《The Zombie Apocalypse: The Ville》(Season 1) Episode 9: Unnecessary Danger

Deshon: Nice shooting! Audrey: But the gunshots are probably going to bring every damn zombie on top of our heads! Eli: I wonder will we be sandwiched by the zombies behind us and the potential horde in front of us. Tim: Stop saying that shit in the air! Bruh, I swear you are going to be the death of us saying shit like that! You speak that shit into existence! Eli: My bad, I was just curious about that scenario. Tim: I will haunt you if I die because of you! Eli: I'll keep that in mind. Donovan: Guys, tell me I'm not the only one that hears that?! Loud growling in the distance behind us. The road started to rumble, and the growling kept getting closer. No words needed to be said, all of us took off without a second thought. There were a couple of stranglers that were basic, but we paid them no mind and kept running. Eventually, we got to the rental car place. We came upon the building and the vast parking lot, filled with the undead. But the building still looked fully operational, and the lights are on.
We got through the automatic sliding doors. And no undead insight or the living in the colorful yellow lobby with multiple neon yellow signs and marble flooring. There's an escalator on the far left. Then a marble stairway that lines up with the front doors in the middle also, there's another stairway next to the escalator, but it leads down. I searched the front desk and found two sets of keys containing a keychain that reads master key. Also, founded multiple copies of the building's map and passing them out to the group. I looted the entire desk to find more helpful stuff. The bottom drawer found a key card with a picture of an Asian woman with black hair and brown eyes, in her early twenties with a professional smile; named Angela Gleaton. My gaze went down further, and she was the supervisor. I presented to the group as well.
Suddenly, Deshon collapsed on the floor. He's gasping for air like it's no tomorrow. And he let out a couple of whooping coughs. That reverberated in the silent building. A chilling growl from upstairs filled the building. Tim grabbed Deshon's hands and put them over Deshon's mouth. Donovan dragged Deshon like a ragdoll behind the desk's right side, and everyone got low to the ground behind the lobby desk. Numerous of the undead's rapid footsteps resounded inside. There's one zombie that came down the stairs and made this low pitch demonic screech. All of us crawled as one behind the desk. The zombie went to the door and started to head back. Justin reached for Mike's bag and quietly opened it and pulled out all of the two-way radios, and started to pass them out to everyone except for Deshon.
Justin gestured to everyone to crouch like him. Deshon was the last one to crouch, and he glanced at his right hand. He took a double-take to find out there was a daddy long leg spider on his hand. Deshon rose in a panic and tried to remove the spider by swiping at the edge of the desk computer. He noticed the spider still on him, he crumbled up one of the building maps to finally swipe off the spider, but the ragdoll-looking zombie locked eye to eye with him. And let out a monstrous shriek, and then he tried to jump over the desk to get Deshon, but he sat down by Justin's shotty. Droves of undead from upstairs made their presence known by marching quickly towards the gunshot while letting out endless shrieks.

Justin: What the fuck!? Over a damn spider Deshon! Eli: We don't have time for this! They're coming quick from upstairs. Let's split up. One group goes to the escalator, and while my group goes downstairs. Justin, Tim, Marv. You with me and we're going downstairs! Everyone gathered their things in a hurry. The undead started pushing it to the lobby stairs. Donovan: We talk later on the talkies! I took off downstairs without even looking back. I met with the locked sliding door. There's a red l.e.d keycard lock. I quickly took out the keycard and unlocked the doors. I went through the doors, and there are loads of cars in the parking garage. Then Marv, Tim, Justin came through sprinting. I saw the l.e.d keycard lock on my side, and I immediately locked it back. But a runner zombie swiftly came through the doors as they were closing, and it immediately went after Marv. Marv attempted to swing for the head, but the runner grasped Marv's bat and took Marv to the ground. I dashed towards Marv and struck the runner's head at a downward angle. Then Marv pushed the runner off with his legs and got up, and we started to beat the living shit out of the runner until its damn skull caved in. Both of us took a step back and caught our breath.

Eli: Did it scratch you?! Marv: It only touched my bat. I'm good. That runner came out of nowhere. Marv: Where are we? Tim: It appears we're in parking garage number one. And there's a booth behind you, Eli. I still have the master key you gave us; the booth should have all of the car keys for this lot. Eli: Wait, I still have the other master key! Marv: I hope they can make it without it. Justin: But can we just talk about how Deshon caused all of this?! That spineless coward couldn't just wipe away the spider quietly! Tim: This nigga was about to get us killed! Eli: Deshon should've stayed his ass at the school. He slowed us down, and we'd had to worry about him constantly. This man was about to fall over multiple times; we were running on the freeway. But what's done is done. We can yell at him later for being a dumbass. Get the cars and contact the others and get other supplies. We walked into the booth, and Tim unlocked the cabinet filled with keys. And starts to grab a bunch of car keys. Justin, Marv, and I did the same thing. And we managed to grab half of the keys in the cabinet. And we started to walk around the parking garage looking for the best-looking car.
Eli: JT, you know your cars better than me. Pick a car. Marv: Wait! How do we know there are no zombies down here?! Justin: Yeah, you're right. I almost forgot. Tim: It will take too long to search the entire parking garage to make sure it's clear. Eli: We have the firepower to defend ourselves. And plus we can get inside one of these cars and just take off anytime. Marv: Isn't there a way to get to the next floor? Tim: Yeah, the elevator, but I ain't trusting that. What happens when we get stuck? Marv: There should be stairs. Tim: There are stairs, but we can potentially walk up to more trouble. Marv: So, there's only one way out?! Tim: We can always drive off to safety. Eli: Guys, I know we're supposed to take our own cars, but I'm handicap. I don't have my glasses. So, who's driving for me. Marv: We might as well stick together in one car, so if one of us gets lost or gets turned around by a horde. We won't be alone. And the others most likely have their own cars. Tim: Great, but who's driving?

Justin: I'll drive. I have my license. Eli: We need a car with space so we can put plenty of supplies in the trunk and some in the backseat. So preferably an SUV. Justin: I found the car that we're looking for. Marv: A Mercedes?! Eli: That's not just any Mercedes! Marv: It's a nice car, but I don't see the big deal about it. Eli: Marv, this the... is the, ah shit I forgot! Marv: You don't even know? But you talk it up so much. Justin: Tim-Tim, you know what model of Mercedes this is? Tim: It's this year's Mercedes-Benz GLS. Eli: I knew that! Marv: Sure you did, kid. Eli: Justin, you got the key? Justin: Guys, look for a Mercedes car key.
We all made our own personal car key piles. There were a bunch of Ford car keys for my pile. Then I stumbled on the irregular oval-shaped Mercedes car key. Justin is also holding a Mercedes car key. I pressed the unlock button while Justin pressed the locked button. Honk! From the way back in the parking garage, the other Mercedes was revealed. While the Mercedes in front of us made the unlocking sonance.
I passed my key to Justin. While Justin passed his key to Marv. All of us gathered the keys in our pile. Then all of us hop in the vermilion red Mercedes GLS. Tim tried to get shotgun as soon as he opened the door; I pulled him back from it. Tim: What the hell?! Eli: You want to arm wrestle for it?! Tim: Nigga, I ain't arm wrestling with your strong ass! Eli: You want to fight about it? Tim: I'm not fighting you, bruh! You can have the seat. Tim slowly retreats from me and jumps inside. I got in the car, and the Mercedes interior lives up to its name. A futuristic digital display on top of the cockpit, beige leather seats, the control panels radiating silver. I turned back; the vehicle is more spacious than I initially thought. There's a third row of seats, but it only contains two seats.
Marv: Man, these seats are soft as fudge. Eli: My back is melting! Tim: Bruh, I could literally fall asleep back here. Justin: Marv, we might need to trade cars. Marv: Look, man, it doesn't matter to me, as long I can have a car. But I will take that, Lexus. Justin: My boy! Eli: Should we radio in the others? Tim: Yeah, it's been long enough. Marv: Wait, what if they can't contact us because they're hiding? Just like we were in the lobby. But instead of Deshon blowing our cover, it was us. Justin: That would be fatal for them. Tim: But what if they're thinking of the same thing at us.
What are the odds of them being in the same position as us? Justin: Not impossible. I'll say it's a twenty percent chance of being in the same situation as us. Eli: We can signal them to talk to us. Marv: How? Eli: By tapping on the radio, so we won't cause too much noise? Marv: Will that even work? Justin: That could work. And we won't endanger them by calling for them. Marv: Let's give it a try then. I grabbed the radio in my hoodie pocket. I pressed the push-to-talk button, and I did a knock in a rhythmic way for three seconds. Nothing but static for a few seconds suddenly, then the static stopped, a person is getting ready to speak. Deshon: Yo. Are you guys okay? Justin: Actually, we're great. We're ready to take off. What about your group? Deshon: Well...um...funny story. Audrey: The damn moron got us stuck in this tiny ass booth! Donovan: Stop being so loud before you attract them to us. Eli: What the hell happened?!
Audrey: To sum it all up, we were being chased up the escalator, then Deshon told us to go one way, and it was a motherfucking dead end! Donavan: Lower your voice; I'm not trying to get killed over this. We can yell at this man later for being a lost cause. But luckily, I was looking at the map on the run and led us to the parking garage until Deshon couldn't stop coughing and brought every zombie on top of us. We had to hide in this tiny ass booth. Lucky for us, the keys are in here, so we can lock the door. But it's so cramped. Mike: Bruh, I got this pig sweating all over my hoodie. Marv: That's tough. Eli: How can we help? Audrey: It's way too many geeks surrounding us. And the entrance and exits are packed to the brim with them. Donovan: We're going to have to weather out the storm a bit. Eli: We can wait for y'all if you guys want? We're in a great spot right now. Audrey: No, we can't afford that right now. And nobody at the school has responded back to us. They might be in trouble or busy doing something else. But your priority right now is to finish the supply run and head back to the school. We can leave once these geeks go somewhere else.
