《The Magic Kings War》Into the underworld final part.

Magic Training Arc.
Valoran now stands in front of the multicoloured flames.
Valoran sees an endless ocean of rainbow coloured flames.
"These flames are known by the name Hell-Fire." - Artemesia explained.
"I see" - Valoran replied.
"These flames are so powerful that the time stop does not affect them. They burn away the fundamentals of everything for example the fundamentals of the time stop itself.
These flames are so powerful that they burn everything. Immortality, Magic, Abstract beings and powers and even Fundamentals. Indestructible and any Resistances have no meaning"-Artemesia explained.
"What your saying is that these flames have infinite power. That's why you believe forging my sword here using the red metal ore which can absorb some of the flames would make this the perfect scenario" - Valoran said.
"Yes. These flames are beyond infinite power. I was able to absorb a tiny portion of those flames and felt my power rising beyond limits." - Artemesia said.
"They are also fused with infinite amounts of holy magic. This can also be useful when facing off against beings who are vulnerable to holy magic." - Artemesia explained.
"Wait. You said that the red metal was beyond just being indestructible. How could I melt it to forge my sword?" - Valoran asked.
"You see the metal has a consciousness. The moment you pulled out the red giant metal ore from the ground it accepted you as its property in a way. This means if you want it to become weak it will become weak. If you want it to become beyond indestructible it will become beyond indestructible."-Artemesia explained.
"I understand. Well then let us begin." - Valoran said.
Valoran uses creation magic to create a forging table and a hammer to forge his sword with.
He then breaks off a piece of the giant ore and starts to forge his sword.
He then uses telekinesis to lift the metal ore to vaporize all the rocks that surround the actual metal.
"What a beautiful colour" - Artemsia said.
"Indeed it is" - Valoran replied.
As the rocks got vaporized the metal begins to melt.
As the metal melts it turns into a red metal liquid.
He then pours the red metal liquid into a sword shape cut out.
He then uses water magic to cool off the metal.
"Now the sword has a shape but it is unrefined" - Valoran said.
He then takes the hammer and shapes the sword just a little more according to his liking.

As he hammering at the sword Artemesia asks Valoran something.
"Valoran. With all your power do you fear anyone?"
Valoran is a little startled by that odd question but he answers her anyway.
"I don't fear anyone if that is what you mean. I do fear that one day I will kill everyone by accident.
You see I suppress my power to the absolute maximum reaching close to 0. If I don't I lose control and could kill all my friends and my mother and the entire world just by going a little over what I am currently using"-Valoran said with a little sad voice.
"Friends. What is it like to have friends?" - Artemesia asked.
"It's beautiful. You get to laugh. Train. Spend time together and they support you no matter what. I would do anything to protect them. " - Valoran said with a smile.
As Artemesia hears all this a single tear is streaming down her face.
"That does sound beautiful. I never had any friends." - She said with a sad voice.
"Valoran would you want to become my first friend?" - She asked with a smile.
"Of course. I am glad to have another friend" - Valoran replied with a smile.
"I am so happy to have a friend" - Artemesia replied with a big smile.
"I am glad to hear that" - Valoran replied with a smile.
"I am sorry for hurting you earlier. I should not have stapped you threw the chest when you entered here" - Artemesia said with sincerity.
"It's fine. The truth is I let you stab me. Normally when any weapon or physical attack comes near me my body either phases threw the attack like a spirit or ghost, or my body becomes so hard that it destroys the weapon that tries to injure me. When I am really mad I vaporize the object into nothingness.
Letting you stab me was the best way to calm you down.
Besides even destroying all my organs wouldn't affect me in the slightest. "-Valoran said with a smile.
" I am glad you can forgive me"-Artemesia replied.
Finally, after hours of hammering and refining the sword, he has completed the process.
He is now holding a pure crimson red blade.
"You should give it a name." - Artemesia replied.
"Uhmm how about.... Disaster.?" - Valoran asked.
"Why call it that? - Artemesia replied.
"Because I will bring disaster, destruction, and death to anyone foolish enough to stand in my way. Especially the Gods will soon taste this blade. "-Valoran replied.

"It is your blade to name" - Artemesia replied.
"I store the rest of the metal in a different dimension. Could be useful later on." - Valoran said.
"That would be wise" - Artemesia replied.
With that Valoran opens up a portal and transports the red metal to a different dimension.
"Valoran I have one more gift for you." - "Artemesia said.
" What is it? "-Valoran replied.
"Absorb the hellfire. With your power, you can handle it beyond infinite power. This way you can use that power to balance and control your power better." - "Artemesia said.
"This fire also further shields you from any attack. Such as Magic, abstract powers, physical attacks and the power to nullify any resistances and nullifications. It also increases your already beyond infinite immortality." - Artemesia explained.
"But if I do absorb the hellfire won't it become utter darkness since you can't use magic here? If you were to use fire magic the flames won't burn since they will be frozen in time the second you tried too?" - Valoran asked.
"It will. But it's fine. I have spent billions and billions of years here. I don't mind. Please you said you are scared of accidentally killing everyone with your power. This will help you not to do it. As a friend I am begging you" - Artemesia said.
"Alright" - Valoran replied.
With that Valoran opened up his fragment and started to absorb the entire hellfire.
"This is a lot of power" - Valoran said as he continues to absorb the hellfire into his fragment at a very fast pace.
After a while, the flames become less and less.
"Keep going. " -Artemsia said.
More and more flames disappear into Valoran's fragment.
"Almost done. " - Said Artemsia.
And finally, the underworld becomes completely dark due to Valoran absorbing all the hellfire which was the only light source.
Until Valoran begins to Illuminate in different colours as hell flames envelop Valoran's body.
" You did"-Artemsia said.
"Your right I have more control over my power and I can suppress them a little further to gain better control." - Valoran said.
Both Artemsia and Valoran make their way back to the gate.
"You do realise that when I go through that gate everything will become dark." - Valoran said to Artemsia.
"It's fine. The curse kept me here for so long I don't mind" - Artemsia replied.
"Will you come to visit me? Since we are friends." - Artemsia asked with a smile and tears in her eyes.
"No." - Valoran replied.
Artemsia lowers her head in sadness and misery over Valoran's answer.
"I understand. You hate the Gods and I am one of them-" - Artemisia gets interrupted.
"I don't need to visit you when you are coming with me of course." - Valoran said with a smile.
"Impossible. I am destined to be kept here for all eternity. Thanks to the curse" - Artemisia said.
"Impossible does not exist in my vocabulary. I choose my own destiny I can change yours. I can lift the curse. We will also take all those people who are frozen in time." - Valoran said.
"You mean it I can be free?" - Artemisia asked shocked.
"Yes."-Valoran replied.
Valoran then races his arm and incases every person inside a magic bubble and lifts them up to leave the underworld.
" Let's go." - Valoran replied.
He destroys the curse that binds Artemsia to the underworld with a single eye gaze.
"Alright the curse has been destroyed." - Valoran said.
He opens the gate with his magic.
They walk through the gate and.....
"Open your eyes..." - Valoran said to Artemsia.
Artemisia slowly opens her eyes and she cannot believe it.
"It is really the other side," Artemsia said and starts to cry for joy.
"It is. Let's get out of this dungeon." - Valoran said.
Valoran casts teleportation magic and both Valoran and Artemsia as well as all the people are transported back to the surface.
"Alright I'll leave them here." - Valoran said.
Valoran casts healing magic to return some strength to the people.
He then notices Artemsia standing on a hill further away.
He walks up to her.
She can see the entire kingdom of Halivaara and the beautiful blue sky and flowers blooming.
"Thank you for freeing me." - Artemsia said.
"Thank you for being my friend" - Valoran said.
"It's so beautiful" - Artemsia said.
"What will you do?" - Valoran asked.
"I hoped I can stay with you? I am tired of being alone" - Artemsia asked.
"I am sure mother would be fine with that" - Valoran said.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading! A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.
