Minho took Jisung hand's and started walking fast, almost running. The latter struggled to follow his pace.
-Wait, I'm not as athletic as you. Jisung said, heavy breathing.
Minho looked at him and chuckled.
-Get in shape then.
-What ?
-I'm kidding Jisung, you're pretty fit.
Jisung frowned, not sure what to think about the older's words.
They continued walking, now side by side, until they reached a little park.
Minho took Jisung to a small place right next to it.
The younger followed him inside. A few tables stood by the wall. Each for only two people. On the bare wall hung a string of colourful balls, warmly lighting the place. Pink, purple and pastel blue ruled in the room. It was overall a small place, but very warm and cozy.
Jisung sat in front of Minho.
-What is this is place.
-Cupcakes heaven. It's a coffee, well I only come here for their cakes. This is the best cupcake place of the city.
-The best? Wow, it must be something, Jisung said smiling.
A woman came from the back of the shop, walking towards them.
-Hello, you're here again. You brought someone this time. She said smiling.
-I can't keep your cupcakes for myself. He responded, smirking.
-Well, here's the cake list. Call me when you've made your choice.
-Thanks.
The two boys looked at the menu. Jisung hesitated for a while.
-You know what you want? They all seem good.
-They are. But the chocolate and nut one is my favorite, the blueberry one is right second.
-Another dilemma... Jisung chuckled.
-Let's take both? Asked Minho, rising an eyebrow.
-Nah, I want the banana and chocolate one, it's tempting me.
Minho sighed.
-Well, I guess I'll have to take both by myself.
-Seriously? You're going to eat two of them?

-When you can't choose, don't choose.
Jisung genuinely laughed.
-You're one of a kind, Lee Minho.
They called the lady to order, and kept chatting while waiting for their food.
When she came back with three big cupcakes, Jisung opened wide his eyes.
-Wow, it's no joke. They're not cheating on the price. Now I'm impressed by your eating capacity. You had lunch, right?
-Of course. You're not ready for me, Jisung. You haven't seen me eating after dance practice. I'd eat ten of those, he said pointing at the cakes.
They were walking home. Jisung hesitated to ask something.
-So... Do you still date that boy from high school?
Minho shook his head.
-Well never really dated. I loved him and told him, but it wasn't mutual.
-Oh I'm sorry.
-Don't be. I dated a guy in my first year at university but it didn't really work out. We kind of dated because we were the only gay person each other knew. We didn't have much in common.
Jisung nodded, not saying anything.
-What about you? Do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?
Jisung looked up at him, nervous.
-No. But... I don't like girls. So it'd be a boyfriend, I guess.
It felt weird, coming out of his own mouth.
-Hmm... you've dated anyone before?
-No. I haven't even come out to anyone. Before now.
Minho stopped and turned to Jisung.
-Really? Well thanks for trusting me. I'm here if you wanna talk about it, you know I won't judge you.
A shy smiled appeared on the younger's face.
-Thank you Minho.
They started walking again, silently.
-So..., Minho began, Do you want a boyfriend?

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
