《Solitude's Requiem》A Seer's Blessing

"home you say, wanderer? I wonder what that would be. However, we have derailed from our goal long enough."
"Well, it seems you know a lot about me so I would like to have some answers of my own."
"What answers do you search?"
"You seem capable of knowing enough to go outside. Yet Randyl talks as if he's the only one capable of doing that. Why is that?"
"This is the city of Luciel wanderer. But I've been blinded and now I resemble Asariel. The church has been on my back ever since."
"This place has a church?" I ask flabbergasted.
"yes, Mind you it's not a church of redemption or anything like that. Could you see any of these demons and devils actually praying? No, I didn't think so." She says with her typical soft tone. Yet I could hear her tone get a little bitter.
"So how does the church even exist then?"
"The church has the authority for giving names and Luciel's blessing. Luciel's blessing gives more power and the name gives the recognition that you are one of the demons worthy of carrying her burden."
"Would that be something I should strive for?"
"I would even say it's necessary for your goal." She immediately answers before continuing.
"If your goal is finding this new home. Then I would guess that you will have to cross to Genesias. It's the church who has a lot of information about things like that."
"How should I try and gain this Blessing?"
"Become prominent in the arenas of the blood district. If you could show them that you're a strong demon yet named. then they could be very interested in what you could achieve."
I think about the advice Leilaya has given me. It seems I need to try and gather favor with the church. Otherwise, I won't be able to travel to Genesias. Will I be able to find it there? I don't know but I see no reason not to try. Whilst in the middle of my thoughts, her voice rings out once more to me.

"We should probably end our conversation here. You have a lot to think about. Let me give you what you came here for in the first place."
As soon as she finished speaking I could see a runic white eye glow through her blindfold. She beckons me to come closer to her. I come closer and as soon as I stand next to her. She places her hand against my forehead and speaks.
"Valaris Zatar Amoulis"
Her runic eye starts glowing once more and I can feel some sort of "clarity" rushing into my mind.
"I've given you seer's sight." She says as if I should already know.
"What does that mean? I ask hoping it's something cool.
"It helps in deciphering unknown magic and helps in understanding rituals."
She pauses before she continues to speak.
"The one who seeks power should first seek knowledge after all."
I give her a nod as I make my way out of the small house. Randyl who seems to have heard me leave quickly follows me out before speaking.
"I knew that great sir would get my mistress approval. Randyl is very excited about all the things great sir will do."
"You say that as if the reason for me bringing me here wasn't me threatening to kill you."
Randyl's face gave me a mischievous smirk before running back inside.
'Strange...very strange' I think to myself.
'I guess I should get back to Ashmodai and see if I just have to eat this stupid card or if there is more to it.'
