《Modded Reality》Chapter 12 - Pick it Up

Wilton stops at the lake to wash off the deer hide. He continues to his burrow where he rubs salt into the deer hide and hangs it up to dry. An idea comes to mind for Wilton. He goes over to the barrel he had made and set out to catch rainwater. It had not rained yet, but that may not matter.
The halfling grabs the barrel and pops it into his inventory. He heads back to the lake where he pops the barrel out in the water, filling it up, and he pops the barrel back into his inventory with the water still in it.
He heads back over to his burrow. Places the barrel down again out of his inventory. This time it is full of water. He fills up his waterskin, drinks some, and then pours water onto the leek bulbs he planted.
His mind churns with more ideas. He goes to the stump he carved his crafting runes into and pops that into his inventory. He brings it into his home and places it at the center of the burrow.
Wilton goes to the quarry and starts breaking up small pieces of stone. He brings them back to his home after he's collected quite a bit. With some wood to prop pieces up and clay to stick things together, he builds a fireplace in his home. He builds a small funnel up from the fireplace to the ceiling where he digs out a small bit to raise the funnel up above the burrow.
Looking at it from the outside he smiles at his hill, with a door, and a stone funnel coming out the top. He was barely noticeable. Although there were plains beyond his home. Wilton pondered exploring more. There was an outlet to the lake running east and plains to the north. He figured there was much for him to explore in all directions.
