《A Moth's Stories》Silent Eyes of Change
Advertisement

Hallowed ground, visited by hallow souls, to view hallow spirits. Ats least that’s what I use to believe. But nothing remains untouched by some form of corruption in this new age. Case and point are the world spirits. A collection of currently 75 living entities who remain as silent statues that can vanish and appear as they wish to any part of the world. Rumour even goes five of these odd entities were found at the bottom of the ocean. No idea how they would have ever found these spirits down there.
These statues had been considered to be sacred beings and such, wherever they were found was deemed to be a place with significant spiritual value and was once long ago, guarded even when the spirit vanished but they always did return to at the very least a close location.
They have a torso, a thin neck which should be insufficient to support their humanoid head, and a set of two eyes.
What makes these spirits, which some to believe were sent by the gods to monitor the world, to be unique is their ability to change their appearance based on the qualities of the planet. Many years ago, these spirits use to take the form of crystal clear water, untouched mossy stone, strong healthy trees from various continents, solid ice no different from the purest glaciers, and in one legendary appearance, as pure light. But as you can see from the many sketches and drawings I have of these spirits, that has since changed. Spirits taking the form of metal plates, concrete, polluted water, cracked stones, and sometimes even made entirely of garbage have since appeared across the globe. But that isn’t the worse part.
They are dying. When they were first counted, there was at least 100 of these spirits but that number has dwindled. Across the globe, there has been 4 graveyards of these spirits have been found where a large group of these spirits are found dead and other livings ones with frequent. When they die, they leave a stump of their made material, which some believe means they can be revived but from the tests myself and others with the goal of recording these individual spirits, these stumps have no spiritual energy remaining. So against my wishes, I do believe they are truly dead.

With the trend going as is, I sadly have considered that eventually all these unique spirits will die. As for what that means for our planet? I don’t know. Nobody does. Some believe we would be dead before they all die as our planet will be unhabitable before then. Others think that the gods will take revenge and fix the planet. And remove us. Some even believe all will simply stop existing on this solid rock in space. What do I reckon? The first option seems the most likely but hey, with any of these options it’s not like I’m going to live to see the results. And to be honest I kinda hope I don’t.
I do believe we can save the world spirits before they are all gone. But I don’t believe we have long before we reach a point of no return. To whoever reads this, please consider helping to fix the planet. Our home. Before its too late.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

Digital Demons
Dispite how it sounds, activating the device that melted her brain was probably the best thing that ever happened to Blade, a former member of the slum districts. Though the process was extreme, instead of endless nothing or eternal suffering our heroine finds that her death was just a nessisary part of the digitization of her brain. Now she has joined the millions of rich and powerful who gave up their lives for a second chance in the fully imersive game world of Templa. Not one to be detered by a challange (or her death), Blade chooses to start in the unforgiving Demon Lands. This is known to be the hardest starting zone in all of Templa, but those who make it through are some of the best players in the game. Does Blade have what it takes? Chapters are always 2000+ words with no relese schedual at the moment. Thanks for reading! -------------------------------------------------- Droped due to poor quality.

Drakon the Necrolord v2
Rewrite of my novel Drakon the Necrolord. 100 thousand years ago the system apocalypse began and all of the known worlds with sentient life in the universe got merged together forming a super planet. Orcs elves humans dwarves and hundreds of other species now living on one planet. These are the memoirs of one of them. Written with the help of the AI in his head and a little help from his friends. As a note: I have tons of worldbuilding done (probably way more than needed, as that was why the rewrites took so long. Depending on the reception here I might do more stories in the same universe and/or build a wiki with all my worldbuilding stuff.

Cruxborne Legends
People play games everyday though the most hardcore gamer can be legendary. Markus has played video games since elementary school and competed in tournaments since his freshman year of high school, but when he is offered the chance to play as a beta tester for Reality Interactive's new VRMMO game Cruxborne Legends, he jumps straight in. When he logs in for the first time, Markus learns that things are not as they originally seemed and everything has a cost. Including lives. Cruxborne Legends is a Royal Road exclusive story set in the multiverse/universe of the Lord of Creation series and can be read independently of the main series. This series will feature a Anti-Hero protagonist, LGBTQ+ characters (and interactions), explicit content (skippable through spoilers in the chapters), and various story arcs pertaining to progression and potential escape/logging out of a digital world. This story may not be reproduced on any other site except for Royal Road and my Patreon by anyone else. This story is inspired by Viridian Gate Online by James Hunter, Rules-Free VRMMO Life by Stuart Grosse, Monstar Saga by Eden Redd, and New Era Online by Shemer Kuznits.
