《The Magic Kings War》Atticu's problem

Magic Duel Arc.
It has been three days since Valoran left the underworld's domain and freed Artemesia from her eternal prison.
The week has passed and now the students must present their magic swords to Professor Asparata the next day.
The day starts with Valoran and his teammates which are: Atticus, Selina and Biatrix greeting each other and being relieved that all of them have managed to create a magic sword without being harmed.
"Morning everyone" - Atticus said with a smile.
"Morning. I am glad that all of us managed to finish the special assignment" - Selina said.
"I am also glad you are all okay" - Biatrix said.
"I cannot wait to see your swords" - Valoran said.
After the friendly exchange Professor, Asparata then enters the class hall.
"Okay students. As you are aware, today all of you should have finished forging your own magic sword" - Professor Asparata said with energy and a friendly attitude.
She then asks all the students to take out their swords from their sheaths.
"Please take out all your swords so that I can see your craftsmanship" - Professor Asparata said.
Everyone then pulled out their swords from their sheaths.
As Valoran pulled out his sword everyone was amazed at Valoran's silver sword and the way it has been forged was beyond the skills of any student.
(Flashback)
3 days prior.
"Before we go home. I must obtain a metal ore to forge a regular magic sword." - Valoran said to Artemesia.
"Is it because Disaster (Valoran's crimson blade) is too powerful?) - Artemesia asked.
" Yes. Disaster is only meant for my worst and most powerful enemies. Not for students and other smaller enemies that I might face in the future"-Valoran explained.
Valoran heads back into the dungeon to obtain a silver metal ore.
Artemesia followed him of course as she is so glad to be free once again.
"How is the academy?" - Artemesia asked curiously.
"It is.... Better than I expected it is something I do enjoy now. I have 3 friends who are my teammates who are joyful and supportive. I also have a teacher who loves teaching and respects her students. I do run into trouble from time to time but that does not bother me in the slightest"-Valoran explained.

"That sounds wonderful" - Artemesia said.
As they walked into the dungeon and once again kill everything that tries to harm them, they eventually find a silver metal ore and leave the dungeon.
"There it is. That's the ore that I need" - Valoran said.
"Great news" - Artemesia said.
With Valoran obtaining the metal ore they leave the dungeon to head home.
"Let's go" - Valoran said.
Valoran casts teleportation magic and both of them arrive at his home.
"We are here" - Valoran said.
"It is a beautiful village" - Artemesia said.
He then knocks on the door. As soon as he did his mother Aelina rushes out and hugs her son.
"Valoran you are home. Are you hurt? Are you okay?" - She asked with excitement but also a little concern.
"I am fine mother" - Valoran replied.
Aelina then notices Artemesia with Valoran.
"Valoran who's that beautiful woman with you?" - Aelina asked.
"Perhaps we should go inside. It's best that nobody listens." - Valoran said.
After Valoran, Artemesia and Aelina went inside his home.
Valoran explains everything that Artemesia is a war goddess and that she has been imprisoned in the underworld since almost time began and that Valoran has freed her from this destiny and fate by annihilating it completely, and that she has nowhere to go.
Then Aelina says:
"I see. First, off Valoran I am very shocked that you went to the underworld. You lied to me." - Aelina said sounding disappointed.
"I am sorry Moth-" - Valoran gets interrupted.
"-I am glad that you saved her from this cruel fate and destiny and fate. She seems to be very nice and kind. I would be happy offering her a place here." - Aelina said with a smile.
Hearing this Artemesia got very happy and thankful to be able to stay with Valoran.
"Thank you so much Ms Silver" - Artemesia said.
"Please call me Aelina" - Aelina replied.
With that Artemesia has been staying with Valoran and his mother.
Valoran also forged his normal magic sword.
Present-day:
"Wow, Valoran. Your craftsmanship is amazing" - Selina said.

"She's right." - Atticus followed up.
"It is well done" - Biatrix also said.
Professor Asparata was also impressed that a Student was able to craft a sword this elegant and this precise.
"What a nice sword Valoran" - Professor Asparata.
She walks towards Valoran to grab his sword.
When she attempts to lift the sword she notices that:
"Wow, it's extremely heavy.
"Yh it is a little on the heavy side." - Valoran said.
"Well as long as you can wield it's just fine" - Professor Asparata said with a smile and walked back towards the front.
Then she starts to announce a few things.
"Alright, class. I have a few announcements to make.
First off I am happy to announce that all of you have done a good job on forging your swords.
Next, the magic duels are coming up in 1 month. It's a magic duel between students from a different magic Academy. Since we are the number 1 academy we will face off against the Halivaara Second Class magic academy. For over 300 years we always won and came out victorious. However, they have gotten a lot stronger and it was very close last year.
As for the rules you can use magic and your swords to fight your opponents.
More rules will be uttered to you once we get closer to the event.
After that, the lesson has finished and Valoran and his teammate decide to train.
They arrive at a training area.
"Ahhh" - Biatrix screamed as Valoran blasts her with a magic attack.
"Biatrix your magic control is impressive now try to use more advanced magic and also focus now on your swordsmanship" - Valoran instructs her.
With one swing of his sword, he throws Atticus back against the wall.
"Atticus you are still lacking confidence in your abilities. You must overcome that you will soon face off against other students in front of a huge crowd" - Valoran instructs Valoran.
"Ahh!" - Selina is also thrown hard against the ground.
"Selina you have come far since the begging your magic control has improved by a vast amount. Now just like Biatrix focus on your swordsmanship and try to focus on more advanced spells." - Valoran instructs Selina.
Valoran, Biatrix, Selina and Atticus continued to train for a few hours since the sun settled down.
"Enough for today"-Valoran said.
"Good job everybody" - Atticus said to everybody.
During the training, Valoran noticed that besides Atticus is not as confident as the other two, he also noticed that something else is bothering him.
"Atticus. May I speak with you?" - Valoran asked.
"Sure" - Atticus replied.
"Is something bothering you?" - Valoran asked.
Atticus is shocked that Valoran would ask him that.
He also knows that Valoran is too intelligent to lie to him and he says:
"Remember when you helped me and fixed my necklace?" - Atticus asked.
"I do" - Valoran replied.
"My sister gave that to me. She has been in the hospital for a long time. The doctors are giving her one week until she dies." - Atticus says with tears in his eyes.
"Can I see her?" - Valoran asked.
"Uhmm I think that would be ok." - Atticus replied.
Both Valoran and Atticus made their way to the Halivaaran hospital to which Atticus' sister is admitted.
"My sister is admitted here" - Atticus said.
Atticus and Valoran made their way toward the hospital room where Atticus' sister is admitted.
They arrive at the room and Atticus opens the door.
After Atticus and Valoran enter the room and he sees Atticus' big sister, a beautiful human girl in her early 20s.
"This is my sister" - Atticus said.
"What's her name?" - Valoran asked.
"Her name is Elana" - Atticus said.
"What a nice name." - Valoran said.
Valoran then uses his magic eyes to see what's wrong with her.
"I see. I know what's wrong with her." - Valoran said.
"What is it Valoran?" - Atticus said with curiosity.
"Her fragment is...

Beyond?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— My world faced its end, but I refused to perish with it! So I intercepted a summoning ceremony from another world. One moment!? My summoner tried to summon a demon? Fuck it, I think it's better to break the contract and do my own thing... or not? Why is Mrs. Sacrifice hugging me? And why am I suddenly a child!? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am not entirely sure how this fiction will turn out. And I am not sure on the tags either. They may change. Bear with it. As always, how chapters turn out is up to my mood.

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.
