《INTO THE ARCHAILECT》CHAPTER 13

The very landscape of the dungeon shook with fury as master and disciple dueled their very selves to the very fullest of contentment. It had been a week plus, the very dungeon was showing signs of eradication, the land blackened and the mountain had slowly crumbled. In the distance a swirling black hole rotated, one that Ajax had informed Moyo was the exit of the dungeon, soon they’d need to exit the dungeon, but for now they would wring out every second they could from the dungeon. A silhouette busted out of the now decimated forest, trees flying everywhere as Ajax flew up towards him, with an ear splitting grin Moyo tore open a spatial rip, grabbing his blade that came out of the hole and clashing with Ajax’s’ blade that produced sparks.
Pushing off Ajax he twisted in the air, landing on the ground with a thud and pushing backwards, his realm bursting forth to encompass the very area around him, stretching to the base of the forest. Walking out of the now cleared forest, Ajax grinned,
“good good!, follow the scent of battle!” Ajax said, hurling chunks of boulders at him,
Blasting forward with instinct trained speed Moyo tore open three medium sized holes in space, absorbing the boulders and closing the rips in space, with controlled willpower he clashed with his master, opening the spatial rips directly behind his master as the rocks blasted out to slam his master in the back, with mind boggling speed his master somehow grabbed him and reversed their positions, the rocks slamming into him instead, Ajax laughing uncontrollably. Moyo went under the rocks, cursing lightly and opening a rip in space beneath him, falling in and appearing directly above Ajax high in the air, falling with his blade gathering battle intent from his core. The first time he had spatial walked as Ajax called it, his body had compressed into a pulp, his mind the only thing that survived the trip as he popped out in front of Ajax who had fallen to the ground in laughter; apparently, he had neglected to inform him that space would compress him like a tin can, now he could walk short distances at a whim, the longer the distance the higher the stress.
Swinging intent blades over intent blades that scarred the ground over Ajax who blocked the edge with his bare hands, Moyo had been charging battle intent over his blade, dominion hummed with glee and with all his willpower stretched into a realm that closed around Ajax whose eyes widened in surprise for a second,
And a second was all it took,
Incorporating dimension step and edge of the titan Moyo tore a faint line on the arm of Ajax and dominion had tasted the blood of an expert on the edge of evolution to master. The blood hit him like a truck at full speed, crashing to the ground in a wave of dizziness, his notifications blaring like crazy,
Blood absorption level 20!
Blood absorption has assimilated the tenacity of your foe into draconic body!
Heaving in gasps of breaths as he stabilized himself, he noticed Ajax walk closer to him, sitting close to him,
“well?, let’s see it” Ajax said,
With a blink Moyo brought up his stat sheet

Grinning at Ajax who glanced through his stats, nodding as he muttered to himself,
“well, the good news is you’re a certified monster, for an acolyte to have stats like this?, keep this up and you’d find yourself on the FastTrack to becoming a master in 3-4 years tops, and that’s if there’s no prey for you to rip through anymore” Ajax said,
Moyo opened a rip in his space, storing his blade, Moyo stretched his body, his bones making popping sounds, staring at the horizon,
“I guess it’s time to leave?” he asked,
“Nah, we have a day left give or take, might as well enjoy the scenery” Ajax replied as the mountain behind them crashed to rubbles,
“Well, what remains of the scenery anyways” Moyo said wincing,
Ajax chuckled, the both of them watching the slow but gradual incoming destruction from afar, enjoying the silence,
“Your dungeon core, it could be used to create your own territory you know” Ajax said quietly,
Moyo grunted, quietly producing the glowing red orb that pulsed with power,
“I’d advise you not show anyone that, the first thing the advocates would do upon landing would be to find cores native to this land in order to create their own fort holds, creating yours first could give you perks unknown” Ajax continued,
“what of my own race?, someone might had gotten a core already while I’m here you know” Moyo replied,
“Cores can only be found in dungeons, and high-level ones at that, you really think a level 20 or less with no good path and weapon would survive here?” Ajax asked as Moyo snorted,
“I’d be leaving soon” Ajax said,
Moyo didn’t reply, instead he stood up, opened a spatial rip and drew his blade, drawing his left leg back and gripping his blade tight, his realm blasting out, covering even his master, with one dimension step he appeared some distance away and swung his blade. The very air hummed in melody, the white bright edge of the intent blade gleaming and with a shout he unleashed the strike, the very air screaming as it tried to hold the blade but failed, the very earth and air parting, the clouds partitioning in two before fizzling away.
Ajax stood, clapping Moyo on the shoulder, moving to his disciples’ front and casually slicing the air with his blade. Moyo felt the hair on his body stand up straight, this wasn’t a casual strike or one of the dueling strikes he used against Moyo, this carried the full will of an expert, the coldness of the embrace of death, the intent of a sword expert. The very air stilled, a crack appeared in the middle of nowhere, and space opened in front of them. Reality reasserted itself and the tear in space caused by a casual swipe of Ajax’s’ blade closed off,
“showoff” Moyo muttered as Ajax grinned,
Opening a spatial rip Ajax sent his hand through and produced another set of robes and tossing it to Moyo,
‘you’d need it when you leave here” Ajax said,
Moyo opened his spatial space and stored the robe, choosing to go on with just the black pants he had on and bare chested, anything that would break his skin at this point had to be at least level 60 and above. Ajax stared at him, his face serious,
“Sometime in the future I’d come calling, a…. competition of sorts would be held among the sword factions in the archailect, big event, two or more rulers could show up, you my disciple would fly the banner of the reaping katana school” he said,

“With honor Ajax, how soon is it?” Moyo asked,
Hoping it was far away rather than sooner seeing as he had to set up himself in his world, get the lay of the land and understand what was going on, rally humanity to fight back against their invaders as best as he could. Ajax shrugged,
“Depends on the powers that be, train hard disciple, being an acolyte would guarantee you a place in the top 50 with that body of yours. However, should you advance to advocate, well, let’s just say I expect nothing more than top 3” he said,
Moyo nodded when a thought occurred to him,
“Off world?” he asked,
“Indeed, don’t bother about the method, an escort would be sent, for now you are to grow in silence” Ajax said,
Moyo nodded again, the very ground around him beginning to vibrate,
“Guess we need to take an early exit, this is where I say goodbye Moyosore, as your master I bestow your sobriquet on you, I therefore name you Moyo of the titanblade” Ajax said as a notification came up
Congratulations! You have been bestowed the sobriquet titanblade!
As the first of your specie to be awarded a sobriquet +500 to all attributes!, +200 rare aether shards!
Moyos’ eyes opened wide as he showed Ajax the notification ,
“Pity, we couldn’t duel again before you left” Ajax said as Moyo gritted his teeth through the upgrade that suffused his body,
Ajax patted his disciple for the last time,
“Live well Moyo, always remember, the katana advances” he said as he tore open a spatial rift and left through it,
For a brief moment Moyo wondered the level his Ajax’s’ spatial rift had to be to hop dimensions through it. Shaking his head, he began dimension stepping through what remained of the landscape to appear before the black yawning hole. Taking a deep breath Moyo stepped through with determination, instead of fear he felt the thrill of an adventure on the horizon, one he was prepared for by all means necessary. There was a flash of bright light and Moyo found himself in a grassland, the noon sun bright, immediately notifications began pouring in as he sat on the floor, offhandedly casting a realm around his vicinity, settling down he opened them all
Welcome to the archailect inhabitant of planet C-102!, your world has been fully assimilated into the archailect, your 30 grace period will end in 2 days!. Find your way to the nearest green zone to ensure you aren’t caught in zones where the monster levels are higher than your level!. Monster levels are as follows:
Green zone- 0-50 Yellow zone- 50-75 Red zone- 75-100
Your position is as follows!:
Planet: C-102
Sector: 13
Zone: Yellow
Notice: you are in a yellow zone!, make your way as fast as possible to a green zone !.
Moyo stood up, turning as a creature entered his realm and froze, unable to move due to his will suffusing the area. Moyo snorted at how simple it was to hold the beast, glancing at it out of curiosity, it was a simple hog, but somehow the aether in the air had mutated the beast, that meant most of the animals on earth were mutated at this point,
Mutated hog level 52
With a flick of his hand, he sliced the beast with an intent blade, the head lobbing off, no notices came to him, the beast not strong enough to level him up. Moyo began his walk towards nowhere in particular, searching for a place he could create a base, somewhere with flowing waters for drinking, with a thought he opened his map, noticing that what he new about geography had been thrown out of the window. Continents had been broken and reformed all over again, the planet adding more mass, more landscapes were obvious, Moyo couldn’t even wrap his head around how that was possible, not yet, he just took it in stride.
As he marched on through the grasslands, he noticed a hum flow through the ground, looking up to see a…. craft fly overhead, crouching to the ground, eyes narrowed. That craft didn’t look remotely human, which meant someone else was breaking the rules too, if Ajax could do it, then someone else could and these people whoever they were had no care in the world if they were seen or not. Standing up as it passed Moyo began jogging, eating up space as he blasted across the landscape, following the craft, noticing it went farther into the yellow zone and towards the red zone,
Smart,
By landing there they were making sure it would be a while before anyone would notice their presence, however he was cautious, if an advocate was in that craft, then he was screwed, a bit. Maintaining his current speed he followed the craft, his endurance already past a thousand proved to be more than capable as he didn’t break a sweat. Finally, the craft stopped at the border to the red zone, Moyo noticing the soil that demarcated the red from yellow zone steamed, whatever poisonous gas or condition caused that occurrence, he was pretty sure he could take it.
The ovoid craft landed, a hatch seemed to peel from its body like a yoke and land on the ground. Moyo climbed a short tree a good distance away, his eyesight clear as day to see that people, humans marched down from the craft in chains, hands bound and looking weary, except a few with a look of fury on their faces, he noticed a girl with paintings on her face, dark skin whose eyes were sharp and kept glancing around. Filing it away he watched as the first of the aliens landed, and to be honest he was disappointed.
Blue skin, enough muscles to show they were no slouch, red eyes and some sort of firing weapon at their waist, wearing some sort of red uniform Moyo stared at them till their info came up, snorting as he knew immediately that they were either his rank or less as he could see their stat table,
Name: volnu
Level:51(Acolyte)
Path: crimson rose
Race: xerran
Moyo chuckled the more as he realized the rest of their squad were all initiate, he frowned a minute later as he wondered where their advocate was, perhaps these xerrans were not the only batch to had landed, anyways he would observe their camp and decide when he’d lay waste to them, the grace period wasn’t over and already the vultures were coming to scavenge, they didn’t even have the decency to come as saviors. Calmly observing as they pushed the humans around that numbered close to 50, most of them a paltry level 5 with common classes such as warrior, or warrior or brawler, noticing the girl he had observed a while back had the class battlemage, her name Annika.
Moyo quietly snuck closer to the camp, watching the initiates carry a box out of the vessel and place beside the tentlike structures they were crafting, with a deftness Moyo dimension walked close to the ship, crouching behind a set of crates they arranged on the ground, watching the acolyte walk into the distance with two initiates carrying their strange gun looking weapons.
Another dimension step and he was close to the box, opening a small spatial rip and throwing the box in it despite the weird writings on the body and dimension stepped away from the camp in quick bursts, appearing back at the tree he was before and settling down to wait and see if what he took was big enough to destabilize the camp. Opening the spatial rift and producing the box, Moyo stared at it, not sure what to do. Producing his katana and wrapping himself with his realm, he was prepared to slice it open, the realm was to protect him just in case it was an explosive device, not willing to test either his draconic body or the healing of his titan’s wrath.
With a tap he sent intent blades that tore open the box, the container not putting up one iota of defense against the blades, and within was a dungeon core. Moyo growled softly, those fuckers were trying to create a settlement, meaning someone, probably their advocate had cleared a low-level dungeon, claiming the rights to be the first as far as Moyo was concerned. With a swipe of his hand, he sent the core tumbling into his spatial rift, another core for him to use, he glanced back at the camp as loud voices broke out in the encampment, the aliens shouting and waving around with the acolyte screaming at the top of his voice, Moyo grinned, sitting on the tree and watching the ensuing pandemonium, good, let them panic, tonight he’d end them. Glancing at the girl Annika who seemed to be staring in his direction,
No, at him,
Or he assumed where he sat seeing as there was no way she could had seen him, but he saw her, her eyes squinting into the distance,
Interesting, he thought to himself, tonight would be fun for him

First conceptualized and written some 23 years ago. Only until last year that I did some improvisations and improvements to what I had kept in the dusty corner of my room all these while. This story sees the light of the day because I challenged myself, that's all. 2. English is the 6th language that I speak. And in RRL, I'm using British English mostly to write my story. 3. Easier said than done. Rather than subjecting me to subjective comments/reviews about the language, point it out and suggest an alternative. One or two would do just fine. It goes a long way.
