, I yell as I walk back into the big house. After Christmas, we spent the rest of break in Alaska. For New Year's the whole gang decided on clubbing, let's just say it didn't end well. A broken jaw, Greyson's bleeding knuckles, and a crying me. A horny teenager thought it was a good idea to groupe my flat ass, I'll let you figure out the rest.

"Come in the kitchen Hazel, we need to talk.", my dad said calmly. To say I was scared was an understatement. I walked in to see him sitting by the table looking up into space.

"What's up dad?", I approached him cautiously while sitting down across from him.

"You want to know why I left you guys? I'll tell you, it was because I'm stupid. So so stupid Hazel. I got drunk when you where seven, your mom and I got into a fight that night and I ended in a bar. I met this girl, she was also drunk. Long story short, I slept with her and got her pregnant. Ya, you had a step sister. About a year later, the girl came knocking at my door. She told me that our baby died, and walked away. Your mother kicked me out of the house and wouldn't let me see you. I'm so sorry Hazel, I tired and I failed. I hope you can forgive me."

I'm in shock, I mean I guess its half his fault. Can I forgive him? Maybe it's just best if we all move on. I take a deep breath and speak.

"I forgive you dad, but I can't forget. Its gonna take awhile for me to fully trust you again, but you and Amanda are the whole family I have left. It better not to hold grudges.", I say giving him a small smile.

He let's put a sigh of relief as I got up to got to my room, "Wait, I forgot to remind you that Sara is flying in from Canda and staying with us for a few weeks.", I just nod my head and walk away.

Once I get to my room I let out a big groan. If you haven't guessed it I hate Sara, shes spoiled and the biggest brat. Well I haven't seen here since I was like 10 so maybe she changed. Hopefully.
