CHAPTER 1 - Something feels off here.

Nothing. I open my eyes to find nothing more. It isn't darkness, no no it's just nothing, no feeling of the cold or warmth i once knew just a sprinkle of consciousness that seems to fade in and out. I try to move my body but I can't feel it. It's like being in a barely conscious dream, even making a full coherent thought seems to be a challenge. Imagine trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle but only when you complete a good amount does a thought come. As I try to make some sort of thought make sense in my mind I feel myself fading again. I gain 'consciousness' again but this time I feel a bit more together. This time I actually have a sense for my own being. As I focus on my surroundings I can feel a faint glow in a very coarse shape of a person. I can't make out what it is exactly since my eyes aren't working but I can tell it's there and the rough shape of it. I can make out that it has legs, a torso, arms and a head but it feels like staring at a blur.

As I am trying to make heads and tails of the situation, which is hard since I can't even get my own thoughts together. When I try to focus on its head, I find myself thinking about something else then, another another thought again. It's really frustrating. I start to make out weird murmurs coming from the entity, like creepy high pitch whispers. It continues to murmur at me. Nope can't understand you. As I manage to bring that thought together, it stops. I can feel something intruding into my sense of being. Like someone else's thoughts but they are still fuzzy. It's strange but the more the intruder focuses the more I can feel it's straining mind trying to communicate. I think it's getting a headache. It's weird sensing someone else's headache, I know it hurts but i can't feel the pain.

"hurr" and 'Heelpp". Hurr and helpp? Arg every time I try to make sense of those 2 "words' I find myself on another piece of a thought or not thinking at all. Something that did seem to bleed from the entity though was a sense of unease, a sense of urgency and hope towards me.

Suddenly and very violently I can feel myself falling! turning and sliding around in a tube like object. like being on a water slide although a rather dark, terrifying, non wet water slide. I'm pivoting left, right, left, falling faster and faster! Falling through a tunnel-like sensation before the feeling of the walls as they seem to be closing in on me getting tighter and tighter. It gets to the point where it can be described as a claustrophobic's worst nightmare.

As I finally start to slow down, although more cramped than I'd like. I…it feels like I'm dripping into something, a container of some sorts. What am I, a human smoothie? Oh this doesn't feel right, not one bit at all. I hope whoever drinks me gets major heartburn. As I continue filling out whatever it is, I'm able to make out 4 legs and a rounded body. A dog? I manage to bring the thought out. But where is the tail? I'm unable to make any more coherent thoughts as this container is now full. I feel contained again like I'm in a body of sorts. It does feel like a body although it feels off, feels weird, something that isn't…me.

"Argh what a weird dream" I groggily said attempting to wake up. "Argh I must have slept weird I feel off and stiff." I try to sit up but very awkwardly for some reason, before a thought crashes into me. "AH WHAT TIME IS IT!? I'm gonna be…late for..work." Now that my mind is starting to wake up, I notice that I'm not in my bed, or my home for that matter.

"What the. Where am I?" I start to take in my surroundings but my eyes still sore from just waking up. A quick glance and I notice that I'm not in my apartment I'm used to, but in fact a forest of some sorts. Weird, I don't remember going anywhere after getting home, what's going on here? Lush, tall green trees surround my being, like a bunch of individuals staring at this new anomaly in their home, allowing only a small bit of sunlight to get through here and there. One such giving is allowing a breath of sunshine to rain down on me, all rapture style. It feels refreshing, like it's giving me energy through the sunlight somehow.

Small bushes accompany their tree companions around me with patches of large grass and different types of flowers and small fruits around them. This place looks like it's been ripped from a fairy tale. They looked weird though, flowers and fruits but all the colours seem of pallet, like a bright pink banana? Wait they kinda look a bit familiar, could they be? Nah, that's silly me. I could swear that one looks like an Oran berry.

Confused, I go stand up with great strain building in my legs before I fall over, kissing the dirt. Ah what a 'nice' and 'refreshing' taste so early in the morning, add a worm and I'll be all set for the worst morning ever. I spit it out leaving an aftertaste of dirt in my mouth. Odd though My mouth feels off though, like it's the same basics, but…different. As I was falling I did try to brace myself but I couldn't get my arms out, they felt awkward and out of position. After deciding that the taste of dirt isn't all it seems to be, I go to a sitting position with an attempt to look at my arms.

"What the! Why can't I see my arms!" I start to panic, I can feel my arms and I can feel the dirt and grass beside me but I can't see them, like they have shortened or something?

"Why does my head feel so much heavier than it did?" When I leaned over to get a feel of the earth I really had to strain to keep my head from eating more grass, my neck feels strong but I feel disproportionate to my body.

"Ok…ok don't freak out let's just assess the situation. yeah, smarts activate." I can feel a panic attack creeping up on me as I try to figure out what is going on, but I manage to calm down. I mean waking up in a weird forest without being able to see your arms doesn't necessarily mean i have to panic, although i really want to.

After trying to get a feel for my body a cold sweat runs down my forehead, it clicks that i can only feel nubs and 3 of them to each arm and my feet to be frank. Man, I don't like being frank, he's' usually got bad news for me. Also why do my arms feel like my legs? I mean I've heard of having 2 left feet but this is a bit ridiculous.

"Well as much fun as playing in the dirt is, I need to find some help. If this ends up to be some freaky Friday shit, I'm gonna be mad."

After hardening my mind I attempt to stand up again but more slowly than before, so I can test my balance and avoid falling. After some great strain on my legs I fell forward this time catching myself.

"Hmm this seems to feel more natural, weird. Great, gotta golem style this." Where's the precious, hobbitses? Am I right? Trying to walk like this is more usual than it should be considering although very different as to walking on 2 legs. Instead of that difficulty of trying to balance on your arms as they aren't made for that, instead I lack that awkwardness. It's replaced by a more natural walking cycle, although I do have to manually think about each step.

After a short test walk to make sure I'm not hurt or anything I take a better look at my surroundings. This time I notice a clearing through the trees, a flattened path of sorts. Hmm, paths equal roads and roads lead me to places. Genius. I begin walking with more effort to the path before me. Gotta start somewhere after all. Also where are my clothes? Oh right, if i got turned into a dog or something, guess I wont have them. It feels very wrong to have my junk hanging out, at least I know they are there though. Can't it hurt to have at least a pair of boxers?

I've started to walk on the path, keeping a watchful eye for wild animals or signs of people. The trees all the way up there keep rustling with what i can see as weird looking birds flying away, i mean they seem much bigger and kinda familiar to what i'm used to. Gotta say though the walk would be quite a pleasant time, if i knew where i was. I just wish my hearing and eyesight weren't on edge. It feels like someone upgraded them for me. I'm noticing distinct noises, also slight rustles in the bushes and trees. So when I hear a quite loud snapping noise behind me, you bet I freaked out.

"He..hello? Is someone there? Please, I don't know where I am and I think I need help." I ask but I'm greeted with more silence and rustling of nature around me. I'm now even more nervous than before. I quicken my pace. After more time passes I'm able to walk at a more steady and quicker pace than before. I'm almost certain now though that I'm being watched by something. Hope it's not a wild dog, them things be dangerous in packs.

"Argh how long is this path, feels like i've been walking for hours now." I wish I could get a sense of time, but I can't get a good view of where the sun is since the leaves are greedily taking up all the space above me. Just God rays sprinkling through the forest. This pudger frame isn't helping, feels like I'm walking 10 times slower.

After some time later, I can't help but notice a familiar sound in the distance. It kinda sounds like moving water. Wait, people build houses near rivers, so if i follow the river i should get to civilization! Good thinking, me. I'm not crazy, I swear. 'That's what a crazy person would think'. Quite you.

I focus on where the noise is coming from. My left. I break off the path towards the refreshing sound of water, being lost is thirsty work after all.

I see the stream before me and move to a faster pace, almost tripping over a branch I didn't notice. You won't stop me, branch from getting to refreshing and inviting sight of this crisp and clear looking water. I know these thoughts are kinda pointless but they do help calm me down, plus it's not like anyone can read my thoughts. Or can they hmmm.

Before I can get a drink something stops me in my tracks, my reflection. Who is this imposter looking back at me, mimicking my every movement? This can't be me. It looks nothing like me!

Instead of a familiar looking human looking at me, there is instead a weirdly eyed creature looking at me all puzzled like. Weirdly they are located on the middle of my face really far apart from each other instead of close to the middle of the face. Their appearance can be described as overly large human eyes with quite large red irises and white pupils to go with them. My nose, if you can call it one, is 2 simple little holes slightly above my really elongated mouth. It stretches all the way from one side of my face to the other, but not in a creepy joker way but in a more cute frog-like manner. The imposter is a light green colour with some patches of darker green on it. Its head is also quite large, as it is taking the majority of the reflection.

"I know this face! No…no this…this is dumb, it cant be, this stuff doesn't happen in real life. But, then why do I see a Pokémon's face in my reflection and why is it a Bulbasaur." I asked myself in a puzzled tone.

"Did i get turned into a Pokémon all mystery dungeon style?" I try to think about the evening before but I can't seem to remember it clearly, like an unusual fog is hogging some of my memories from me.

"Hmmm curious indeed." I turn back to stare at my reflection, turning my head left to right as it mimics my actions.

"What happened to me? I do remember playing Pokémon and getting a Pokémon….who was it? I think it was a…Bulbasaur." Ah ok guess that explains why I'm this particular Pokémon. Not my ideal choice of them but I could've been worse. I mean, I could've turned into a Trubbish, a literal Pokémon made from rubbish. Well time for a drink. After a couple of mouthfuls of some of the best tasting water I've ever had, I raise my head to stare at me.

"So I'm in a forest as a Pokémon with no recollection as to how I got here. To be honest I half expected someone to show now to get the story progressing". As if on cue the bushes near my rustle as a figure walks through them.

"Ah come on really? I was joking, guess this is the buddy character all those games get." well better get a look at whom I'll be spending my time with while learning about all that fun friendship stuff. Heh pass on that I reckon, friends are made to hurt and disappoint you after all.

"Nyeeh!" it exclaims jumping through the bushes. "what is it doing here Nyeeh, don't like, don't like it, attack. Attack it!" the new creature yells. Looking at it, it appears to be a Rattata, a small purple rat looking Pokémon with 2 large looking buck teeth.

"Uh hi there Rattata I don't mean you harm, I'm just a bit lost you see, if you leave me I'll just get outta of your hair…fur and you won't see me again hehe." I ask, trying to defuse the situation with the Rattata. Now I'm not afraid of violence mind you, although I would personally like to avoid it if possible. But when you are in a new body with a magically strong creature standing in front of you, ready to smack you one, I'd rather avoid that fight for now. I do want to see what this new body can do, but that is for later times not potentially mortal situations, those teeth are very large.

The Rattata, not listening to me, gets down low and pounces in my direction. I was just able to dodge to my left away from the river but I'm very out of balance now, only just able to catch myself from eating grass din dins again.

If this is Pokémon then one can assume that 'pounce' was indeed a tackle, I can't help but think of this as a Pokémon battle. Insert battle music with the attack menu please.

"ha I can hear the Pokémon battle music now, Rattata uses tackle, misses OOOF!" I grunted, as the wild Rattata has recovered a lot more quickly than I and has launched another tackle with its small fuzzy looking head to my unguarded left rib area. Luckily we are a bit of a distance from anything pointy or hard like because I got launched. I didn't think the little guy had it in him. After sliding on the ground for a bit, I got back up to my legs, although a bit winded. That should have hurt way more than it did, guess I'm a lot more sturdy now then I was.

Rattata is watching me as it has begun to circle around me. After walking around me once it goes for the 3rd tackle now. Man don't you know any other moves you spammer, wait why am I complaining, also can't i just take it head on? I mean I am bigger then it I reckon I can scramble its brains before mine do. I steady myself and begin to charge with a tackle of my own at the charging Rattata.

"Eat my chrome dome rat!" I roar a nice little one liner. Is it a true fight if you aren't doing those? On instinct before I collided with the Rattata, I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the feeling of hitting it. Shouldn't I have run into the Rattata by now? I open my eyes, realizing what a rookie mistake I made just then, as the Rattata is no longer in front of me but to my right side.

The Rattata glowed a small radiant white glow before connecting almost instantly to my right leg, this time launching me all the way to a nice hard tree to break my momentum. It baited me and launched a counter attack when my defence was down. Clever girl.

Ok that only slightly hurt….oh who am I kidding I'm hurting really bad after that attack. At least I don't think anything is broken. If I was a human I would have been quite broken, guess this body has its advantages here and there. Now then this Rattata is becoming quite the issue. It's too quick to straight up attack and retreating isn't an option for the same reason. If I can't do either guess I'll have to use my brains for this one. Oh I got it!

I look at the tree I decided to name as "Mr tree" confirming my plan to get this little rat Pokémon. Now see my plan is a simple one bull bait. More? Ok well you ever see those cartoons where the hero has a red cap aggravating the bull to charge at it only to get it pulled over its eyes as it hits something quite hard. That's essentially my plan.

I 'attempt' to get up only to fall down again, leaving enough pressure on my legs to jump away though. The Rattata menacingly gave a wicked grin as it started to approach. I flicked some dirt at it, landing in its eyes. Making the little rodent jump back. That's right I know sand attack fool…dirt attack?

Yep that made it mad all right. It's cleaning its eyes rather roughly with what seems to be great annoyance. A combination of anger and eye irritation has made its eyes very bright red. The Rattata begins to charge a light, white glow. As quick as it appears the Rattata launches a hasty quick attack at me. I was awaiting this. I put everything into dodging to my left, just narrowly avoiding the blinding fast Rattata. With a satisfying crack noise I turn to notice the Rattata has indeed smacked right into Mr tree at a speed that really should've splatted it. With glee at how my make shift plan worked I gave a little celebratory cheer.

"It worked!" I acted weak to lure it in, blind it to irritate it and make it launch an attack from anger. Now it was kinda a fluke but I did intend to make it a slam tree, so it all went to plan. Yep getting hurt was a part of it, after all no pain no gain haha….this sucks.

"Nyeh" the Rattata moans as it starts to get up from the tree. Me not wasting any time to fluff about launching into a full charge and meeting the Rattata's small head with mine as we collide with Mr tree again giving a sickening crack. I'm not to sure if it was from the tree or small Pokémon though. It would be better if it was from the Pokémon, but I don't want to kill the little thing. This attack did leave me feeling a bit dizzy and it did also aggravate my already angry wounds.

This time though, I didn't break my concentration from the small Pokémon. After a long glare at it that felt like it lasted hours, I'm finally satisfied, it's still breathing but I think it's down for the count. I back away to another nearby tree and slump down it releasing a breath of stress that had formed from me during this whole ordeal. I look back at the small Pokémon again. Studying it a little more.

"Huh I kinda expected those little Xs over its eyes like the anime. Oh well. Rattata is defeated! You have gained some EXP, you have levelled up! Hehe, ouch." laughing did hurt but I am still happy I won my 1st battle, but I don't have anymore time to celebrate as I don't know what else is lurking about.

After grudgingly getting back up I start to stumble away from the makeshift battle ground wincing at the pains the Rattata caused me. "sorry Rattata but you did attack me, I just acted in self defence. Later Mr tree thanks for the help…uh oh" i turn around to check on the small Pokémon again only to notice that it has gotten up and it is angry, furious even. I don't even get the chance to brace myself as it has launched and connected with my head with a loud THUNK noise, launching me backwards.

I'm on my back, hurt and in agony. I try to open my eyes but I can't see due to the built up tears from that attack. I'm completely defenceless! Something like a purple blur is approaching me, before it goes down to my left shoulder area, to where a new sense of pain has opened up, this one a lot sharper than the ones before. In a panic filled adrenaline rush I'm able to hyper focus noticing that the Rattata has latched onto me drawing blood.

"ARG AAAHH!" I scream "Get off me!" I flailed about, just managing to shake it off. A wave of energy floods my system allowing me to ignore all the pain I've currently collected. I'm up on my feet as I stare daggers at this Rattata anger building up.

"I'm not going that easily!" Now I don't know all of Pokémon but I do know that bite isn't a beginners move for most Pokémon and if I'm following game logic I'm only lvl 5 so this Rattata has had a couple of battles to which it has gained experience. I stand my ground, feet firmly planted. If I'm going down I'm gonna make sure I can get a good last hit in. With my mind full of hate purely focused on the Rattata I can feel something twinge on my back.

The Rattata, launches its finisher attack, bite round 2 as it gnaws its teeth. All of a sudden as I focus more on getting a hit through the timing of its attack, something launches off my back towards the small rodent. A vine of some sort connects with the small rodent with a satisfying whip crack noise, leaving a rather large streak over its right eye. The type of mark that could earn you the name of scar. The vine satisfied with its attack retreats back into its home in my back plant.

What was that? A vine grew from my back! Oh wait. 'Sigh', a grass Pokémon that uses a grass type move. Ok I get it I used vine whip on the Rattata. No clue how though.

"How did I do that? Uh yeah you…you better stay away! Or you're gonna eat a helping of whip Fu" The Rattata is further back studying me further. I'm hoping the Rattata doesn't attack again, I honestly don't know how i did that. If I was to describe it I would as I'm holding the handle of a whip, flailing it around randomly.

The Rattata goes back into attack mode, not buying my bluff. goes down again into a pounce position, with its face engaged in full rage mode. So it confused me greatly when its face goes from a face of loathing hatred to one of pure terror. The Rattata now full of fear makes a hasty retreat back into the nearby bushes. I'm just stunned, like what?

"Yeah you better run!" As I start to relax I can hear something chuckling from behind me. Startled, I looked back quickly to this looming giant. How did it sneak behind me? Was I too hyper focused on the Rattata? I wanted to run but with a mix of sudden fear with great pain, I found myself planted right there. PUNS.

"Please don't eat me, I don't taste good at all! I taste like a plant, not good at all I tell you." I plead to the stranger. I'm able to get a better look at this stranger. It's a Kangaskhan. I would guess it to be around 2 meters tall (7foot) with coarse looking skin. Weirdly though it appears to be missing its little joey. I mean don't they always have joes in their pouches? Argh stop that, focus, there's a potential killing machine in front of you.

"Oh don't be silly sweetie, I don't eat Pokémon." The Kangaskhan chuckled. "I was just passing nearby and heard a ruckus to find a mean looking Rattata picking on you." She looked at me with kindness in her eyes. But I can see something else in her eyes, a hint of sadness. I'm familiar with those kinds of eyes, sadly.

"Oh Well thanks for helping me, i guess. That Rattata had me on the ropes then." I now attempt to get back to my feet before a wave of pain is pulsing through me, stopping me in my tracks. "Argh! Forgot about those." I say as I stop moving, I can't look to see my injuries as my head is too large but I can feel them all right.

"Oh dear! Those look rather awful, wait here I will get you something to heal those nasty injuries. I will be back as quickly as I can be, so don't run off now." She tells me.

Before I can say anything she has already run off into the bushes. I don't know where she went but I'm too tired and sore to move, so I just stayed put.

She's gone for a short while before coming back through the bushes with an array of different items. When I can see them better I note 2 Oran berries, a Rawst berry and some other fruit like objects. I'm able to pick out an apple next to a pink banana, ew. She moves up to me putting her fruits and berries down besides me.

"What are you doing?" I was puzzled with what she was going to do with them.

"Don't worry I'm gonna use this Oran berry here to heal your open wound up, dearie." She says holding the berry in front of me, making it sound like it's the most natural thing in the world.

Oh yeah, Oran berries are the game's natural healing items, you would discover them in the dungeons and would use them to heal up if you were low HP.

"Uh I'm fine really, i don't need help. Urgh!" I wince again at the pain. I don't like the idea of strangers helping me at the best of times, not to mention a character that doesn't have fingers, only claws. But what choice do I have? Plus I'll get to learn how this miracle berry works.

"Nonsense Dearie, now don't move, I will have you all healed up in a jiffy!" she proudly boasts. She begins by grabbing a piece of soft looking fabric from her pouch. She then uses the fabric to wipe away my injured shoulder from the Rattata's bite, causing me to grit my teeth with pain. Satisfied with the clear wound, she grabs an Oran berry and squishes it over the cut to drip its liquids into the open wound. It stings but in a cooling way that is slowly receding. I swear I can feel the wound closing up, it's a very weird feeling.

With the Oran berry used up she then grabs it and mashes it into a very fine paste like substance. Impressive really since she didn't even have a mortar and pestle with her. When nice and gooey she applies it to the cut. I expected a huge deal of pain, like when a mother would apply disinfectant to a cut. Not that mine would do anything like that though. My old friend's mother was very kind… No stop that train of thought. I shake my head, clearing my mind.

Wow The injury is void of all pain now, though a bit itchy. Like I know in the games it is quite a healer but when you experience it, it's quite something.

"There we go, that cut is as nice as new! Hmm the rest of your injuries will be fixed up with a simple Oran berry, here eat up!" She smiles while holding the Oran berry to me.

I stare at the Oran berry. Erm, a slight problem has shown its face though. How am I supposed to eat it? I don't want to eat on the floor after all.

"What's wrong dearie, you can trust me." She takes a small bite to prove it's not poisoned or anything. This did help the doubt I had about her, trust issues, am i right? But that's not why I'm hesitant at the moment

"Uh it's not that, um i can't grab it." I told her with a slight bit of embarrassment. She now has a confused look to her character.

"What about your vines, you are a Bulbasaur aren't you? Or are those hurt too?" she asks with a bit of concern. Oh yeah, forgot about those. I shake my head removing the slight bit of embarrassment on my face. I go to focus on that feeling from earlier from when I used my vine. After a short time of failing to use my vines, I concede.

"Um, I'm not able to use my vines. Just place it on the floor and I'll figure it out from there." I ask her. I can feel where the vines should be but I can't move them. Guess I won't be able to rely on them for now I guess.

"Nonsense! Here dearie, I'll just feed it to you." She says with a closed eye smile to me holding the small berry to me. Unfortunately the berry is too large to eat whole so I would indeed have to take multiple bites from it.

"No thanks I got this…Omf!" I'm interrupted as she shoves a bit of the Oran berry into my mouth. I chew down with a tinge of annoyance at being fed. She offers up the next bit and I reluctantly take it. I notice that after each bite I'm feeling better, more rejuvenated. After the 6th and final bite we ran out of the Oran berry to be fed to me, thank god. I really don't like being fed, like a baby.

"See that wasn't so bad, was it now?" She asks with a sort of smug smile to her.

"Hmph yeah whatever. Thanks for the help though, name Ace not dearie. You got one?" I ask, gotta squash this bug early or I'm gonna be called dearie from now on.

"Name? Don't have one mons just call me Kangaskhan. I know some Pokémon have them but I never saw the reason for them." weird, guess it does make sense in a way when there are a lot of variations of species around. Whatever, you do you as they say. "So where are you from, Dearie?" Goddammit, here's the tale of dearie, the heroic Bulbasaur. Kinda works…Argh whatever.

"I'm…I'm not from here." I state "I'm from a land so far away that none of your maps have it on there. Now that I think about it, I don't think I'd be able to return home even if I wanted to. It's that far away." Something like a cold revelation washed over me as I grasped the reality that I might not be able to return home. Would I want to though? I mean this could be a blessing in disguise I guess, I'll have to think about it after i explore this world. For all I know it's either a paradise or a chaotic mess.

"Oh does that mean you came with family or friends. Someone as young as you shouldn't be out here alone. It's a dangerous world after all." She warns. Young? I'm like 22, for an older person I'm young but I'm old enough to be let out into the world. Guess this body is a 1st evolution.

"Uh I'm older then I look mam. And no, I came alone. I don't even think my parents care if I'm gone anyway. I did leave home as soon as I could after all."

"What do you mean by that? Don't your parents love you? I know I'd do anything for my young…." she drifts off into a thought. That last bit sounded a bit ominous.

"I don't really want to talk about it to be honest. That being said though, I should be off now. Thanks for the help." I dryly say, as I begin to walk away. I did notice that she was looking back at me frantically. But I didn't want to continue this train of conversation.

"What?! You..you can't go not yet. Too soon. " She practically screamed at me, that last bit she did mumble though so I wasn't able to get a good understanding of what she said. "Uh I mean you don't want to go into the forest alone after all, there are many dangers after all!" hmm good point, i don't understand how this land works yet and if that Rattata is any sense of strength then I'm in trouble here. "Oh! Do you know where the town is? I can show you!" Ah 2 good points damn, I'd rather not rely on her more than I have to but I am in a bit of a pickle.

"There's a town?" I'm in a new world so of course I want to see how the towns here are. Maybe I can see some cute girls…oh wait, Pokémon world, dam.

"Oh yes it's a lovely thing, quite the walk away I'm afraid. With many branching paths one can get quite lost in this forest if walking without a guide

"Hmm yeah you're right, ok I'll tag along if you are going to the town then." A look of relief washed over her when I said that. Did she really care to help me that much? I get, helping your neighbours but this is a bit over the top.

"Well shall we leave now dearie?" she asks.

I nod to her question with a smile that snuck up on me. After Kangaskhan packed her fruits into her pouch, we were off. I'm kinda excited to be honest. Traveling in a new world, to a new type of town I have no idea of. Yes please. I wonder if they have a guild. I've always wanted to join a guild, living life with your friends and comrades, going on adventures, helping each other out and gaining a reputation as some mighty explorer.

Well onwards to a life filled with more adventure and with Kangaskhan with me what could go wrong.
