《Is It Wrong To Not Give A Damn In The Dungeon》Dungeon fighting

I was currently on the third floor of the dungeon.

The first two floors contained monsters such as goblins and kobolds. These two monsters weren't nearly strong enough for me to fight seriously.

I planned to practice my hand to hand combat skills. My best bet would be the minotaurs. They're big and sturdy enough for me to train yet weak enough to beat.

Unfortunately, Loki familial are hunting minotaurs and I'm not allowed on their expedition. Meaning the best I can settle for are monsters below the 10th floor.

As I walked down each floor I finally reached the 5th. On this floor, goblins were bigger than most and were in groups.

I spotted a group of goblins on the left. This "group" was more like a small army. I count at least 80 of them. I can wipe them all out with a few cuts from my blade but that's not the purpose.

On the right I saw two adventures trying to get away, it seems the absurd amount of monsters was too much for them.

Adventurer 1: Hey, you better leave this floor. Those goblins will overwhelm you with their numbers and I'm sure even more will come.

But no. I paid no heed to their half-hearted warnings. Instead, I charged straight at them.

Adventurer 2: You crazy fuck. Whatever, let's leave this damn place and come back tomorrow. Better him dying than us.

Then they both left, running away like dogs.

But I'm not holding that on them. They did the smart thing to survive. And unlike me, they aren't so lucky to be able to get this strong.

But enough of that.

I was in front of the large hord of Goblins and the first thing I did was break their first line of defense with a smile roundhouse kick.

The impact from the calf dismantled the goblins in the first line. These goblins, and the one taking the full force of the attack, all evaporated into dust, but not before leaving bloodstains.

Goblins near the back jumped over the dead bodies and tried a full-frontal jump on me.

But with lots of time to spare, I reacted and got my left leg and did a widespread roundhouse kick, to kill the few from above. Some goblins split from the main attack force and tried flanking me to the right.

I spun around to the center, did a 360 back kick. Causing the goblin to be pushed back into the flank with severe injuries. I had to hold back on that to make sure it didn't immediately dissipate into dust.

Each goblin was only around 3 feet in height, this prompting me to use only my lower body.

My skill, martial might increased two levels. That was good. But I need to find something harder.

But first I got to take care of the rest.

About only 27 were left.

I got into position at the center of all the monsters. From there I did a sweep kick. Its purpose was to get rid of the remaining goblins.

And that it did. Not a single goblin remained. The after-effect from the kick, the wind caused by it, ending up being too strong for any goblins to handle. In fact, the entire fifth floor was caught up in the attack. I held back a lot. And I mean a lot. But that didn't mean much because most of the left side of the floor was in rubble.

A crater was formed.

No matter, I'm pretty sure the dungeon reforms itself after taking damage.

I feel like I'm forgetting something though. I wonder what it is.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

A scream could be heard.

Oh right. That's what I forgot.

HOW THE HELL DID I FORGET ABOUT THE MAIN CHARACTER!!

Bell should be getting chased by a minotaur right now. Did Aiz save him? I hope not. I need that minotaur. The storyline be damned.

The reason I'm on the fifth and not the 6th or 7th is because I wanted to fight the minotaur because I can't fight the ones on the 17th.

I ran toward the sound. When I got to a prt of the fifth floor, I saw a kid, 14 years old, Bell Cranel, also knows as the protagonist of the Danmachi series.

Me: Hey! Come here and get behind me.

I yelled at him.

Luckily, he was able to hear me even with the minatours maing sounds louder than an atomic bomb.

Ok, maybe that was an exageration.

I got closer to Bell, and he did as well.

Bell: Mister, we have to go!

Me: No, its fine.

Bell: Wha-

I quickly sped up to the minatour and jumped off the ground, my physical strength in my legs being oonstrous as they are allowed me to be in front of his face. The beast used his right arm to swat me away, instead I flipped mid air, landing on the arm. From there I gave it a simple kick on the face while balancing myself on the monsters limb.

The Monster took the attack. I jumped back onto the ground.

Bell: Wha-

But I didn't stop there, and neither did it. He threw a knew at me, I ducked and gave it a roundhouse kick near its bottom stomach area.

It flew back from the impact but not before attempting a hook to my right, to counter I put up a forearm and took the brunt of the attack, then launching a left hook of my own to its groin area.

While the Mintour took that attack, I sensed a being coming at a fast pace, Kenki for sure. Someone a bit behind her, probably Bete Loga. Kenki stopped though, a few several meters away from us.

She probably had several reasons to do so.

1. She has no reason to help Bell as a level 6 already was.

2. She could see my combat skills in action.

I don't know if Bell will fall in love with her or what but I don't care. She has eyes on his power even if she is a nice girl.

The beast came back and launched a kick and to repel that I used my right leg, put it over the arm and then used enough force to push it down. In other words a out toin crescent kick.

This caused the monster to be in a bowing position. I bent down and used a spin hook kick to to kick the monster back up. And from there it was time to finish this long fight.

I used my left hand to get a grip on its face, I then pushed its head down on the floor, intending to break its spine in the process and kill the monster. Luckily the damage it accumulated overtime was enough to do it. And the monster was no more. Only a crystal.

6 level gained from fighting with the level 2 monster with only martial ability. and 8 in total. No regular level-ups since these were rather weak monsters but it's fine. I'd say today was a big success.

I knew what was going to come next. A scream most likely. A scream from Bell. I'd rather not have that.

But I was wrong. No scream came. Instead a dust clod of wind from running away.

Well that sucks.

Bete: Hahahaha he ran straight away. Was he afraid of you? HAHAHA Gazelle boy. He ran like a Gazelle.

What the fuck is with this dude. His and his bullshit names.

Instead of talking I just went to the stone. I should give it to Bell later. So as to help ease the further complications Bete will bring in the near future.

I grabbed the stone and put it in the inventory.

Bete: What's with that skill of yours? You destroying it with nothing remaining or soemthin.

Me: Who knows?

Bete: I got a question. How the fuck did that Minotaur last so long against a damn level 6?

Me: Not that hard to figure out.

Bete: Let me rephrase that. Why did you let the fight last 1 fucking hours.

Me: Practice I guess.

Aiz then came to the two of us.

Aiz: We should go back to the others. You should come with us Riku.

Me: Nah, I'm good. Ima go to Babel and cash in some stones.

Aiz: ....ok

Bete: Lets go Aiz.

The two of them left.

And thus, that's how my first day in the dungeon ended up.

A/N- Writing Bete's lines are hard. He curses a lot but for some reason I find it hard to write them even the the oc curses just as much.
