《INTO THE ARCHAILECT》CHAPTER 9

Moyo felt a bit of pity as he cleared out the last remaining hive from the cavern, sitting in the brutality that he had wreaked on the hive, he viewed his stat table, he was now a level 35 initiate, with 110 points to award to his attributes and no leveling up on his skills, seeing as none of the hives posed a challenge to him any longer. The 10% increase in attribute points gave added 10 to the 100 points he now had, deciding to play it safe he brought up all is stats to exactly 200, feeling the heat in his body growing stronger pass through him, he kept the remaining 10 points in reserve just in case, leaving his intelligence at a measly 5
Name: Moyosore

Standing up he left the tunnel and took the last tunnel that led outside of the cave, hearing only his footsteps echo in the cavern, for he had emptied it of all life forms. Moyo decided on finding out how he could obtain more skills, making a side note to himself to try and obtain his masters spatial skill as he was sure it was a skill. At the end of the day, he decided he would just keep hunting till he unlocked any useful skill, he sighted the sunlight that flooded in through the entrance of the cave. Squinting as he stepped outside, placing one bare foot on the ground, he sighed in pleasure of the sun’s warmth touch his face. A squawk drew his attention to the trees in the near distance where a flock of avorian flesh eaters sat, basking in the sun.
These previously terrifying creatures who had previously served as a source of fear for Moyo were about to become his test subject, he had not forgotten the subterranean terror that laid below the grounds surface, honestly, he was surprised it hadn’t come breaking through the ground with him stepping on the bare ground. The avorian flesh eaters were mostly level 10 and 11 and in other words not worth anything to him, with a swipe of his rod infused with battle intent, the air around the creatures became sharp edges that tore into the them, death was instant.
Falling to the ground, they hit the ground with a thud. Moyo sat still for a few minutes, frowning when he heard no sounds or rumbling, perhaps it had moved on, or his master had happened to it. Chuckling at the thought he stood and dashed straight for the forest, as he closed in on the giant trees that stood at the entrance of the forest instinct born from countless hours of dueling with Ajax made him halt in his steps, eyes squinting at the foreboding feeling he felt. With a tap of his rod a bit of battle intent slashing through the forests. Leaves sliced clean of their trees, marks covered the barks of the trees, and right before Moyos’ eyes webs became transparent as they tore in two and a screech followed with blue liquid that Moyo assumed was blood as a big spider fell from the web.
It screeched in anger, apparently the slice to its under belly was not enough to kill it, Moyo stared at its name,
Razorback spider level 35
Moyo grunted, moving backwards as it stood up, screeching again in what moyo assumed was pain, tensing with a series of screeches answered back. Moyo stared with grim resolve as more razorbacks appeared, this dungeon was going to make him sweat for every inch of land he took, with his hands tightening over his rod, battle intent mixing with the aether in the air, he would have it no other way.

Far away, on the highest point of the mountain, the level 50 wyrm shivered in fear. It had been a long time since it had known bone chilling terror as it felt right now, its limited memory remembering when it had fought and barely escaped with its life against a dragonid, the barely adult form of a dragon. It had gone into this mountain before something happened to its environment and it found itself in a new place, the top predator in this area.
For a long time, it grew accustomed to being the top predator, killing off any contender that grew in strength to maintain its monopoly. When it felt the first intruder in its habitat, it had not bothered to go after it, it had felt incredibly weak and not worth its time, leaving it for some other predator lesser than it to have a go at it. The appearance of the level 40 troll had finally drawn its attention as it left its cozy home high up in the mountains and decimated the troll, that was where it had first felt the bone chilling terror again, a being so impossibly powerful that the wyrm knew should it try to bare its teeth against it, it would lead to decimation, as simple as that.
It had run for its life, scuttling back to the safety of its home high in the mountains, blowing the entrance of its home closed. It would feed on its store of frozen store of flesh, eventually the monster would depart, leaving the wyrm to move around freely again. That train of thought however ended when the monster had blown open the sealed entrance, whistling to itself as it sat on a rock opposite the wyrm, not even glancing at the creature.
The wyrm felt the indignation, it, a descendant of the great dragon race, a being who had neared sentience, was being looked down upon by a mere humanoid. Its rage clouded its reason of thinking and in a moment of weakness it roared at the humanoid.
All it took was a glance from the humanoid,
The wyrm saw it then, although it had no idea, it was the intent of the humanoid given form, a hazy dark creature wielding a long pole with a curved blade at its end. The creature stared at the wyrm and in that moment the wyrm could feel its death, its finality looming over it. Frozen in fear, all traces of anger washed away from its body, it crawled away to one corner of its home, shivering in pure terror. It would do its best to be invincible to the humanoid, not getting its attention was the best way to survive.
Ajax grinned to himself, that was petty of him. Releasing a bit of his intent for the wyrm to see, not enough to physically manifest in full, just enough to let the wyrm know it was way over its head baring its fangs at him. Groaning in pleasure as he laid back on the rock, staring at the sky outside the cave in the mountain,
Ajax was impressed, really impressed,
Barring the fact that Moyo had surpassed his expectation a little, just a tiny bit though he thought to himself with a smirk on his face. Fledglings were not given a body path, they were fed with elixirs till they entered the initiate stage, carefully watched over as they hunted lesser creatures till they got to level 25 and above, then given manuals on the paths of their masters and learned the path types of their masters, while using more elixirs to strengthen their bodies as their cores were already of the battle intent type.

Ajax had used him for an experiment, what could he do if he forged the body of a person who had the capability to withstand the excruciating pain and keep going, creating a disciple with the advantages of a warrior with the path of a body type and the core of a swordsman. He grinned to himself in glee, that hadn’t been part of the deal with the benefactor. Chuckling to himself he sighed as an incoming video call appeared over his Hud,
Speak of the devil he thought to himself as he picked it,
A man in what could only be described as an Oni mask appeared, snow white hair with a long silver flowing robe on his body. Ajax narrowed his eyes, tsking in annoyance,
“Oh, he sent you” he said nonchalantly,
“Indeed ajax, now report on the subject” the masked man said,
“You know, you really do get on my nerves for an underling below me in level” ajax said picking at his fingers with his katana,
“And you would do well to treat me with respect as I represent the ruler, you wouldn’t want to annoy him now, would you?” the man replied,
Ajax stared hard at the masked man, well aware that he couldn’t say his name as this was a public channel and anyone could be listening in,
“He has broken into the realm of an initiate, along his own path and going along well” ajax reported, consciously omitting that the boy had his own body path along with a battle core,
“Good, should he get to advocate on his own, then your deal- “
“my deal, was to ensure the boy had a sword path and escaped the dungeon of his own volition, whatever your…. ruler is thinking of using the boy for is none of my concern, of course, as long as it doesn’t lead to his demise on purpose, you see, young Moyo is my disciple, we might not share the same path but I assure you he is under my banner and may represent me in the coming….competition” ajax said, eyes narrowed,
‘As you would represent my ruler in the coming one too” the masked man said,
“of course, that was part of the deal too, your meddling in his life is enough for now, what do you think would happen when he leaves this dungeon and realizes the highest members of his race are barely in the 20th levels with just a mere class and no distinct paths?, what do you think other factions would do?” ajax replied, the meaning clear,
“My ruler does not intend to meddle further with this lower lifeform, not until he proves his worth to the collective worlds in the archailect anyways. As long as he remains on his planet and hasn’t ascended of his own power as an advocate, there will be no meddling from our side of course” the masked man said with finality,
“Good, now piss off, you’re cutting in on my nap time” ajax said dismissively,
“Do not fail him ajax, for your sake” the man said,
With a burst of battle intent that made the wyrm shiver, ajax killed the connection. Nibbling on a stalk of grass, he let his intent flow around the dungeon, finally seeing his disciple going toe to toe with four razorbacks of level 35, he grunted, the child was holding is own, perhaps when next they met, he would need to beat more training into him, a swordsman didn’t hold his own,
A swordsman cut his way through…
Moyo dashed into the jungle, cuts all over his skin as he ran and dodged the acids the razorbacks spewed, to be honest he thought his titans shield body could handle any form of poison, he was mistaken, this one was more corrosive than the rucar, eating into his flesh with his titan’s wrath skill barely keeping up with it. Diving under another shot of the sticky poison he swung his pole, summoning battle intent from his core to fly through the air towards the razorbacks. Slicing off one of the spiders’ legs as it screeched, falling to the jungle floor.
With a flourish he blasted forward with all his strength, feeling his bones creak with the force of the step, teeth chattering as he appeared in front of the creature. With a barely restrained growl he sliced off the head of the creature, not before it spewed poison directly into his eyes. Cursing in pain he dived to the side, dodging a sharpened leg of another razorback as his battle intent gave him a slight warning. Tumbling into the forest he rolled and crouched, his eyes were slowly healing and by the love of God they burned and hurt so bad, stifling the pain in his chest he analyzed his situation.
He was in deep shit, but he wouldn’t go down this way, his will would not allow him. Steadying his heart beat he analyzed his situation, ignoring the dings of his skills leveling up. Hearing a rustle behind him he whirled, eyes still blurry as he deflected the pincer of another of the razorbacks on his pole. It was evident they were playing with him, feeling slightly woozy as his body fought the effects of the poison, Moyo growled, summoning battle intent to fill the air, not in one point but around him. feeling the effect in his skull as a migraine crashed into his head, his willpower barely holding on, reminding him that he needed to invest in that attribute more. The battle intent from his core swirled around him in a tight cocoon, deflecting the pincers and legs of the spiders as they tried reaching him, a notification came up directly in his front, unable to ignore it,
Congratulations! You have created skill: domain of blades(u)1
Panting he blasted forwards, feeling his body coming in contact with that of a razorback he swung his pole infused with battle intent at the spider, slicing it in two and ending its death throes. He was barely standing now, but he bit into his lip, huddling behind a tree as he tried meditating quickly, checking his stats and seeing he was at level 32 with 50 points to share to his attributes, he quickly dumped 30 in willpower, and 20 in endurance. Immediately he felt the strain on his mind ebb, his fatigue reduced a little. Breathing easily, he stayed still, meditating as he crawled quietly towards the two razorbacks he had killed, retrieving the uncommon aether shards from their bodies and crushing them immediately, refining them into battle intent for his hungry core, while at the same time groaning as his body mended back, bones snapping in place.
Titans’ wrath had grown to 85, with a little control he activated blood absorption, the notification informing him that his body had assimilated the poison of the razorbacks as a perk. Internally he felt back in shape somewhat, the poison no longer ravaging his body and his bones mended, eyes cleared. Moyo stood up, cracking his neck as he calmly began walking towards the noise of the two remaining razorbacks. The spiders saw him, screeching as they shot towards him, moyo smiled, blasting forwards also as he held his pole tighter, deflecting a strike from a razorback and activating domain of blades
Domain of blades(u)3!
The blades that revolved around him tore into the razorbacks as they screeched, with the swiftness of a swordsman he lobbed off the head of the first razorback, slicing the second in two also. Switching off domain of blades he sat on the ground of the jungle, resting on a tree as he sighed in relief. Bringing up his stat table he stared it,

Without a thought he dumped the 40 points into willpower, bringing it closer to 300. Closing his eyes as he meditated, crushing the aether shards from the remaining two razorbacks, moyo smiled,
This was fun…

Until Death? (Refleshed Version)
Ever been a god? Well, I was! Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea. Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing. Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! Or so I hope? ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it. Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series. So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever. And now the disclaimer everyone knows: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)
