《Freshman》First day

Jisung was heading to school. It was his first day at uni. He was so excited. And a little bit nervous too.
He had thought about this day a lot, imagining how it would go, who he'd meet. University meant freedom to him. He had an apartment on the campus. He was gonna live alone, without his parents. This made him happy. Relieved.
He didn't know anyone but Chan, with who he did music. He was three years older and promised Jisung to show him around.
He walked through the gates. There were so many students. Groups of friends were chatting, sitting on the grass or standing, holding their notebooks. Everybody seemed to be happy or relaxed at least. He kept going, trying to find the reception. He admired the buildings. They were old stone buildings, ivy climbing on the walls. It was stunning.
-Jisung!
He turned around and saw Chan smiling, waking towards him.
-I'm lucky to find you here, it's a big place. Have you been here for a while?
-No, I just got here.
The oldest smiled and started walking, making Jisung follow him.
-Good. Want me to show you around? Or do you wanna get your papers first?
-Hmm, let's get my papers first. I don't want to miss my first period.
Chan put his hand on Jisung's shoulder.
-Don't worry Jisungie, uni is another world. Even if you're late, nobody will scold you. Anyway, it's that way.
He pointed to the main entrance where the doors were wild open.
-Let's eat together at lunch, I'll introduce you to my friends, so you have some people you can refer to. It's not always easy to start school when you don't know anybody.
Jisung knew that, he was glad Chan was there for him. His first day at his high school was another story, not a good memory.

-Thanks, that's nice. And thank you for being there for me.
Chan stopped and looked at him, smiling.
-No problem. Call me whenever, I'm there for you.
Jisung got his student card, his first class number, and a map of the school.
Chan took him to the class and left him, showing him on the map where the cafeteria was, telling him to meet him there.
-Text me if you finish after twelve.
-Sure. Thanks again.
Jisung sat in the class. A few students were already there, and the class slowly filled up.
-Can I sit there?
A tall boy was standing by the desk. His hair was falling on his forehead and the top of his eyes. With a long coat and a bright necklace, he was very elegant.
-Of course.
-Hi, I'm Hyunjin.
-Jisung. He responded, with a light smile.
The black-haired boy sat next to him and took his stuff out on the table.
-Are you new too? He asked, glancing at Jisung.
-Yeah.
-Sweet, do you have friends here?
Jisung looked down.
-Not really, just an older friend I've known for a while.
-I see, I only know one friend too. But we're the same age, so that's nice.
The teacher came in and started the presentation of the university.
-I'll let you go now. If you're lost or have any questions, come ask me.
Jisung checked his watch as he took his bag. 11:45.
-You wanna eat with me and my friend? Hyunjin asked.
Jisung looked at him, surprised.
-Hmm... I'm meeting my friend for lunch... But thanks for asking me.
The boy smiled.
-Sure, no problem. See you around.
He turned around and left the hallway.
Jisung checked his map and went to the cafeteria.
When he got there, a lot of people were rushing inside. He looked around, looking for Chan, among the crowd.

-Jisung!
He turned around, Chan coming his way.
A hand on his shoulder, he took him inside.
-How did your morning go? Met anyone yet?
-Good, well, I talked with a guy from my class.
-That's nice, I'm happy to hear that.
They sat at a table where three boys were already sitting.
-Hey guys, this is Jisung, a friend of mine. He's new here, so take care of him.
The boys waved at Jisung, greeting him.
-I'm Woojin, I'm in fourth year. Nice to meet you.
He had short brown hair, very small eyes and a big smile on his face.
-I'm Changbin, but you know me as SpearB, I'm just a year older than you. Welcome to uni.
He was smaller than the two others and had a very sharp jaw. His black hair was cut straight on his forehead.
The third boy was quite tall, black hair falling in two parts above his eyes, his upper lip nicely curved. His eyes were black and deep, looking straight at Jisung's, staring at him, for a few seconds, too many maybe, leaving a silence between them.
-I'm Minho.

If he chose to do so, it would make me and many other people very happy. :) UPDATE: Wow! I can't believe it's been 3 years since I wrote this. I have grown a lot as a writer, and I think this story has potential, so I will edit and continue it. Thank you for all your love and support
