《Green Life》A dragon in my house! - chapter 64

Hina had the same clothes as before when I left the house.
As she greeted me, Akemi walked near my side after looking around the hallways.
[ Are we there yet? ] ( Akemi )
[ Yeah. ] ( Hatsuko )
After answering her question I directed my sight towards Hina who was standing at the entrance of my apartment.
She had a tense look on her face.
[ U-um... Is she someone you know? ] ( Hina )
She asked me while looking at Akemi who was by my side.
Why does this matter to her?
Do I need permission to bring someone inside my own house?
[ Yeah she is. ] ( Hatsuko )
I walked inside as I said that to her.
While looking at me, Akemi followed me inside. Shiro also jumped off my hood and started walking on the floor.
The moment I entered the living room, I could see something different.
The room had some plants around, paintings that covered some space on the walls, and decorative things that were laying around.
This entire room had taken a different atmosphere than before.
It was as if the room had more life. It was also cozy to look at.
[ Oooh, this place is really interesting! ] ( Akemi )
She said as she started looking around the house.
[ D-do you like it? ] ( Hina )
Hina asked me. She had already closed the main door and had come to the living room where I was.
[ It's okay. ] ( Hatsuko )
I casually said.
[ I s-see... ] ( Hina )
She looked down as she heard my answer.
I noticed this before I came here, but why is she stuttering?
When I first met this bitch, she hated me to the point of trying to kill me but now, she has totally changed as if she was a different person.

She had lost all of her pride and decided to come to my place.
[ Hey, what's that smell? ] ( Akemi )
Akemi came back here after exploring my bedroom.
Her face showed great interest in that smell.
Is this smell coming from outside?
No.
The windows are closed!
[ Oh, r-right, I have made dinner so you can join us to eat. ] ( Hina )
Hina said to Akemi with a wry smile on her face.
We all went to the kitchen area near the living room and sat on the dining table.
The food was already prepared and served.
Did she cook this?
I'm actually surprised that this kind of girl would know how to cook.
The main dish was rice with chicken meat.
In the middle of the table was a bowl of salad.
[ So, this is human food! It looks so delicious!! ] ( Akemi )
Akemi reacted to the plate which was in front of her.
On the other way of the table was Hina wich was looking at Akemi like "What is she talking about?".
It was as if she had never tasted any human food before.
She is a dragon after all, and I don't think a human would offer her food.
Maybe she could have transformed herself into a human and pretended to be one of them.
Akemi reached out her arm and grabbed the rice off the plate with her bare hand and shoved it into her mouth.
[ Hmmmmm!!! It's sho gud! ] ( Akemi )
She reacted with her mouth full. Her face was blushing a little while munching the rice.
[ ... ] ( Hatsuko )
Based on her personality she wouldn't have done that.
She doesn't even know the concept of table manners...
Even Hina was weirdly looking at Akemi.

.
I grabbed the spoon which was near my plate and started eating the rice.
The Smell was attractive but I wasn't sure about the taste.
As I put the first spoon full of rice in my mouth, I started tasting it.
The rice was warm and spicy which could make me want to eat more.
[ I-is it to your taste? ] ( Hina )
Hina asked with a worried look.
[ It's whatever... ] ( Hatsuko )
I said as I kept eating the rice.
While I was eating, I took a glance at the kitchen area.
It was full of kitchen tools, some fruits, a water glass, and a rice cooker.
Those were some of the things that caught my eyes.
Before I could realize it, Akemi had already finished her food.
[ That was so good! Human, give me more!! ] ( Akemi )
She demanded as if it was a normal thing to do.
Hina looked at me with a troubled face waiting for an answer from me.
I kept eating without minding them.
.
.
.
.
Akemi was satisfied after eating the rest of the rice on the cooker. Hina was surprised by how much Akemi could eat.
After I finished eating, I took a look around the house.
There were curtains on the windows, some scented candles over the tables, and some furniture.
I went over to my bedroom.
There were new sheets over my bed, a big carpet on the floor.
I could see that she has bought a lot of stuff.
Well, I did order her to buy anything necessary for this house.
[ Ah Hatsuko! Here is your debit card! ] ( Hina )
She gave me back my debit card.
I didn't know how much she has spent but I don't mind it since I will earn more from Kenji.
[ By the way... is that girl sleeping here tonight? ] ( Hina )
She asked me with a worried look.
[ Yeah. She'll be staying with me for some time. ] ( Hatsuko )
I hated to say this, but it's true.
I can't get rid of her unless I somehow remove the soul contract.
But even if I somehow managed to remove the contract, I still need to use her.
The energy crystal!
She knows the location of that artifact.
If I absorb the energy of that artifact I might get new skills!
Right now, Akemi was looking outside the window together with Shiro.
[ Is sh-she s-sleeping with you by any chance?! ] ( Hina )
She started freaking out as she asked me that.
[ No, you will sleep with her! ] ( Hatsuko )
[ Eh?! ] ( Hina )
A blank reaction appeared over Hina's face as she heard my response.
