《Welcome to the Pack (Wolf oneshot book)》Tamed!Loyal!Wolf x Abused!Wolf!Reader

You had been taken from your family Pack when you were a pup. Apparently, some humans were looking for strong wolf pups to train up and make stronger, and you were just one out of several that were taken. You all were trained to attack anybody who hurt your Masters, especially their boss. He was a powerful man, who led a group of men. From what another wolf told you, they were apparently called a 'Mafia' or 'Gang,' something on the lines of those two. This one just so happened to have Guard Wolves, instead of Guard Dogs.
The others had it great, being taken care of by their Masters. You, on the other hand, were abused by yours. He wouldn't care for you, and would yell or punish you all the time. He even lied to his boss and told him you weren't trained good enough, so now you were left in a cage in their base. It sucked. And, not to mention the fact your Master came back to either taunt you or punish you for something you didn't even think of doing. He was sick.
Today was no different; you sat on the metal flooring of that prison, looking around at the other empty cages. You huffed, bored out of your mind before an idea came to mind: what if you tried to escape? You thought that it was hopeless before, considering there'd be no way to escape unless the door just so happened to be open. Though, where would you go after that? But, you wanted out of here, and it seemed like one of the only options you had at this point.
You hesitantly started to gnaw at the bars, hoping they might break from your sharp fangs. That only made them hurt. Then, you tried clawing at the metal flooring, hoping it would somehow give way. That only left scratch marks and made high pitched screechy sounds. Then, the only option left was what you were hesitant the most about: throwing your body against it in hopes it would bust the door down. You threw your body at the cage door, slamming into it with your side and feeling the bars press against your ribs. You tried again, hearing it start to wiggle a bit when you touched it. Then, a third time, and you saw something fly off. You looked down and saw a small bolt that held the door up.

"Almost there, freedom! Here I-" you were interrupted by the sound of footsteps quickly coming towards the door to the room, and you stopped. The door flung open, and there stood the man you despised most: your old 'Master.' He looked a little agitated, and when he saw a bolt had come off the door to the cage, he quickly walked up and kicked the side roughly. You yelped in fear, thinking you'd get hit when the cage was protecting you. You looked at the side of the prison, then up at the man with bared fangs and snarling.
"Heh! think you scare ?! What a joke! You can't even have someone make a move at you without being freaked out that you'll actually get hit!" He taunted, to which you barked at him. Without warning, you threw your body once more at the door, and it started to come unhinged altogether and bust open. He flinched and stepped back quickly, and you just gave a wolf-like smirk at him. "Who's scared now, ?" You taunted, despite him not being able to understand you.
"Ugh! Stupid animal!" He growled through gritted teeth as he walked over. He bent down onto one knee, reaching out and unlocking the door to your little prison, not to mention throwing it open angrily. You didn't know what he was doing until he grabbed your roughly by the scruff, pulling you out forcefully and throwing you to the ground. "I'll teach you not to defy me, you son of a-!" He was about to yell when there was a bark. There, at the doorway, stood a white-furred wolf with gleaming red eyes. He glared at the man before him, his hackles raising.
"Wait... I thought you were supposed to be with the boss..?" He questioned to the other wolf. The wolf's response was to just bound forward, lifting his body up to put his paws on the human's chest and forcefully make him fall. Then, he pounced, biting at the man's neck, face and arms with sharp fangs. This gave you enough time to stand yourself up, backing away as you heard your old Master scream in pain. "G-Get off me, you damn mutt!" He cried, to which the white wolf just sunk his fangs deeply into his neck. Everything went quiet as you saw the man beneath the animal go limp.

"That outta take care of him. And you, (Y/N)! Are you all right?" He asked as he looked at you, but you flattened your ears and whined in confusion. You didn't know him, but he did know you. He sat as blood dripped from his muzzle. "Don't worry, my name is Rune, and I work for our Boss. My Master will make sure you get taken care of and make sure he-" he pointed his nose over to the limp body of the man. "-gets taken care of. That is, if he didn't die first." Without warning, he walked up to you, nosing your fur and trying to get you to follow. Despite the confusion and caution, you just slowly followed.
Rune turned to you as you both exited and turned down the long hallway, still walking with no signs of stopping. "I'll take you to Master, and he'll help you. He might even assign you to be able to work beside me and my brother, Silver. I know what he did to you, and I'm sorry you went through that. Don't worry, though; he'll never hurt you again." That brought comfort like you wouldn't believe, and you could only nod. "A-Alright. Thank you, Rune."

Author here, just wanted to say that if the synopsis did not sound as exciting as I had hoped it would be, try reading the first 10 chapters? I promise it won't be terrible! :) Whoops, forgot to mention, prologues don't count as chapters! If you've read this far, I might as well tell you what I was inspired by! However, this does NOT mean my story will be similiar in any way to the novels/stories/books listed below. By 'inspiration,' I refer to mainly how the characterizations plot devices, dialogue, conflict introduction/resolution, and thought processes are used and introduced in those works of literature. But in a way, you can interpret this list as, "if the author read and was inspired by these novels, then it's possible that we share similiar tastes, so I'll give this story a try." :) -Those Who Aspired to Become Gods: A darker fairy tale novel (My all-time fantasy favorite despite it being unfinished) -Forgotten Conqueror (Second all-time fantasy favorite) -Brandon Sanderson's The Reckoning trilogy (Third all-time fantasy favorite) -Kel Kade's 'King's Dark Tidings' -Brent Week's Night Angel saga -Red Rising trilogy -Infinite Realm: Monsters & Legends -Reborn: Apocalypse -Reborn: Evolving From Nothing -48 Hours a Day -The New World -Creep -Arrogant Young Master Template A Variation 4 -Can't Cure Deceit -Super Minion -Unparalleled -Unbound -Wake of the Ravager -Overgeared -Solo Leveling -The Tutorial Is Too Hard [email protected] -God of Money -A Snake's Life -The Snake Report -The Tower of God -UnOrdinary -Release that Witch!
