'Your Highness, did he attack you all of a sudden?' Franz asked.

Alfi just nods.

'Does he always do that?' Koji asked.

'Yes, he always attacks every tourist who just arrives at Bali, and if the tourist is found to be a Doki-Doki user, then he will kill that tourist in no time. 'Franz explained.

'Why does he dare to do such a cruel thing?' Kartika asked.

'He always thinks that everyone does nothing but destroying the world, so he kills them in order to protect this world. We both are taught to use our power to protect this world, but it looks like he got it wrong that he keeps killing everyone in order to keep the world safe.' Franz explained.

'No wonder why the villagers hate him so much.' Koji added.

'So, I'll do my best to assist you, Your Highness.' Franz said politely.

'Just call me Alfi please, such name makes me uneasy.' Alfi said.

'Is it okay for me to call you so casually, sir?' Franz asked in doubt.

'It's cool, this moron doesn't deserve to be treated like that.' Kartika, Herman, and Koji said.

'Who you called "this moron"?!' Alfi exclaimed upset.

'Hahaha... Looks like you guys get along well, eh?' Franz said.

Megumi then comes out from Alfi's bracelet and embraces him tightly.

'Even so, he is still Alfi whom I love so much.' Megumi said spoiled.

'Disgusting.' Kartika said in disgust.

'Shut up!' Megumi said upset.

Alfi then strokes her hair gently and says, 'Yeah, I love you too, Megumi.'

'Disgusting.' All of them but Franz said.

'Shut the hell up!' Alfi exclaimed upset.

'You must be his Ribo, right?' Franz asked.

'Yup, nice to meet you, Franz.' Megumi said.

'Yup, nice to meet you too. Are you both dating?' Franz asked.

'Nope, we are married.' Alfi said.

'Really? You must be very strong.' Franz said.

'What do you mean?' Katon asked.

'Oh, I guess you don't know about it yet, do you? The deeper your bond with your Ribo, the stronger you can be.' Franz explained.

'I can't believe you even don't know about this, Kartika.' Cakra said coming out from Kartika's pendant.

'I'm sorry, I kinda forget about that.' Kartika said.

'So, there's another way to make us stronger, eh?' Herman asked.

'Correct, a hellish training is just not enough, you have to deepen your bond with your Ribo as well.' Franz explained.

'OK! Kolonel! Let's do it!' Herman said in a strange tone.

Kolonel then comes out from Herman's tattoo and says, 'Let's!'

'Err... That's not what I mean actually.' Franz said awkwardly

'If that's so, Kacino, let's play.' Koji exclaimed in high spirits.

Kacino then comes out from Koji's glasses and says, 'Ok, Onii-chan.'

Alfi, Herman, and Franz get their smartphones and make a call.

'Hello, police?' Alfi said

'Halo, Child Protection Commission?' Herman said.

'Halo, chief?' Franz said.

'It's not like what you guys are thinking! I won't do anything wrong anyway!' Koji exclaimed upset.

'You sick pedophile.' Katon, Indra, Iqbal, and Reza said.

'Shut the fuck up!' Koji exclaimed upset.

'Hahahaha... You guys do get along well, huh?' Franz said.

'OK! Cupidilon, let's go hunt some chicks!' Indra said in excitement.

Cupidilon then comes out from Indra's boots and shouts, 'Yeah! It's an exciting time!'

'Franz, can you report him to the legal officer.' Alfi said in disgust.

'Oh, I will report him to the chief so he can be executed in no time. You're fine with that, Koji?' Franz said in disgust.

'Just do as you please.' Koji said in disgust.

'You guys are such a meanie!' Indra cried.

'May I come out now? Franz?' A voice came from the sword on Franz's right waist.

'Who's that?' Alfi asked.

'Oh, it's Sunekuo, my Ribo. You may come out now, Sunekuo.' Franz said.

A big blue snake comes out from Franz's sword.

'A snake?' Kartika asked surprised.

'Well, there are many Doki-doki users here, but they are unable to summon their Ribo as a sword is the only Jowa allowed to be possessed here. Not to mention, the Ribo which comes from our Jowa is always in animal form.' Franz explained.

'It must be hard, right?' Katon added.

'Yes, before learning about Doki-doki, we are obliged to be able to master the art of Pandanus War and swordsmanship so that we can have a feeling towards our swords which we wield that the swords are very valuable in our lives and make them our Jowa. And the only ones who managed to summon their Ribo was me, Varz, and Arz.' Franz explained.

'Arz? Who is he?' Alfi asked.

'He is the best disciple we have ever had.' Franz said.

'Really? Where is he now?' Alfi asked.

Franz then looks down.

'Franz, what's wrong?' Alfi asked surprised.

'Arz was killed by Varz.' Sunekuo said.

Everything then becomes silent.

'So, he even killed him? His own friend? What a cruel guy.' Kartika said shocked.

'Arz is my big brother. We three were always playing and practicing together. He always tried to convince Varz to believe that Alfa existed and the world is a wonderful place that worth protecting, and Varz always looked cheerful by his side. But, one day, when I returned after collecting fruits for lunch, I saw Varz slashing Arz's body, Varz killed my brother. I was really shocked, and... I...' Franz explained starting to cry.

'How dare he do that?' Kartika asked upset.

'Excuse me, I have to take my leave now if you excuse me.' Franz leaves the room.

Alfi remains silent. He looks somehow doesn't believe to what Franz said.

"Why do I feel there's something strange in his tale or is it just my feeling? I think this guy is unreliable." Alfi thought in amazement.

'Alfi.' Kartika called him which breaks Alfi's daydreaming.

'Oh, yes Kartika, what's wrong?' Alfi replied.

'It's getting dusk, can you go with me to buy some food?' Kartika asked shy.

'Do we even have money?' Alfi asked.

'Well, this is just what I have.' Kartika said pulling out her wallet which consists of Rp. 10.000,00 (Rp. 10.000,00 is worth around 73 cents) bill only.

'With the sum of people here, I don't think we can afford for noodles for everyone.' Alfi said.

'I don't think it's good for your health, Alfi.' Kartika said.

'Did you forget? A Doki-doki user can't suffer from a disease.' Alfi said.

'But, it doesn't mean you can eat anything you want.' Kartika replied. 'You can't suffer from a disease, yet you can get a stomachache.' Kartika added.

'Ok, thank you for worrying about me, Kartika.' Alfi said blushed.

Kartika remains silent adverting her face.

'If that's so, give me your money.' Alfi said.

Kartika then pulls out her bill and gives it to Alfi. Alfi then draws his magic curtain from his bracelet and covers the bill with it.

'Don't tell me.' Kartika said.

Alfi then pulls his curtain and the bill has turned into a suitcase of money worth 100 million Rupiahs (it's worth around 7 million Dollars.)

'Hey, that's a crime.' Herman said.

'No, it's not. Just check it then.' Alfi said.

Herman then checks the money thoroughly.

'It's real.' Herman said impressed.

'Hey boss, we can buy new weapons now.' Katon said in excitement.

'Instead of that, I want to rent some #@%@^^@$.' Indra said.

'HELL NO!' Koji exclaimed upset.

'How pathetic you are that you are so easy to be attracted by such amount of money.' Alfi said.

'Yeah, we can just have Alfi do that again.' Iqbal said.

'He got a point.' Reza added.

Alfi then summons his Iru arm to smack both of them that they fall unconscious.

Indra then embraces Kartika and says, 'Kartika, let me go with you. We can walk around and talk about anything together, or maybe, you want us to have-'

Cakra then smacks his head directly that he falls unconscious.

'Kartika, let's go.' Alfi said smiling at her.

'OK.' Kartika replied

Megumi and Cakra jump back to their each Jowa, Alfi, and Kartika go out together.

Alfi and Kartika explore the village together. They enjoy the beautiful scenery and the refreshing breeze as they walk. They feel relaxed by the calming atmosphere, beautiful scenery, sunny day, and the villagers' hospitality. As they reach the shop, Kartika buys a lot of meats, vegetables, and spices, Alfi helps her carry the groceries. Kartika feels happy that she could spend time with Alfi... So does Alfi. You are happy now, right? Be grateful you have an author like me!

Kartika then stops to sit on the stone bench on the park they just ran into.

'What's wrong, Kartika?' Alfi asked.

'Let's have a break.' Kartika said.

Alfi then sits next to her.

'Alfi..' Kartika said.

'Yes?' Alfi replied.

'Thank you.' Kartika said shy.

'For what?' Alfi asked in amazement.

'You have been fighting hard all this time, even you were almost dead in order to save me and Herman. I feel so happy seeing you protecting me. I am sorry if I am so undependable.' Kartika explained gloomily.

'I don't think so.' Alfi said. 'I am the one who should thank you, I must have dead if you weren't there, and I wouldn't be able to meet you and the others. You are the one who makes us want to stay alive.' He added smiling at her.

Kartika's heart is beating so fast.

'You are just exaggerating..' Kartika said.

'I mean it, anyone especially women must be fed up staying around with the likes of me who is ugly, poor and pervert, yet you are the only one who keeps staying on my side though you always scold and smack me, I know it means you do care about me very much. So, thank you.' Alfi said smiling at her. 'I will always protect my friends, especially you, Kartika.' He added stroking her hair.

Kartika's face is getting redder. She is so happy with what Alfi said.

"You are wrong Alfi, though you are such a ruffian, you have something the others don't. You have a strong sincerity and resolve. And that's just enough for me. I do love you, Alfi." Kartika said in her mind.

Alfi then stands and says, 'You know, the world is ruined already, but there's always something which is able to make us happy. That's why I want to protect this world so that I can live with my beloved ones.'

Kartika then smiles at him and nods.

Suddenly, they see a girl crying before them. They both then approach the girl.

'What happened, sweetie?' Kartika asked gently.

'Mom...' The girl sobbed.

'What's wrong?' Alfi asked.

'She is separated from her mom.' Kartika said.

The girl keeps crying. Alfi is as far as to take a strand of his hair and draws the magic curtain from his bracelet. He then covers his hair and pulls the curtain back, the hair has turned into a cute and fluffy bunny stuffed toy.

'Sweetie, I'll help you find your mom, so please have this. Her name is Cici.' Alfi said gently giving her that stuffed toy.

The girl takes it and stops crying. Alfi then channels his Iru to his smartphone and the screen shows her mom's position. Alfi, Kartika, and the girl then walk following what the screen guides them. Once they found her mom, the girl is as far as to run and cry "MOM!!" Her mom then hugs her daughter tightly that she drips her tears.

Alfi and Kartika drip their tears as they see it.

'Thank you so much, I am sorry for troubling you.' She said.

'It's OK, we don't mind at all.' Kartika said.

'I was worried about her being kidnapped before. They are right, we can't just judge a book by its cover.' She said.

Alfi then feels something stabs his consciousness.

'Hey, give it back.' She said.

The girl looks as if she doesn't want to let it go.

'It's OK, mam, just take it. We accidentally bought too many of it.' Alfi said kindly.

'Really? I don't think they sell such toy around here.' She said.

Alfi somehow feels panic.

'Well, thanks again anyway. Have a nice honeymoon.' She said.

Alfi and Kartika are shocked.

'Say, what to say to them?' She asked.

'See you later!' The girl said in excitement.

They then leave Alfi and Kartika. They both remain silent.

'She took us, newlyweds, eh?' Kartika asked awkwardly.

'Yup.' Alfi said awkwardly. 'Well, that's life and this is the world, it's ruined, yet we can be happy, right? I must protect this world no matter what!' He added.

'And I definitely help you, Alfi.' Kartika said smiling at him.

'Thank you, Kartika.' Alfi said smiling at her.

"He's a great man, and I do love him just the way he is," Kartika said in her mind.
