《A Moth's Stories》Daisy and Thareeza- Destroyer of Worlds

Daisy enjoyed her walks. Strolling along the brown paved road that stretches between the remains of cities. Beside her was Thareeza, destroyer of worlds. A summoned demonic draconic being from the inverted realms. Capable of laying waste to empires and leveling mountains. The two had managed to become close friends despite their appearances.
Of course, friends would argue and such which would often lead to Thareeza getting mad and turning the nearest mountain into a punching bag, sending boulders the size of carts flying. But it was hardly like Daisy minded. Everyone needed some way of releasing their pent-up anger. Daisy had even gotten Thareeza to stop leveling cities! It was a wonderful feeling seeing Thareeza hold back on leveling the last major city on the continent.
They were both walking home to their small home nestled in the ruins of a capital city that Thareeza almost entirely destroyed because she got pushed. Daisy was able to convince Thareesza not to level the castle so they had a nice place to stay. People even started trying to hurt Thareeza after that and daisy would stand in front of them and tell the mean people off. They normally listened after a few of them got hurt and Daisy would wave them goodbye as they left them alone. But for some odd reason, they would keep coming back with more people.
They continued their stroll to their home past the little lake where the two had met and become best friends. The whole area use to be an expansive lush forest that had been levelled by Thareeza with one lone tree remaining. It’s nice that all the grass grew back after all of it got annihilated by Thareeza trying to swat the fly that was bugging her.
So many good memories
Daisy happily walked with a bounce in her step as she whistled a tune that Thareeza joined along in with her distorted and error prone voice, but Daisy didn’t mind. She personally enjoyed Thareezas voice and the way she spoke. She had such a funny way of talking to people. Thareeza would be say things such as, ‘Your soul shall be consumed by the void’ and ‘The endless abyss drains all and shall claim all’. She always made friends like that because people would just give the pair free stuff!

As they walked along the path, they started to see the remains of farmland the had been torched by Thareeza’s rampage that had caused a country to collapse was now just fields of soft grass that Thareeza loved to roll around in. Daisy often joined her as she rolled around. The area also typically attracted a lot of wild animals for reasons neither could explain but it at least meant they never went without food. The clouds in the distance drew closer as they darked which made both of them sad they couldn’t enjoy the sun anymore today.
Ahead of them a group of 70 men and women stood armed and armoured as they raised their weapons. One of them started yelling obscenities as they all rushed forward to hurt the pair. Daisy stood valiantly in front of the approaching group and told them all to stop being mean to them. But they didn’t listen, which made Thareeza mad. She stepped out from behind Daisy and charged forward, her pink dress quickly covered in blood as the group fled once more. Thareezas small human form smiled happily at the carnage all around them as her once pink dress is soaked in red.
Daisy could only smile at her strong friend as her lumbering green form took Tharezza’s hand and they both happily walked home, both whistling a happy tune.

From the Final World
I have lived a long, long time. Longer than the universe knows; longer than any star has seen or traveling light records. My memories; that is all that is left that knows that length, and that which was seen within it. Then again, that is all that ever did. When I am gone, it will be forgotten, a truth and a history lost forever no matter who or what tries to find it. I think that is why I write this now. A record, or a lament, of the most significant being of all time. It is a prideful exaltation of endless triumph, or the dread condemnation of infinite evil. I don’t know which; I shall leave it for others to judge. I could explain further, of course. I could list the sins that have been committed, the deeds that have been done. Yet for now, I believe this is enough. Her story will speak for itself. About the good, and evil, in the heart of a single girl burdened with more than her fair share. And how she reacted to it. So, I will tell her story. Of gods and devils, mortals and monsters, of legends long forgotten and civilizations long turned to dust. And in the end, I hope she knows herself, whether it is salvation, or destruction, she should receive.

... And My Skillet
A long time ago, a child was born under the great blue sky. Many a Dwarf grumbled at the auspicious event, tugging furtively at their beards at this ill omen. A year later as the expedition had begun digging into the virgin hills of their new home, the grumbling of the doughty mountain people rose to a disbelieving furor when the yearling passed over the ritual offerings that would determine his lot in life. Instead, the as of yet unnamed child crawled over to a skillet fresh out of the fire and begun picking at the rock bread, unconcerned with the heat. Shouts turned into laughter, frowns lifted into craggy smiles. Upon placing a handful of the bread into his mouth, the infant’s face grew so grim and stony not even the eldest of the present Dwarves could match him. There was a durable ore within this babe, of that the Lore Keeper was sure. Yumly Ironhand was thus named, the beginning of his great tale immortalized on the rune walls of his clan’s history. “It’s pronounced Yoom Lee and no, rock bread isn’t a misnomer.”
