Hina had a blank expression on her face for some seconds before coming back to reality.

[ She will sleep with me? ] ( Hina )

[ Yeah. Akemi can sleep anywhere in the living room, I don't care. ] ( Hatsuko )

[ B-but why is she sleeping here? ] ( Hina )

She kept on asking the same question. I don't really need to make up any excuses for her.

[ Do you really think you have the right to complain here? ] ( Hatsuko )

She looked away as she heard me.

[ I'm sorry... ] ( Hina )

Those are the words that I never expected to come out of her mouth.

She went to the living room with a blanket in her hands which she got from the closet.

Oh right, Shiro hasn't eaten anything today.

As I thought that, I went back to the living room.

[ Shiro, you hungry? ] ( Hatsuko )

I called out to Shiro. She was together with Akemi, watching the outside view through the window.

The moment Shiro heard her name, she rushed towards me.

[ Meow!! ] ( Shiro )

I started looking for a bowl on the kitchen's cupboards.

After finding one, I placed it on the floor where Shiro was.

She was looking at me with exciting eyes just like usual.

[ Oh, sorry, I forgot to buy any cat food... ] ( Hina )

Realizing what I was doing, Hina apologized as she was watching me from the living room.

Well, I don't think Shiro would eat any of the cat food.

I tried it once, and she didn't even bother putting it inside her mouth.

I created a small knife and started cutting up my wrist. The bowl was being filled with my blood.

[ H-HATSUKO!! What are you doing?!?!? ] ( Hina )

She started freaking out as she rushed towards me.

What's her problem?

She grabbed my arm where I was trying to cut and tried to throw my knife away. But my grip was far stronger and it was impossible for her to even make me move an inch.

[ What do you think you're doing? ] ( Hatsuko )

[ No, what are YOU doing? Cutting yourself like that!? ] ( Hina )

She returned my question with another question.

[ I'm trying to feed Shiro. ] ( Hatsuko )

She was so confused and unsure of what I was saying.

It didn't even take a second for my wound to heal.

She showed a shocked look.

[ F-feeding your cat?! Your blood? ] ( Hina )

She didn't know what to say about this. A puzzled look appeared on her face.

[ That thing looks delicious... ] ( Akemi )

Noticing Hina's loud voice, Akemi approached us. She was looking at the bowl of blood with a hungry expression.

[ H-how is that delicious?! ] ( Hina )

She said to Akemi. Hina couldn't even understand what was going on anymore.

[ I'm not sure, but that blood has an attracting smell. ] ( Akemi )

Akemi responded to Hina while looking at Shiro's food. She slightly put her index finger over her lips.

[ Can I also have some? ] ( Akemi )

She asked me while putting an attractive look on her face. Her eyes were sparkling as if telling me "Let me try it too!"

[ I think I'm losing common sense here... ] ( Hina )

Hina went and sat down back at one of the sofa chairs.

[ That's only for Shiro! ] ( Hatsuko )

I don't want anyone else to drink my blood.

Especially a dragon.

I don't know what she might do with it.

She managed to drink some of my blood when she tore off my arm. That's how she managed to form a soul contract with me.

Or that's what she told me.

[ Is that so... ] ( Akemi )

A disappointed voice came out of her mouth.

Does my blood smell?

I tried drinking my own blood once, and it had no taste and no smell.

It was as if I was drinking warm water without a taste.

As I was watching Shiro drink all the blood from the bowl I decided to head to my bedroom.

Akemi started following me as well.

[ What are you doing? ] ( Akemi )

She asked me.

[ Going to sleep. ] ( Hatsuko )

[ Alright then! ] ( Akemi )

She showed a happy face as she kept following me.

[ So why are you following me? ] ( Hatsuko )

I asked her.

[ To sleep with you? ] ( Akemi )

She responded as if it was obvious that she was going to sleep with me.

[ You'll be sleeping in the living room with Hina! ] ( Hatsuko )

I harshly responded to her without a care.

[ Eh? I don't want to sleep with another human! ] ( Akemi )

She started complaining.

Doesn't she realize that I'm a human as well?? Or does she not consider me a human at all?

[ Not my problem! ] ( Hatsuko )

I refused as I entered my own bedroom.

[ But you know it's going to be faster for me to recover if we sleep together! ] ( Akemi )

Akemi suggested even after I told her to stop following me.

[ I don't care about your recovery. ] ( Hatsuko )

I responded.

[ Eeh? But if I don't recover a certain amount of my power, I won't be able to find the crystal... ] ( Akemi )

She mentioned that she could find the crystal, and now she is saying the opposite?

Is she making up things now?

[ You expect me to believe that? ] ( Hatsuko )

[ ...Fine but you'll sleep on the floor! ] ( Hatsuko )

After having second thoughts, I finally agreed.

Nothing good will come if I stay near a dragon.

I don't know when she might attack me and I don't know how true are the things she just said.

But I need to get that crystal!

[ Okay! ] ( Akemi )

She celebrated with herself.

She laid on the floor near my bed.

It didn't take long for Shiro to follow me in as well.

She came here as well and started sleeping with me on the bed.

There was nothing much to do, so I decided to sleep as well.

Ugh, what is it...

As I opened my eyes I saw Hina who was looking at me with a shocked face.

It was already morning outside.

[ What is it? ] ( Hatsuko )

I asked her.

I was still sleepy so I couldn't understand what was going on.

[ D-don't t-tell me you did it!! ] ( Hina )

She started stuttering as she pointed her finger at my bed.

What is she talking about?

I looked at my side and saw Akemi...

Didn't I tell her to sleep on the floor?

Akemi was on my side while hugging my arm.

My arm was sandwiched between her chest and her thighs. She was using my arm as a body pillow. I could feel her warm and soft body over my arm. It was as if my arm was resting at something comfortable.

Hina was blushing as she was watching us like that.

[ Oi, Wake up! ] ( Hatsuko )

I started shaking her body as I tried to wake her up.

[ hmm... Hatsuko? ] ( Akemi )

As she got up she looked at me with her sleepy eyes.

[ Good morning Master... chu... ] ( Akemi )

[ !? ] ( Hatsuko )

[ Wuah?! ] ( Hina )

As she was saying that she placed her soft lips over mine without a care.
