《The Gifted ( +1 Megan )》A Coincidence

Megan walked down the halls, heading to her class. She was in class 4/2. She moved from Canada a few months ago to live with her older sister, who was studying languages in university.
The Class 2 kids had pretty decent stuff available to them. Not as nice as the Class 1 kids, but good enough that it was similar to back in Canada.
Not like the Wi-Fi at her old school ever worked well, anyways. It was almost an upgrade.
Megan was surprised when she got in to Ritdha Wittayakom, given that it was a very prestigious school and when she applied her Thai was awful. Honestly, she was afraid it hadn't improved much.
Then she was jolted from her thoughts by a boy bumping into her as he ran past.
"Sorry!" he yelled quickly, before turning the corner and disappearing from her line of view.
A teacher ran past her, grumbling about 'stupid Class 8 kids'.
Megan shook her head and continued towards her class.
Everyone was getting stressed, as their chance to move up was coming up fast. The Class 2 kids were only one spot away from the top- if they could just do well on the test, they would make it.
Well, two spots away from the top. There was, of course, the Gifted. Megan hadn't been able to find out much about the mysterious program, she just knew that they were the best of the best. The elite. The- well, gifted.
Upon arriving at her class, she slid into the seat next to her friend Ohm. He was one of the kindest people she's ever met. Forgetful, clueless and silly, but very kind.
"Hi, Megan! Have you been studying?" Ohm asked excitedly.
"Of course. Although, I'm so new, I doubt I'll be able to move up." Megan replied.

"Oh, come on. Don't think like that! I'm sure you'll do great. Besides, you're not that new."
The teacher entered and they all fell quiet, paying attention for once as she started the lesson.

When Megan and Ohm got to the cafeteria for lunch, there was a commotion in the center of the room. Curious, they weaved their way through the cafeteria and got close enough to see what was happening. Luckily, only the 1's and 2's had been released for lunch so far, so it wasn't very crowded.
Two boys were facing off. One was a Class 1 student, the other wasn't wearing his badge. She jumped a little when she realized that the boy without a badge was the one that ran into her that morning.
"That's Wave," Ohm whispered, pointing at the Class 1 student. "He's a math and tech genius. Everyone's expecting that he'll be in the Gifted program."
"Thanks," Megan whispered, cursing her minimal knowledge about the other students.
"The other one....I don't know."
"He ran into me this morning," Megan whispered back. "He just apologized and ran off."
"Huh. Small world."
"Yeah," Megan said, frowning slightly. It was odd.
"Anyways, I don't think it's really our business," Ohm said.
"Agreed. Let's just go eat lunch." Megan said, pulling Ohm towards an empty table. Time to move on and forget about it.
But she just couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

Agent of the Alternates
This is the first Well of Souls story. Nathan Hunter, as well as five hundred other seniors at his high school, found themselves pulled into the deadly game in an alternate dimension of their school, where they had to survive against increasingly tough monsters while completing a series of Challenges as their numbers continued to dwindle with no end in sight. With no way off the property, nor any way out of the alternate and back to their real dimension, Nathan and his classmates battle for survival in the hopes that eventually, they will be freed from the game. Warning: Things will get repetitive at times, particularly after Arc 1. The reason for this becomes clear in the first couple of chapters of Arc 2. It is simply the nature of the lives they lead.

Clarent Saga: Chronicles
Based on my work on Saga of the Jewels, I've been hired by an indie game developer to write the novel for their 'novel + turn-based battles' game which is in Early Access on Steam. Of course, a 'novel + turn based battles' is a terrible idea for a game, which is why no other games like this exist, but hey, the developer is paying me. And if something's worth doing at all, it's worth doing as well as possible, so I am going to give this project my very best shot and try to make it as good as it can be. So if you read this, please give me feedback on the story to help me make it as good as it can be! Please note, for this story I have been given a pre-existent set of characters, character back-story sketches and a rough plot to work with. I also have to insert random battles into the narrative, have set characters appear in a certain order, and have the party fight fixed bosses in a certain order, all at fixed points! Please also note that this is a first draft. I will be editing and re-working this in the future and re-posting it. But I need helpful feedback, if anyone can give it. You can also find the game version of this on Steam by searching there for 'Clarent Saga: Chronicles'.

Magikind
Disclaimer: This is a low-fantasy, soft-sci-fi genre. In fact, it's a variety of genres, so don't be too put off by the tags Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some humans refused to change or adapt along with them. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought to be extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society between Eurasia, Afro-Australian Alliance and The Americas. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin enters the Eurasian army. From there, our journey unfolds. A story of how mankind could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. PS. I am also posting here: Creative Novels so don't worry, I'm not being stolen from. PSS. Join the discord server for updates on the novel: Link to Server Note: This is a rewrite of this: Magikind [Original] and a good number of people have read what I've done so far beforehand (patreon, beta readers etc, not to mentions old fans of the original etc. I've written 35 chapters so far for this rewrite), so don't be alarmed by any early reviews or ratings.
