《Breath of Life | LoZBoTW》Divine Beast Vah Rudania

The venture from the house in Hateno Village to Goron City wasn't a long one. Not to mention, the fact that Emery found out Link didn't actually rent a house- which she should've known better- when they were kicked out the next morning. She was still mad at him about that, but he knew a way to make it up to her.
The previous night, Emery followed through with her plans and slept on the couch. Link took the bed since she insisted so much. He wondered what had changed so much that she was ashamed to share a bed with him? He couldn't say he blamed her, he just wondered if he'd done something. He never knew what was going on in that pretty little head of hers, but he hoped one day he would. He just wished she would open up to him.
They arrived in Goron City, both of them making use of their heat-resistance elixirs. From there, they were asked to find Yunobo. They went deep into the mines to find him, and soon enough they came across him. From afar, they saw he was being attacked, but a little powerful ball protected him from their hits. Link put his arm out to hold Emery back. She gave him an icy look. "He has Daruk's protection."
"You remember?" She asked. He nodded quickly.
"I once visited Daruk to help him with controlling Rudania. He couldn't figure it out. Anyways, it was soon before the return of Calamity Ganon. A boulder came flying at us, and he used his protection to send it flying the other way. I remember he was big, strong, and most of all- he believed in me." Link explained. She felt flattered that he was sharing his memory with her, but knew she had to get over whatever she was feeling towards him.
"Well, I'm glad you remember him." She said, and pushed past him. She jumped into battle, defending the Goron youth boy. Though, she hoped she hadn't come off too rude towards Link. Soon enough, the two cleared out the monsters, and the boy looked up. As he saw no threats, he let down his protection.
"Whoa, you two saved me? Thanks lots, Goros!" He grinned. He was not a typical Goron, his voice wasn't strong, and he seemed scared of a lot of things. Normally, if you met a Goron they wouldn't be scared of a thing. They could take anything out with purely just their body.
"Uh, you're boss is looking for you." Link informed him. His eyes widened.
"Boss? Looking for me? Oh no, oh no, oh no! His painkillers! I completely forgot!" He rushed past them, back the way they came. They looked to each other, then followed him back. From there, they got the task to inform Yunobo that Boss wouldn't be assisting him in running Rudania off today. That was good news for Link and Emery.

As they walked off to where Yunobo was said to be, Link began talking to her. "This is great for us. We can use Yunobo to help us weaken Rudania, then we'll board him and take him back. Good plan, right?"
"Yeah." Emery nodded, not even giving him one look. He took that as a cue to stop talking, and now he wondered what he had done, aside from lie about that house. Either way, he was going to make that up to her, so hopefully she wouldn't stay mad after that. They came upon Yunobo, who waited at the bridge.
"Uh, hey Goros! Where's Boss?" He asked. Link informed him that Boss wasn't coming, but that Link wanted to help him this time. And he wanted to board Rudania and tame it. "You want to board Rudania? Well, I think you might be the most crazy person I've ever met. Either way, we can't get the bridge down because Boss isn't here to use these canons... Wait, didn't you say you knew how to use them, Goro?"
"I do." Link nodded.
"I do too." Emery confirmed.
"Well, I guess I can help then..." He mumbled. He climbed into the canon, and using Daruk's protection Link shot him at the bridge. That knocked it down so they could get to Rudania. He looked extremely dizzy when he returned to them. "You see, I can never get past those drones. I'm so big, they always see me. Maybe you could give a signal telling me when to stop and when to go?"
"I'll, uh, whistle." Link said. He clapped his big hands together.
"That's a great idea, Goro!" He said. "Alright, well, let's go then."
Emery, Link, and Yunobo used their stealth to get around the drones until they made it to each of the canons. Each time, they shot Yunobo out at Rudania. Before long, they made it to the top and sent Rudania crawling down into Death Mountain. Emery wasn't scared, she knew she had to do this. After they tamed Rudania, they had one Divine Beast left. From there, they could go defeat Calamity Ganon. It was so close, Emery could almost taste it. She and Link glided down to Rudania in the volcano. They boarded him, and onward they went to solve the puzzles. As soon as they stepped inside, they heard Daruk's voice. "It's great to see you, little guy! I always knew you'd come back, even if it has been a hundred years. I'm glad to see this time you brought Emery with you, too. If you want to take back Rudania, you have to get a map of the place."

They set out on their quest, getting terminal one which was tricky. It was dark to begin with. With getting terminal one, they opened the top of Rudania, letting the light in. After that came two, three, four, and five. Now it was time to take back the main control unit. Each of them knew this was the part where one of Ganon's creations set out to destroy them and defend what Ganon had corrupted. "Are you ready for this?" Link asked. She nodded with determination.
"That was the last terminal, little guy and girl! Now, take back the main control unit. But beware of what lies ahead." He warned them. Link approached the control unit, and tried once more to place his Sheikah Slate to it. With no prevail, they watched as Ganon's creature came to life. Now it was up to them to fight off Fireblight Ganon.
Together, with Emery's arrows and Link's sword, they thought the creature wouldn't stand a chance. They almost had him, when Emery surprisingly missed her shot and the creature knocked Link back into the wall with a large sword attack. When he didn't get up, she knew she had to take this into her own hands. Even if she was on the verge because that was her fault. She had to put that in the back of her mind, so she could focus on the now. She had to kill this creature, so she could help Link. She quickly stocked ice arrows which would do more damage. She was saving them for something more important, but she knew now she had to use them. She shot straight at the creature, hitting him right in the eye. That got him down, so she could draw her sword out on him. Hitting him several times, he failed to get back up. She had finished him, and now she rushed over to Link. She lifted him gently, and he still didn't wake up. She saw his blood on her hands. She started shaking her head to herself.
"Link," She whispered. "Link, open your eyes."
He started to cough, inhaling and exhaling quickly. She held him tightly in her arms. He looked up at her worrisome face. "I'm..." He coughed some more. "Alright."
"No you're not... I'm so sorry, it's all my fault." She cried, tears welling up in her eyes. He'd never seen her like this before.
"No it's not," He coughed some more. "Take the Sheikah Slate and take Rudania back."
"Link-"
"Now, Emery." He demanded. She gently let go of him, and took the Sheikah Slate off his side. She placed it to the stone, and took back Rudania. Link watched with amazement. Only he was able to use it. He knew that because Zelda got frustrated because it would never work for her. Until now, it wouldn't work for anyone but him. Suddenly, Mipha's spirit appeared beside him.
"My powers are low now, but I will give you what I have to offer." She spoke softly. She healed him to some extent. He wasn't as weak, but at least he could stand now. His wounds were still open and bleeding. He knew if he hadn't had Mipha's help, he would be dead soon. Still, if he didn't get proper care he wouldn't last long. He pushed himself up, and Emery rushed to help him.
"I'm okay." He said, but he didn't push her off him like he was telling himself to. Daruk's spirit appeared in front of them.
"I know that was a rough fight for you, Link, but it had to be done. Without it, Hyrule and the rest of the world would stand no chance. Without Emery, it wouldn't stand a chance either. Both of you are our heroes." He nodded to them. "Link, take Daruk's protection. When in the fight with Calamity Ganon, use this to help you. That way you can successfully seal the darkness away with that sword of yours. Where is it, by the way?"
Before Link could question him, they were teleported out of Rudania and at the top of Death Mountain. Emery steadied Link. She knew she had to get him out of there soon. She had to make this better, it was all her fault anyways. Knowing that, she couldn't speak to him nor look at him. He was in so much pain because of her, and she couldn't bare the thought of that. Not looking at him made it easier for her to ignore what she'd done. Now she had to fix it. She had to save him. Without him, there was no way she could save Hyrule. There was no way she could go on. No matter her attempts of trying to push him away, it wasn't working. She was putting all efforts of that away now. She couldn't let him die, she cared about him too much.

Harry Potter: New World
It is enough just to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whether a series of accidents, or a coincidence, but now I have to be reborn in a completely different world.

There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper. 8 132Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope
