~~(Sometime later)~~

It has been a while since Leanna came down and she has stayed with me since then just to keep watch over me. Plus after going to the treaty line, I had introduced her to the pack which was tense at first but they had started to get along with each other even though Leanna stayed on the other side of the line.

Now finally it was holiday time and I had finished packing up my suit case of clothes & such when Leanna walked into my room. "Hey kid, are you sure about going to your old home when this could be dangerous?" She asked me and I brushed back a piece of hair behind my ear & glanced over at her. "I'm sure and if that ass would be there then I'm going to give him a piece of my mind." I said getting Leanna to chuckle and she had her suitcase ready at her side to be packed.

"Okay and the Cullen's want to talk with you before we have to leave for the airport." Leanna said before picking up her suitcase and left my room for her own room. I had a feeling that they or rather Alice wanted to talk to me about my trip to Pompeii and even though I did feel that maybe it would be a bad idea, I wanted to see if by chance that my brother would show up there so then I could know why I was told that lie of him being dead.

Soon I put on my sun glasses and sprinted over to the Cullen's house to see Alice standing up on the roof. She jumped down and landed almost in front of me & right away I had the feeling she wanted to talk with me. "Did you see something Alice?" I asked wanting to know if she did that it wasn't something dangerous and the look on her face seemed to tell me that she was not worried.

"Yes and it was you having a great reunion with your brother & you will give him a piece of your mind." She said and I grinned hearing this & then she told me that something special would possibly happen in my future. I asked her what it was, but Alice would not tell me before she sprinted inside after pulling me with her where I saw Carlisle standing still watching us.

Alice left the room and I sat down when Carlisle motioned for me to take a seat. There was a certain look in his eyes that told me that he was going to tell me something important that could be related to my trip. "Amilla, I've stayed with the Volturi for a good number of years and I've got to know Felix & Demetri." He said to me and something in his tone told me that he knew something about my brother & best friend which I hope is something good.

"D-Did any of them remember me?" I asked just wanting to know before I would get disappointed when I would meet them again. Soon I noticed that Carlisle smiled and said, "Felix sure did and he had made a painting of you from memory. But hides it from Cauis since he is well indifferent about the wolves still."

That news surprised me a bit and by the way he said it that Cauis had no idea that it was a vampire that could change his appearance. Suddenly Alice came running into the room startling me and her expression was one I could not clearly read. "Amilla, I saw you training with us for the newborn army fight." Alice said and now this confused me from her first vision & now this new vision of hers telling me that I'm not going on the trip.

"This is very confusing." I muttered out while rubbing at my head when I heard Edward speaking, "You had doubts about going to Pompeii after Carlisle told you what Cauis was like back then." Glancing over, I saw Edward standing by a doorway and I also saw Leanna standing there looking at me with a motherly expression. "Amilla, I didn't plan out the trip since I knew something like this would happen if you go to Volterra after seeing your brother so soon without having some training to keep up with the guards." Leanna said and I noticed truth in her gaze & I stood up slowly.

"I guess so and hearing about the newborns which must be some of the missing humans that I heard about, I'm worried that they could do a sneak attack on La Push & hurt some of the people there." I said having remembered that Sam would be worried that a newborn could go after Emily and that could be a big issue considering they imprinted as I was told by them before. Of course I did want to go to Pompeii, but defending my new friends would come first before any trip that I could take any time that I want after.

Of course I knew Edward was reading my mind which did not really bother me so much considering that I am mostly thinking about this Victoria woman and how I would rip apart some of the newborns that would dare to hurt my friends.

~~(Some time later)~~

It has been a while yes since when I was informed about me training to help fight the newborns, but it was pretty fun to train with the wolves and Leanna has been getting close to them too. Though during this time I would find myself thinking back about my brother and also to when I had great times with Cauis & still I can't believe the stories I hear that he's a sour puss now with an angry face on most of the time. So during the free times mostly at night I would stare at the Cullen's painting of the three leaders when I would stay over and it made me feel better about maybe someday I could see my brother soon though I will kick his ass along with Demetri's & Cauis's for lying to me.

Currently, I was in my own home hanging out with Leanna as I stared at my dagger that still was in good condition after all of these years and I wondered if my brother would react to the blade more if he doesn't see my face. "So how does it feel knowing that you'll see your old friend and brother soon?" Leanna asked with a little smile on her face as I started to play with my apple on the table to think it over. "I guess a part of me is thrilled since I could see Cauis soon, but also I'm angry with all three of them and more so with Cauis." I commented and took a bite out of my apple feeling a little bored.

"That's good considering all what has happened in the past, but I do have a feeling that Cauis truly felt love for you hard enough that he didn't want to hurt you. Besides being a newborn would make it hard for your brother to have been around you." Leanna explained as she took my dagger to look it over carefully and I finished my apple soon enough before chucking it into the trash making a perfect score. "I know, but still back then it wouldn't matter about humans and vampires interacting & telling the truth just as how Cauis told me of what he was not long after we first met." I commented and started to look for some food to munch on & sighed seeing not many snacks around in my house.

"True and you are so lucky to have your gift to enjoy human food." Leanna said trying to look jealous and I just smiled before saying that it is sometimes better than hunting for blood which is the truth even though I do drink some blood everyday so then I wouldn't end up flipping out in public. But after looking around for more snacks I growled out, "I need to go shopping for more snacks." A hand placed on my shoulder and I glanced up to see it was only Leanna as she said, "I think the stores around here might not be opened yet."

I did not like hearing that answer and went to my dagger & put it away as I said, "Then I'll travel to Seattle to get some food. It will be something different to do and I could look up some information that Alice might not be able to see if I happen to come across it." Leanna looked in different about allowing me to go, but nodded as I put on my face that I would not back down and got my money. "Fine, but just be careful and if you do run into some newborns then rip their heads off ." She told me while giving me a hug and I hugged her back before promising that I would do just that & rushed out to my car.

Noticing Alice up in a tree, I sent her a text message that I would be careful before driving out of my yard and did not see any of the Cullen's coming after me. It was going to be a nice change to get away from the supernatural life and just be on my own as I head towards the city that the newborn army would be born in & just hopefully I might encounter some of them and stop the growing numbers before they decide to head out for Forks.

But while driving I wondered about a conversation that I had with the Cullen's that discussed about the Volturi wondering why they had not bothered about this issue. It did clearly shout out that something was not right and the humans would soon notice the red eyes of the new born vampires that might dare to wonder out in the open of course during cloudy days, but it would not stop them from trying to come out in the open during sunny days.

Finally getting out of the shopping mall I had finally picked up my snacks along with some clothes that looked nice and I sighed as I put them in my car. Checking the time, I figured that I could pick up some gifts for the pack and the others to which I took out my purse again along with my umbrella just in case it did rain seeing how many dark clouds there are in the sky.

As I stepped out of the parking building, something seemed just off as I walked away from the building so much so that someone jerked me back when I was going to cross the street. "Sorry ma'am but did you drop this watch?" A smooth spoken voice asked me when I turned around and I became a bit surprised to see a well dressed in black young male with deep red eyes & he couldn't be more than a teenager whom is holding up my old pocket watch.

"Oh yes, thank you very much. This old thing always slips out of my pocket." I said while gently taking the watch from him and placed it into my purse for safe keeping. He just flashed a short smile that did show to my eyes his fangs before walking beside me to the other side of the street and I had held the umbrella up halfway over us both when it started to rain. He said thanks and I just nodded my head before asking him, "Which way are you going then um."

He introduced himself as Alec and I told him my name as Amilla & he told me where he was going which was along the way of where I was going to find an art supplies store. Of course I suspected this boy to be a vampire though I knew from the little crest on his clothing that he must be a member of the Volturi so he might be part of some guard to come down here to deal with the new born vampires and if so then he might smell vampire scent on me or tell if I'm non human.

But before we parted ways, I leaned down and quickly whispered, "Head to the west side of Seattle for a good feeding." Yet before I could get away Alec stopped me and looked mildly surprised from my words before becoming serious & asked, "How did you know?" I simply smiled and flashed out my own fangs & said in a hushed tone, "My beating heart is just an illusion so don't blame the Cullen's and deal with those troublesome newborn's before I do & it won't be pretty." With that I swiftly walked away to finish up shopping knowing that the vampire Alec would tell whomever he is with about what happened though I believe Alice would have seen it coming.
