Alexander

Ow. My eye hurts. Trust me, don't get into any fights with sweet little girls. Its ALWAYS the quiet ones. Always.

And now Savannah's moving. Why do girls always move because of me? They MOVE! I really screwed up, again. I don't know why I didn't just stay out of Hadley. Eighth grade was great, but now that I'm back in this terrible town, thing got worse. First (almost) kissing Courtney, then getting punched by Savannah? They should call me Screw-up Alex. I suck.

I want to cut school everyday, like Angela and I used to. Oh, another screw up with Angela, add that to the list.

If you're wondering if I still like Savannah even though she punched me, yes, I do. I can't help it. She's beautiful. And I blew it.

What did I even do? I didn't start a rumor that we made out! And why would she be so offended if I did?

Thank God we're off from school for the next few days. I need a break.

A break from all of this. A break from... life. Or maybe an ending.

I've considered this before, but I never followed through.

I wrote this down on the first piece of paper I saw in my room.

**********

I heard the sirens outside. I peeked out of the shade, a police man was getting out of his car. My sister opened the door and looked at me. She mouthed the word 'sorry' to me.

"Where is... Alexander Hernandez?" Asked a large officer.

I lifted an eyebrow. "Umm, here?"

Next thing I knew, I was getting into the back of a police car. What is going on?

The car pulled up to a familiar place. Oh no... not again. Here?

Erin.

She must have read the paper when I left and called the police.

Oh no.
