《Is It Wrong To Not Give A Damn In The Dungeon》Ryuu

I'm still level 61. Overall my power hasn't changed, even with all the level-ups. But since I was very weak in that aspect it makes some kind of sense. Now that the expedition is over, I'll try to go down to the mid floors. Maybe in the 20 to 30 range. I just got to make sure Loki familial doesn't give me any responsibilities.
My coins on the other hand have piled up. In the 3000 range. I need a better weapon. I'll try to search the shop.
I opened up the shop and found their shortsword section.
In there I saw a variety of weapons. A blue shortsword that 2 feet tall, 1.5 inches wide, curved at the left side.
I saw a red one with a tight grip. it was a double-edged blade with a tine of monster blood at the tip to reinforce its durability. It was 1 and a half meters tall, 2 inches thick.
The price was 1,700 coins, expensive but purchasable.
I don't know who Reijo is but that doesn't matter.
The blade was currently in my inventory now.
I was near the Hephaestus shops, browsing the weapons they had on sale but they were all too expensive. To top it off, they were lower in quality than Reijo's Blade.
I quickly left the shop district.
I think I'm going to browse for potions.
The ones in the shop are fine but the higher ones cost too much for an individual potion. So I'll need to test out the ones in Orario and compare them to the ones the system has in stock.
I spoke to one of my shadows.
And all my shadows can speak, weak or strong.
Finn: This wasn't that big of an expedition but are all the wounded accounted for?
Rivera: Most of them have healed by now. They're all good.
Finn: And all the materials are accounted for?
Tiona: Uhhh yes everything is good no need to double-check.
Tione: Don't speak that way to the captain.
Bete: Dumbass
Tiona: Huh the hell did you say werewolf.
Rivera: sigh anyways what's on your mind Aiz?
Aiz: The minotaur that escaped-
Gareth: Oh you mean the one that Riku handled.
Aiz: Yeah that one...He wasn't using any weapons or magic or anything like that.
Rivera: Well he is a level 6.
Aiz: Well he was toying with it with just his physical ability.
Finn: Even though there was a level 1 in danger? I have to speak to him about that.
Aiz: It wouldn't have escaped him. There was nothing he couldn't sense. I think he even noticed me and Bete when we were several floors below.
Rivera: I see. He certainly has several ways to fight. We need to learn more about him and fast.

Gareth: Agreed.
Finn: Definitely.
The shadow relayed the directions to me.
'So this is the Miach Familia shop. It's pretty shabby like in the anime.'
I walked in.
When entering I saw a counter, potions stacked behind it, and a dog woman standing at the center.
Naaza: Welcome customer.
She seems bored af. probably just sat here all day waiting for customers or something.
Me: Mind if I see your least expensive potion.
Naaza: oh? You're the new Loki familial member. Supposedly level 6 or something. Why are you here to buy potions? Your familia should have them.
Me: I'm not involved with my familia.
I'd rather not interact with them much. I should focus on leveling up.
Naaza: Ok....you said the least expensive one right?
She then pulled out a small bottle.
Naaza: That should be 600 valis.
I asked one of my shadows.
Of course, she ripped off Bell as well.
Me: I'd rather you not attempt to fool me.
Naaza: You didn't even hold it or look at it long and you're assuming.
Me: If you're going to dilute a potion, next time don't do it so obviously. The more of these potions you sell, the more casualties you cause in the dungeon.
Naaza: Except there not diluted.
Me: I'll take it though.
Naaza: Huh?
Me: Exactly what I said, now accept the valis and hand it over.
When she was handing me the potion, the god Miach showed up.
Miach: What's happening over here. Wait, is that one of those potions. Naaza, I told you that you cant do that.
Naaza: Bu-
Miach: I don't want to hear any of that. Hand over the money to the young man.
But I was already gone. I don't want to hear any of their squabblings.
Miach: That was the new level 6 right?
Naaza: Yeah.
Miach: Hmm
I was in an alley.
Now that I have the potion, I should buy the system one.
I purchased one basic potion.
I guess the easiest way to test them out would be to get hurt.
"Who the hell are you"
"Get your ass outta here"
Wonderful, some drunkards can cause some damage.
Me: Yo, do you need my money for drinks or something. Just beat me up and take it.
"An easy one. I like that.
One of the two came running at me. With a fist, sloppy form, and looked lackluster. Not enough. He went for a basic right hook to the jaw. He landed it.
Me: Not enough. Use your weapons.
"Don't mind if I do."
The second one came running. He had a small knife. It looked like a butter knife? Why the hell does he have a butter knife. It won't do anything but you never know.

He aimed at my neck. When it touched my neck though, no blood can be drawn.
"I think that is enough"
A third person came. This time it was a maid in a green uniform.
Wait, is that Ryuu? Then does that mean I'm near the pub?
She quickly got behind the two drunkards and punched their backs, knocking them out.
Ryuu: You always seem to get into trouble, don't you Mr. Riku.
Me: You didn't have to interfere.
Riku: If I didn't they would have died and that would be troublesome.
Me: I get you, but it wasn't your bussiness.
Ryuu: You just let them attack you. Any reason why?
Me: There was. But you took that opportunity away from me.
Ryuu: I see, then I am sorry Mr. Riku.
She lowered her help a little bit.
Me: All I need you to do is to hit me.
Ryuu: ???
Me: I mean to attack me.
Ryuu: I'm not even going to ask why. Any place you want me to strike.
Me: My chest is fine.
She then went for a punch. It was a pretty powerful one. She was near level 5 after all.
I then pulled out the system potion. The damage healed instantly.
Ryuu: You wanted to test a potion.
Me: Yes, now do that again with the same amount of force.
She repeated her attack. And I drank the Miach potion.
It was definitely a lot worse. But this was also the diluted one so you never know.
In the end, I was a fucking retard to get the diluted one. Well, who cares. Getting another one is a waste of time.
Me: I know it was a weird request.
Ryuu: It's fine.
Me: By the way, you wouldn't mind if I stop by the pub.
Ryuu: The more customers that come, the better.
Me: I got some money on me. I think I'll go now.
We both walked inside the restaurant.
Ryuu found an empty table of 1. I took a seat.
Ryuu: Look through the menu and place your order.
I didn't bother looking at the menu. I was never good at picking.
Me: Whatever you think is best I'll get.
Ryuu: Why?
Me: You know this place better than I do. I trust your judgment.
I don't think she was ever a bad ordered or something. At least I don't remember from the anime.
Ryuu: Then I suggest the pasta.
Me: I'll take that then.
Ryuu left to get the food. I saw her interact with Syr. Or Freya.
Syr: Seems you picked up a cute boy.
Ryuu: Says you. How's it coming along. Is your crush coming today or what.
Syr: Hey, that's not fair.
Mia: Hey! No slacking on the job. It's about to be night soon, we need to get ready. But even im surprised to see you interested in someone. Did you and that new Loki kid talk or something.
Ryuu: Sigh do you have the pasta ready?
Mia: Yeah, May made it already.
Ryuu took the plate and walked over to Riku.
Mia: And if you want you can talk with each other. Just be sure to stop when the night rush starts.
Riku: Work must be tough.
Ryuu: I guess, but I like it.
Ryuu took. chair and sat in front of me.
I took a forkful of pasta and tastes it.
Me: Not bad.
Ryuu: Mamma Mia wouldn't like that.
Me: I'm not a critic. All I know is that good food is good and bad food is bad.
Ryuu: You're pretty weird Mr. Riku.
Me: Me weird? Says the elf working at a damn bar. Weren't elves prideful?
Ryuu: Not every elf is the same.
Me: True. I've been meaning to ask. You a high elf or a half-elf? If you don't want to answer that's fine, it's just been on my mind.
Ryuu: Im neither. A high elf is elven royalty and a half-elf is an offspring of a human and elf.
Me: So you're not related to Rivera.
I don't know much about her except that's shes gale wind.
Ryuu: No, not at all. I'm surprised you just call her that though.
Me: I call whoever whatever. And it's not just because im level 6. I'm pretty sure you noticed that I do whatever the hell I want. Im a high-level Loki Familia member yet im walking around town like a regular dude.
Ryuu: Yeah, you are weird.
Me: Sigh
I finished eating the pasta. Ryuu was just sitting there, watching me eat. Not talking unless I did.
Me: You're boring. Speak up and talk about things or something. I am in a place called 'hostess' after all. SO you might as well 'host' me.
Ryuu: You're very demanding Mr. Riku. But you see I'm not in the mood to talk.
Me: Don't care.
Ryuu: You really are weird.
Me: So I've heard.
She let out a slight grin. Well her lips just slightly curved up. Just slightly.
Me: So why don't we talk about your ears.
Ryuu: What?
Me: How does it feel to have pointy ears?
And so we chatted. We talked for a while, I had a nice time. Got a few laughs in.
And then night came.
Someone walked through the door.
"Hello, Syr.
"Hi, Bell. Glad to see you here"
Just great. I forgot that today was that day. Meaning Loki familia will be here and Bete will become douch bag #1.
What a pain in the ass.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
8 189Edge of the Storm
A thousand years after narrowly escaping extinction, humanity still fights for survival on the fringe of space. On the alien, hostile world of Deana, Taro is tasked with dealing a mortal blow to an enemy that has pursued the last dregs of the human species across light years. From the Wild Summer hyper-carrier, Taro must strike out at an enemy that seems like it would stop at absolutely nothing to ensure humanity's time in the universe draws to an end. The key to it all is Valerie, a human bred super-weapon, and the discovery she makes aboard the enemy craft Delirium. What to expect from Edge of the Storm: You will find here a slow burning story that is punctured by moments of high flying action, intense mecha battles, gory hand-to-hand combat, tough decisions and sacrifices. What you won't find are black and white morals, harems, cute girls, big boobs, or anything else that might bring me troves of readers. You have been warned. Update schedule: Saturdays (and maybe Wednesdays).
