《Welcome to the Pack (Wolf oneshot book)》Female!Wolfdog!Hunter x Wolf!Reader

All your life, you thought there was nothing but wolves inhabiting the forest. All you can remember were Packs and pure-blood wolves, all wild and free. It made you so small-minded about the wider world that was around you, that you never planned to leave your Pack. That was, until you were kicked out of your Pack. You were forced out into the forest, alone and scared, unsure what or who would greet you next.
You had come across a nice Alpha, and he had let you join his Pack. It was a new experience for you from your family Pack, and you were honestly a little hesitant to be around other wolves. You did it only so you could have some sort of shelter, and not be attacked by Loners, Rogues or be alone. They all decided to give you some time to warm up to them, though, and you took it slow. Only one of them saw through your disguise.
Today was no different; you were sitting alone, at the edge of camp. In the forest, it seemed so dark and enclosed, all the trees seeming to be clustered close together. It made you flatten your ears, stepping away as you stared into the darkness. "I swore to myself I wouldn't..." you thought to yourself as you turned away, looking across the camp. You noticed two of the wolves running towards you, not even paying attention.
You became frozen into place, not really sure what to do. Eventually, the one ahead of the other crashed into you, causing you to fall back as he pinned you down. You both stared at each other, the panic starting to set in as he stood there. "I-I'm sorry, (Y/N)!" The silver-furred male wolf stepped off, allowing you to get up. "Come on, Kiba. We're sorry again, (Y/N)." The other wolf called over, standing there. Kai just nodded, giving you an apologetic whimper before walking away.

You heard the two start to quietly bicker, and you just shook your head as you watched. 'Man. Cobalt just doesn't like me that much, huh? Though, at least Kiba's a little nicer...' you thought to yourself, watching them go. You noticed the slight glare within Cobalt's eyes. You were looking down, so you didn't notice the half-wolf walking over to you. You felt a nose press against your head, causing you to jump and stand, stepping back quickly.
"I knew you were jumpy, but not that jumpy!" A female voice barked, and as you looked up, the female wolfdog was giving you a slight smile. For some reason, you stared at her in disbelief. You never knew wolves and dogs could -or even would- come together like that. She seemed to sense this, because she just sat down and let the smile slowly disappear. "You don't like the fact I'm a half-breed, huh? It's fine. I understand." She explained calmly.
It made you shake your head, growling to yourself as you looked back at her. "No! It's just... I only thought wolves could be pure-blooded. Sorry..." you could only look into her brown eyes, flattening your ears again. She stepped up again, placing her nose against yours. "It's fine. By the way, I don't think you've grown comfortable enough here for us to meet. My name is Alaska. I know that your name's (Y/N), though." She greeted happily.
You nodded, watching her as she stretched out. "Say, wanna go hunting? I'm up for a run around the forest." She offered, standing upright. Your eyes widened, and you tensed. She seemed a little confused at first, but seemed to take the hint. "Oh. I get it. You're not very comfortable in the forest, are you? That's fine, I understand. I used to feel that way, too." She said, and you noticed the sad look in her eyes, despite her smile.

"In what way?" That question took her off guard, to say the least. It made her tilt her head, but she only shook it and looked away, towards the forest. "It's just... I've always been told I have to be one or the other. I was forced to go alone, since my family was broken from the start. I remember feeling how you feel now: scared to death. But it's okay." She walked up and rubbed her head against yours, making you feel immense comfort for some reason. "It's okay to be scared. Everything will be alright, though. I just want you to feel safe."
She took a step back, still close to you. It made you feel weird as she stepped back, almost as if you weren't safe. "But, I understand. If you ever wanna hunt sometime, come talk to me. Alright?" She asked, walking away before you could give an answer. You watched, and you felt something you hadn't felt since you were kicked out of your original Pack:
Love. Comfort. Safety. And most of all: happiness.

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
