walks to the door and opens it.
Doa was the one knocking.
Rinka: Oh hey, what's up, do you need something?
Doa: My boss wants to talk to you and your long haired friend.
Rinka: About what?
Doa: He has some questions he wants to ask you, it's really important.
Rinka looks at Minaro.
Rinka: Alright Minaro, we're going somewhere c'mon.

Minaro: Where are we going?
Rinka: I don't know, Doa just asking us to go, it's important.
Minaro sighs and stands up.
...
Rinka, Doa and Minaro walk down the hall.
Rinka: Hey Doa...
Doa looks at Rinka.
Rinka: Are we allowed to leave this center?
Doa smiles.
Doa: You're asking as if I'm holding you hostage here... Of course you're allowed to leave… You can leave after talking to my boss if you like.
Rinka: Oh ok, that's good to know. Also how far are we from the lake we were at? I wanted to make sure it was actually 2000 miles.
Doa: It is 2000 miles, I told your long haired buddy this.
Rinka: Godamm, Minaro, Do you even think Cap Driver would be willing to drive that much? It would take days I think!
Minaro: I don't know, but someone has to come gets us, maybe even my parents will come gets us.
Rinka: Doa, how did you get us here? Wait how many days has it been since we were at the lake?
Doa: It's been like an hour, one of my assistants teleported you here.
Rinka: Oh... could he teleport us back?
Doa: Yes, he can. just let me know when and I'll ask him to come here.
Rinka: Cool, thanks.
…
Rinka, Doa and Minaro stand next to the door.
Doa: This is my bosses office.
Doa knocks and the door opens instantly.
A guy wearing a dark green robe walks out. He has brown hair that covers his forehead and his eyes are entirely dark green with white pupils.
The guy walks over to Rinka and Minaro and stares at them. They stare back.
"Are you the two people with black blood?" asks the brown-haired guy.
Rinka: Yeah, we are.
"Okay, please tell me your names, this conversation will be a lot easier if I know your names" says the guy.
Rinka points to himself.
Rinka: I'm Rinka and the long haired guy next to me is Minaro.
"I'm Sumairu, nice to meet you."
Everyone is silent for a few seconds.
Sumairu: You guys know what black blood is and what it does, right?
Rinka: Uh... Not really. All I know is that we have it and people want it.
Sumairu: Let me tell you what black blood is...
Black blood is the strongest thing in the universe and only 1 out of 60 million people are born with it every year.
Black blood gives people more stamina and more power than a normal person with red blood has.
Black blood also has the chance to bring you back to life.
The revival chances are higher the more stamina you have when you die.
For example if you just started a fight and you somehow die before even using a skill, there is 100% chance your black blood will revive you because you haven't used any energy.
If you are at the end of a battle all tired out, then the black blood revival is most likely not going to happen.
When you were at the lake fighting those red haired people, the black blood being able to revive you even though all your stamina was gone was a 1 in a million chance.
Rinka: How do you know about the battle at the lake?
Sumairu: Oh, Doa told me, I sent her to search for the two with black blood and she witnessed the battle.
Sumairu: She also told me something else… You gained a hidden skill!
Rinka: What's that?
Sumairu: Sometimes Black blood can awaken a skill within you! That black fire like thing that appeared on your sword Rinka, that was most likely a hidden skill right?
Rinka remembers the opaque black gas that enveloped his sword when he was revived at the lake.
Rinka: Uh… no actually, I've always known I've had that skill, I just don't know how to bring it out… I guess the black blood did it for me?
Sumairu: Wait, you knew you had that skill? It wasn't a hidden one?
Rinka: Yeah, it was the skill I was born with.
Sumairu: Oh, do you know what it's called?
Rinka: I think it's called "The Void". I remember that my dad told me once.
Sumairu eyes widen.
"The Void!? At first I assumed maybe it was just a normal darkness skill. But he has access to the void!?"
"I was told the void is the place where the souls of the dead go, and that the skill is extremely rare!" He thinks.
"The Void" A skill that grants the one with it, the ability to use the vast empty black place known as the void, they can create attacks with it and do almost anything with it if they're strong or smart enough.
Sumairu looks at Minaro.
Sumairu: What about you? Did you use any skills you didn't have already?
Minaro: No, I just used my ice like I always do.
Sumairu: Doa said that she could see the entirety of space in your eyes and that your pupils resembled stars when you were revived.
Minaro: Really? I didn't feel any new skills, I just felt stronger.
Sumairu: Okay then...
Sumairu thinks for a few seconds.
Sumairu: Look, I have a proposal for you two you guys probably wanna return back to your home. But I'll let you know that if you leave now, especially when you have black blood and how weak you are, you will 100% get killed.
So how about you stay here... As you know I am Doa's boss and it's my job to protect people and recruit those who are willing to protect.
I'll have you guys work alongside Doa and I, you'll be getting trained while on our missions to save people and you'll get strong enough to protect yourself from the people who want your black blood.
There are no other black blood people alive in this world right now. Black blood people always die, they are always killed by people who want their blood.
It'd be much safer for both of you to stay here until you were stronger, I'll even give you guys a better room to stay in.
Rinka and Minaro stare at each other.
Minaro: I'm down to stay if you are.
Rinka: Uh... Ok.
Rinka looks at sumairu.
Rinka: One thing, we had a guy with us at the lake, he had a cap on and a black shirt, if we're gonna stay here please tell that guy we're safe. or tell Minaro's parents we're safe.
Sumairu: Okay...So your staying right?
Rinka: Yeah.
Sumairu: Alright! Good to know. I'll send Doa to tell your parents you're safe later.
Rinka: Okay… so what now?
Sumairu: You can go back to your room. The training starts tomorrow so get some sleep. I'm gonna go back to my room now, it was nice talking to you both!
Sumairu walks away from Rinka and Minaro.
Rinka looks at Minaro.
Rinka: What about the new room he said he would give us?
Minaro: Must of forgotten.
Rinka and Minaro walk down the opposite side of the hallway.
Rinka: Our lives just took an odd turn.
Minaro: Yeah, we were at a lake and now we're training so that we don't get killed.
…
Rinka, Minaro and Maya are standing in the living room of their room.
Rinka and Minaro stare at Maya.
Maya: So what's happening?
Rinka: I just wanted to tell you what Doa's boss told us.
Maya: Ok?
Rinka: We're gonna be trained until we're strong as hell, because supposedly people still want our black blood.
Rinka proceeds to tell everything Sumairu told him to Maya.
Maya: Oh, so we're going to live here now?
Rinka: Yeah… anyways I'm tired we've gotta pick where we're sleeping.
Maya: I'm gonna sleep in one of the bedrooms.
Rinka: There's 2 right?
Maya: Yeah.
Rinka: Oh, then me and Minaro will just sleep in the other bedroom.
Maya: Goodnight then.
Rinka: Night.
Minaro doesn't say anything.
Everyone walks into their respective bedroom.
